There is nothing about Chunda Palace that is not likeable! The room was more spacious than I had expected. It was beautifully decorated Rajasthani style with paintings and relief without being gaudy. The staff were prompt and internet wifi was good. The location is excellent and the view from the restaurant was mind-blowing! The breakfast spread was adequate and food was very good! The staff was full of advice on where to go and how to avoid getting fleeced. We saved a lot of money following that advice!

I really cant think of anything I disliked.

I stayed here for two days and my stay was so delightful. Udaipur trip without this palace would have been very basic. From entering the palace to exiting it they made us feel so welcomed. The staff is always smiling and ready to serve you with the best. Their rooms are extremely spacious and has all what you need to make you feel comfortable. Food is so delicious and our service was made even better by Ritika. The restaurant area had an excellent musician who played fluet and made the room feel so inviting. If you are not staying here you are definitely missing out on feeling the regal atmosphere of Udaipur. Cannot wait to be back here sometime soon.

Breakfast, location, hospitality is good. Mr Chunnilal in the restaurant was exceptional and kind. Welcome drink is excellent. Rooftop is very good for dinner. Room upgrade was pleasant surprise.

The candle light dinner in the rooftop has candles that is too bright to eyes and the side of candle jars should be covered from the sides (all around) using sheet or cloth or some paint so that light comes from top or bottom of the jar (source) for a pleasant experience without eye irritation.

We did our daughter's wedding recently at Chunda Palace. The management including Mr Abhinav Singh, Mrs Isha Verma were so professional and gave reassurances for the arrangements and catering options. The front desk staff are very efficient with check in process to handle a big group from a small desk. The hospitality from the staff is exceptional. The Palace is so well decorated and every wall is a picture worth post card. Catering staff particularly Mr Sameer took good care of our guests and catered to various tastes. The options for food are so many, catering Continental, Rajasthani, South Indian and good choice of drinks like smoothies, tea and coffee. The staff are very kind and served the guests with so much attention. They are very flexible with timing and looked after us serving food out side time schedules making sure we were well fed. A big huge thank you to all the staff at Chunda Palace for a life time memorable experience of my daughter's wedding.

Power cuts. Uncomfortable mattress. Terrible dent in it not at all conducive to a good night's sleep.. The roof top restaurants too dark cannot see menu or food. Needs more lighting. Staff at breakfast often on their phones. More European foods please! Beautiful lounge area but no information whatsoever about the building and previous owners/inhabitants...pictures but no information...

The entire experience at the property was exceptional. The service by the staff was extremely efficient and the requests were fulfilled immediately. A special mention to the following staff members - Rasik Khan, Chunni Lal and Anushka. To run a property as well as they are without the association of a hotel brand is remarkable.

It will be great if branded and recognised toiletries are offered for use.

Very nice place. Really is a Palace that is preserved in the way it should be. You will feel like you are a royal. The rooms were not plain - they really had a character and were designed really well.

The service really could be improved. Sometimes we ordered things from reception and they didn't turn up, the welcome was not grand at all, the restaurant was very slow to provide us with our bill. In comparison with taj hotels, they do not compete in service. They are able to compensate for all of this with their property but to improve their service would place them in competition with the very best hotels in the region.

The room was very big with a few places to sit or simply lie down. The window opened into the property of the Trident, so the view was great!. The meals and the breakfast was good enough. I went to the terrace with my partner in the night: it was very breezy and felt romantic.

I wish the indoor pools were heated. The floor all around remained very slippery, so one has to be super cautious about it.

Beautifully decorated and ornate hotel. The bedroom was uniquely decorated and we enjoyed dinner on the roof and the lovely pool. The staff could not have been more helpful or pleasant. We stayed an extra night than planned as we felt so comfortable smd looked after.

Really tiny point ...hairdryer in room not substantial for people with longer hair.

Very nice propert. Kid and family friendly also value for money. Must recommended. Heated and roof top pool and breakfast was amazing. Very nice front desk staff.
