Cantika is the go-to-place for staying @Gili T. Genny, Thony and the rest of the crew were super friendly and very kind in order to make our holiday memorable! Private pool (very clean) added that bit of luxury to relax by ourselves. Breakfast was always served in the room - which for us was a stunning benefit. wide choice of food accompanied by local fresh fruit and mixes. we all appreciated quality and speed of service. Wi-Fi constantly @20Mbps was a great surprise, in case you need it ;-). Congrats for such a gorgeous Villa! A bit of our heart will always stay there!

Beautiful place on a beautiful island, Cantika Villa was a place that fit our needs perfectly for our stay. It was clean, spacious and felt homely. The pool was a nice size for the two of us and there were bikes to rent at 50,000IDR per person per day which was really handy to get around the island. The bed was comfy and the air con was good, which we definitely needed in the heat! The best part about this place and it is truly quite special is by far the staff, in particular Thony. He was informative, helpful beyond need (carried a suitcase on a bike back to the port on departure?!!) and just genuinely kind. People like Thony enhance a holiday 10 fold and that’s exactly what it did for us. We massively appreciate him and the team!

The wifi was quite poor in the room, although other rooms may be different! And just as pure feedback to Cantika, a light would be helpful on the bikes for nighttime! gets a bit hairy biking back in the dark!

We had the most incredible time at Cantika Villa! Everything was amazing — from the gorgeous villa to the outstanding staff and exceptional service. The team went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. They helped us effortlessly with fast boat tickets, transfer to and from Padang Bai, bike rentals, laundry, and even assisted us in accessing healthcare when one of us was injured. Their support was genuine, warm, and incredibly professional. Every member of the staff was friendly, helpful, and service-oriented — their kindness truly elevated our experience. We wholeheartedly recommend Cantika Villa to anyone visiting Gili Trawangan. This place is a tropical paradise with people who genuinely care about your comfort and happiness. Everything was just perfect for us!

Splendid staff and a beautiful stylish villa. Loved the decoration and thought through lightning of the place and the pool. The sleeping area is spacious, the bed is large and comfy and has also a warmer blanket, aircon is silent and efficient. You also get an electric mosquito diffuser - was really appreciated. The location was strategically perfect for us. We rented a bike at the villa, since the price was very reasonable, and explored both sides of the island, since you're in the middle of both sides. Minibar is filled every day and should you be hungry, you already have a leaflet in your place of a fabulous Italian place nearby which delivers the food to your doorstep. Was great since my 7 year old daughter loves Italian style spaghetti. We also booked snorkeling and loved how the staff gives you straight away the possible options to choose from. My respect goes to the staff that is always packed with positive energy, a smile on their face and are spectacular with children! Thank you guys!

Great place to base yourself in Gilli T! Walkable to both sides of the island even with our 3 and 6 year old. AMAZING staff! They literally couldn’t do more for you. Breakfast delivered to your room every morning to eat by your pool. Pool was great size, as was the space inside the villa. The staff even arranged our tickets for our return boat for us. Top tip: Definitely visit Jali kitchen round the corner for dinner as well - amazing food there!

The Wi-Fi was shaky - but we weren’t there to be on our devices so didn’t bother us in the slightest. Honestly couldn’t fault anything else.

Large bed, cool dim romantic lighting, spacious considering it’s a one bedroom. Rare to come across a place that looks better in real life than photos. Pool private. Excellent value for money. Great location, only a few mins walk to the main harbour shops, and a 5 min scooter ride to West side for sunset. The staff were so friendly and helpful, special mention to Jack! I spoke with them prior to arriving to arrange some surprises for my bfs bday and they were quick to respond and provide the information I needed. Helpful throughout the stay too. Easy to rent bikes & scooters from them.

Air con on a timer that switches off in middle of the night so it gets really hot, remember to switch off the timer before you go to sleep.

It was off the beaten track which meant it was slightly more quiet even though it is still close to the “party” side. The villa pool was large, and shaded which meant it was nice and cool and you could actually spend time in there without getting burnt (it was a little colder than we were used to because of this but still easy enough to get in). The staff were amazing. Very attentive, helpful, talkative and nice!

The only thing I wasn’t a fan of was the hot water running out. However it wasn’t exactly cold when it did so we were still able to shower. To combat this my partner and I just spread our showers a couple of hours apart and this seemed to resolve the issue.

My partner and I took ages to agree on a place to stay in Gili T, and we were so grateful that we decided on this one. Jack and the team were so accommodating and helpful with any questions. The room itself felt very comfortable and my partner and I kept saying how much we felt at home. Moreover, the complimentary breakfast was delivered to the door and it's what you need to start the day. Villa itself is not on the main strip but it's easy to walk or even get push bikes to commute around the island. Couldn't recommend this villa any more.

We loved our stay. It was quiet, peaceful and felt private. The breakfasts were great and the staff were exceptional- so helpful, friendly and had great advice! the bed was comfortable and cosy and the location was great. Easy to get around the island but away from the madness near the port!

There was a bit of an odour in our bathroom that came about whenever we turned the shower on, and the stairs were scary to use, the felt a little as though they would give way beneath you.

Excellent hotel, very intimate and tucked away from the usual hustle and bustle of the island, while still being close to all amenities. Impeccable cleanliness, absolutely wonderful staff, and delicious breakfasts.

The only downside might be the Wi-Fi, but it wasn’t an issue for us — in fact, it turned out to be a blessing.
