Hotel Stekl gives great impression from moment you see it in person, atmosphere is both luxury and relaxing. The staff were all super sympa and helpful. We had a problem with the rooms when we arrived, and the manager Jana helped us to switch rooms efficiently and smiling, Food was very good - rich offer in the buffet for half-board. The location is perfect just at the entrance to Hluboka chateau and rooms with a view are worth it. Rooms are large, elegant and very comfortable.

The mattresses were too soft, but we were told they will be replaced very soon for new ones. Would be nice to have a water boiler + tea and coffee in the rooms.

Our room was beautifully furnished with stunning views. The room and bath were both spacious and comfortable and the whole ambience was special and romantic. The proximity to the castle and park was great -- we enjoyed lovely walks and also the art museum that is located in the castle grounds. Both dinner and breakfast were tasty. The wellness area was pleasant. Would recommend and stay again.

It would be nice to have a sauna in addition to the steam room. It is a bit of an uphill slog to the hotel with luggage if you come by train, which might be challenging for some guests.

The location is amazing, the Spa&services are good: massages recommended! The steam room is a bit cold but the private sauna is as it should be. We stayed at a Royal suite. The breakfast has enough variety and good quality products. The dinner is great if you like local cuisine, but ultimately, anyone will find something good in the menu. The restaurant and the wellness look as new. The swimming pool has a ounter current :) 2 lane bowling and infoor digital golf is present. We liked the "cigar" lounge near the restaurant as well. The experience overall was very enjoyable and the bed and bed linens were comfy and pristine, blackout curtains present as well and there is a minibar and a safe box. Outside there is a bow amd crossbow shooting range, near Hluboka Castle. This also seems like a great place for a wedding.

The property suffered a lot from humidity/water and is quite run down, the ceilings and walls in many places are destroyed. It does add to the castle vibe, but might just bother some people for this price especially. We still felt good about the stay as the staff was honest and the rooms were really clean, just the reconstructiom is tough and covid did not help either, of course, so we decided to treat it a bit like we are supporting the reconstruction :) because there was quite a bit of visible damage everywhere. We hope more guests visit the hotel to help them rebuild faster.

location was very good just out side the castle. all the staff where very friendly we had room 104 which was very nice and a very large room, the spar was nice and the staff again very friendly and helpful. good parking garage. and great views for the windows al in all very nice stay

the dinner menu had 2 dished both very nice but he menu never change . one could order from the normal menu. and use credit. and the billing then become very complicated, any way the bill was correct and the food great

We used this night away for a couple of reasons. First, it was my fiancés birthday, and it provided the ideal setting for a memorable night away. Secondly, we have been viewing wedding locations throughout Czechia and elsewhere. This is a great location for it, and is in our top choices so far.

After checking in, we went for a drink in the bar. Amazing coffee, and drinks. My peeve was that the gentleman who was obviously the restaurant manager, he got annoyed when I went to order, instead of them taking our order at the table.

The location next to Zamek Hluboka is fantastic, the vibe is awesome and the facilities amazing. Breakfast on the terrace was also lovely and staff were really professional and very helpful. An absolutely awesome place to stay when you visit Hluboka! You won't regret it.

As we arrived during the heatwave (close to 40C) and were accommodated on the 3rd floor, we would have appreciated air-conditioning (or at least a fan in the room). Also, there was smell of a dog in the room which in the hot air wasn't pleasant. On the other hand, the room on the 1st floor we stayed in for the rest of the stay was fantastic, beautifully appointed, roomy, like in a fairytale.

Great value for money - fairy tale location, spacious rooms, great restaurant and breakfast, helpful staff, SPA included, and this hotel also offers half board now. I'm coming 1-2 times a year and it never fails to unwind me😌

No call signal in the room phone - so if you want to reach reception you don't know if it's working or calling?.. it's just silent😀 My friend says that the SPA pool is too cold, but I don't think so.

Really impressive interior with the best location to the castle. The provided leisure facilities are well maintained and the staff is professional and nice. All in all we enjoyed our stay to the max.

It would have been nice if after booking we have received some notification regarding the massages busy schedule because after arrival not all the members of our friend group managed to get an appointment. The sheets on the bed are better to be renewed, even though they were clean there were some black dots and small holes that didn’t effect our mood at all but it would be nice if they were not there. But still it didn’t ruin us the experience :)

With the indoor bowling, golf simulator, pool and jacuzzi, the Hotel Stekl is a fun place to stay.

While the food at dinner was excellent, the service was well-meaning but amateur -- serving the wine after we'd nearly finished our meal, despite repeated requests to bring the bottle, or looking pointedly at her watch when we asked about dessert options, even though it wasn't late at all, maybe 9:30 pm. As for breakfast, the buffet looks great, but all the hot food was cold, even a platter of fried eggs straight from the kitchen. And it was impossible to get a hot cup of coffee.
