Great location, fairly quiet, north of busy area situated right opposite turtle beach, snorkel straight off the beach where the snorkle tour boats come daily for the turtles, save money not needing a tour. BYO snorkelling gear or hire nearby. Beach chairs, tables and lounges on Turtle beach, bar on beach and nice meals available at reasonable prices, indonesian and western food. Nice pool area although I swam in the ocean not pool. Standard room was located at rear of property and had more privacy than pool rooms and other rooms. Staff very friendly. Good wifi in room and at beach

Their staff are generally very nice, but I noticed that one of them tried to sell some Korean people a tour for an extremely high price. It would be better if the staff had a geniune desire to make the stay of the tourist as good as possible rather than focusing on extracting money from them

Great staff, fantastic location; right at turtle point and just outside the noisy area of the island, possibility to rent a bike, good breakfast.

The pool was not clean, so we did not go swimming. The mattresses we’re very hard, bit uncomfortable to sleep on.

The staff were unbelievably kind and welcoming. The room was spacious and clean and the bathroom was HUGE! The pool was lovely. The decking area out the front on the beach was a lovely way that we started the morning off every day. The staff at the bar were really lovely and accommodating. Overall, we absolutely loved it and we will be back!

The beds were really hard for us but we asked for a mattress topper and received one very quickly. Our rooms didn't get cleaned daily and we needed to ask for water daily but that didn't bother us.

They are not staff, they are like family. So accommodating, so helpful and friendly. Location is fantastic, away from the busy area but still close, and near the chill beach area. Snorkelling with turtles right out front. Great food, great rooms, biggest bathrooms on the island, reliable hot water and strong wifi. What else do you want?

Dirty shelf space

There is a lot to like about this place. Location of the property was great - just far enough out of town to be quiet and not too far to not want to make the trek into town. The use of bicycles to get around is fun and easy. The staff at this resort are amazing - they couldn't do enough to assist you. Being right on the beach and seeing turtles every day was great.

The budget rooms are not serviced, have very basic facilities and salt water showers. There is no brush available to sweep the sand that gets into the rooms. My room was next to a building site which is why I have to score low on some areas - this made the area of my room dusty, noise and a worksite to access and depart the room.

Initially we had to get used to the laid back vibe of staff - but that completely turned around as we were treated like family and totally loved our stay there and have recommended it to friends since and would return again - Its up a bit further from the busiest part of the strip - but loved my bike and it was a cooler vibe where we were - having the beach right opposite and daybeds readily available - and the staff attend to our every need was memorable - it was very hard to leave and sad to say goodbye

The wifi wasnt really working that well - you had to be close to reception to get online and they were undergoing renovations my friend wasnt that happy about her budget room room out the back (which was the last one available) and the noise from the tradespeople working but they did communicate that and the price subsequently was great value

This is the 2nd time we have stayed here and it’s just gorgeous! The staff are amazing, the rooms are so clean and the bathrooms are HUGE! Turtles swim by every day! Love the viewing platform which was perfect for watching the sunrise and catching sight of the turtles heads popping up.

The mattress is a little hard but fine

I was a bit worried when reading the reviews of the last 2 months, but I have to admit I've had a wonderful stay here! I've taken a bungalow, and it is true the cleaning was not the best but what can you expect from a bungalow next to a beach? :) Amazing staff who is always willing to help for anything, the swimming pool was very nice even if even better there was the free sunbeds service available for all the guests right in front of the resort and in the middle of the best snorkeling area of the island (we saw a lot of turtles right next to the sand!). If I ever go back to Gili Trawangan, I will definitely choose the same resort! It is the best price/quality option of the area!

As said before, maybe a bit more of cleaning of the room would be appreciated, but as expected in a bungalow next to the beach.
