The location is perfect, just out of town, for some quiet moment with a cool breeze. The guesthouse has a beautiful view for nature lovers. The property was clean, and the room was exquisite. The owner / host is very thoughtful. Instructions on checking in were simple, straightforward, and clearly communicated. Ample towels and cutlery were provided. The owner was generous enough to lend a throw to spread and relax on the lawn. The generator on site would kick in instantly the moment there was a power cut. The restaurant nearby (walking distance within the premises), Magnolia, was amazing, with a delightful menu and great service. Thank you. I'd definitely recommend this guesthouse anytime.

The guesthouse is located within such beautiful gardens. Seems so secluded and peaceful yet still close to Tzaneen Town. The host was absolutely amazing and friendly and made us feel so welcome. The rooms are stunning, calming, and of the highest quality. The attention to detail from the welcome drinks to the bedside chocolate and all the amenities is first class. The Magnolia Bistro o site has the most delicious food and the view from the deck is gorgeous. Definitely will have to visit there soon again. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

We had a truly wonderful stay at this guesthouse! Everything was beautiful, the garden was absolutely stunning and clearly well cared for. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with incredibly friendly and hospitable hosts who made me feel right at home. One of the highlights was the charming little bistro just a short walk away, perfect for a relaxed meal or coffee. The location is peaceful yet conveniently close to everything you might need.

The attention to detail was truly special, from the thoughtful touch of fresh flowers and a little sherry to the fact that everything I could possibly need was provided. St George's Guest House is definitely our go to for accomodation in Tzaneen. Love the cleanliness, the decor and the beautiful garden. It is pretty sought after so be prepared to be out by 10am. If planning a long stay I would caution against big bags as the space in bedroom is limited, however the comfort and cleanliness and wonderful shower makes it so worth it!

Marietjie was very helpful, and assisted with keeping our frozen food in her freezer. The room was spotless, and well supplied with tea and coffee.

A major power outage in the area disrupted our stay. The Bistro next door was working with lamps only. A few extra chairs in the garden would be nice. There is only one table, which was occupied. The Twin room had a better outlook.

The room was clean, ýou know how they put everything inorder it was like they had me in their thoughts. Marietjie was an excellent host, she arranged an amazing breakfast to be pre-packaged for us because we had an early start.

Nothing, the place was more than what we had in mind. Will go back again soon.

Nothing more to say but puuuuurrrrrfect!!! Wow if you have tick boxes... St George's mark them all... Comfort, space, location, amenities, hospitality, view, ambiance. Then add... tv... great wifi big fluffy towels, even great coffee station, decent work desk with good lighting... stunning comfortable couch big bathroom... did not know about liadshedding... Marietjie and Gerhard are stunning hosts. Magnolia Bistro on site deserve a mention. Wow awesome food at decent prices with beautiful view.. you do not need to drive to get something to eat for breakfast lunch or supper... I will be back!!!

Very clean and everything was in its place. Small things like setting out cushions to sit in the garden. Cleaning the room and small chocolate every day. Staff was very responsive and communicated well personally and on WhatsApp with requests

Beautiful views, friendly host, beautiful room,clean, there's a back up during loadshedding. Such a great place, this will be my go to place when I'm in tzaneen, it has met my expectations.

They only have showers, so I was offered a dish to bathe my baby. Rooms with a bathtub would do, otherwise everything is perfect!
