Good location.

They offer buffet breakfast, but the amount of the food served on serving platters is so small, that it is enough for one or two people, so you have to constantly ask stuff to refill it, especially for couples or if you want to take more than 2-3 bites of a specific food item. And the same is happening no matter the time you come for breakfast. After few asks you start to feel like bagger, for the food that you have paid! They do not have enough tables in the restaurant to host all the hotel guests at the rush hour, so be prepared to wait in the line for 15-20 mins for the table. The reception staff is not of much help if you need assistance with anything else besides regular things like check ins and check outs. Only one lady at reception speaks English.

The room was larger than the average Japanese hotel room. There was a sort of wide dado all the way around the room to put all your things on. Bed was very comfortable. A small dining table and two chairs and a small fridge meant that you could easily eat in. Location opposite the station with underground access was great. A 24 hour Lawsons downstairs. Best thing was the laundry and the lounge. In the lounge you could help yourself to free soft drinks and coffees with comfortable seating area and office spaces from noon until 9.

The bedding on each large single bed was a way too warm doona. I asked at reception for a sheet and blanket as a cooler alternative the next day and they were delivered to the room. Top marks for assistance all via Google Translate.

The staff were lovely, and they could communicate well in English. I could see Mount Iwate from my room's window. Sunset skies were beautiful. Room was big and spacious. There was a special multi-head adapter to use. USB were all working fine. Bed was clean and so comfortable, and there were 2 types of pillows. Managed to do my laundry, but i accidentally changed my money in the laundry room, thinking it was a coinchanger. Turns out it was a VOD TV card! Luckily the lobby staff refunded me the money, and changed coins for me to use the washing machines. They were very nice and understanding about it. Opposite there were malls, shopping areas. It's a very beautiful place to stay.

We can't cross the roads as there's not traffic lights or junction. There's a underground pass instead. No escalators. So the downside is you'll need to carry your luggage up and down the stairs. There're 3 directions, just keep going straight across and turn right. That'll bring you right to the hotel's convenient store. It's also connected via your room card to access the hotel lobby from within the convenient store.

I had a great stay in a corner room on the 14th floor. For the price it was fantastic. Great views. And the staff was really friendly and helpful. Location is obviously convenient as well. RIght across the station with a Lawson store accessible from the lobby. The room layout might have been a bit strange, but it was clean and cozy. The beds and pillows were comfortable too. Even though it was a bit crowded at the time of my stay, it was never inconvenient, and the laundry room was free all the time as well.

Spacious for twin bed room. The room is very clean and new. Toilet and washing area are great! High tech with adapters provided.

It is just opposite Morioka station. However must locate the lift, if not have to drag luggage down the underground stairs to go over to the hotel. It will be great if there is instruction on how to locate the lift in the website!

The entrance is not very convenient. Although the hotel is located directly opposite the station, you cannot cross the road directly, you need to go down to the underground passage and come up again. Additionally, the hotel entrance is located behind a Lawson shop, with limited walking space, which can be inconvenient for guests with luggage.

I liked that Richmond Hotel Morioka was so close to the station and that there is a Toyota Rent-a-car almost next door. There is a daily breakfast with a lot of variety. The location is close to many of the key sights. The hotel is clean and the rooms are well appointed. The staff are very professional. Best place to stay in Morioka.

This hotel room was spacious and fairly updated, especially compared to other business hotels I've stayed at in Japan. The mattress was firm but comfortable. It was very close to the train station. It's a good place especially if you are just stopping over for a night and continuing your travels the next day.

If you are particular about lighting, it's not great. There were some very bright lights that we couldn't seem to dim, even though dimming seemed to be an option on the remote. Besides the lighting, I can't really find anything in particular to criticize.

The hotel is just 50m from the northern exit of the train station and bus stops. The room is clean and tidy. Even our room faced to the main road but it is stilll very quiet. The bed is comfortable. A convenient shop is just next to the hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful. Very good breakfast which is value for money. The coined self serve laundry services is excellent,

We booked the room with 27m, but it does not look like that size, but it is only a small issue.

This was my third stay as a base to explore Tohoku by train during cherry blossom season.As new hotel with modern, comfortable rooms. Quiet. Great breakfast featuring local specialties.Just across the road from the station.There is an elevator very closeby to access the underground concourse leading to the station when you have suitcases.Amenities in Libby include drip coffee bags.
