It was amazing being beach front with the best snorkeling on the island right in front of the hotel. We saw more turtles at the hotel than on the tours we paid for! Beautiful spot!

AC was broken in our first room and it took me asking for two days in the heat to move us. The staff were friendly, but it just seemed very forced and they are not helpful if you need something. Food was ok. I tried to order dinner from the restaurant at 5:30pm one night and they said they were no longer taking orders even though there was a party of 8 eating in the restaurant at the time. The hotel itself is nice, but the experience with the staff is what brought down the rating for us. They just didn’t seem to care about guest experience.

I highly recommend anyone to stay at the Vamana Resort. We stayed 6 nights. We were all sad when we had to leave. It felt like home. I toured around for 3 weeks all over Bali and this was my favorite place the whole trip. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. I can not express how much we loved the staff there. The breakfast was delicious. The pool was awesome. AND its right across the street from the beach. It has the best location- corner store next door, spa down the street and the best restaurants walking distance and you can rent a bike at the front desk and you can tour all around the island. The area is quite which is nice because if you wanted to party it up the party places are just a short bike ride up the street. 10/10

There was nothing I would change. I enjoyed everything.

The hotel is just near the beach, with access to great snorkeling places and a chance to see turtles and many colorful fish. It is also relatively close to the port. It is situated on the main road on the east side of the island. There are many eating options and other facilities, e.g., spa centers around. The hotel has a short belt of beach with its own deck chairs and umbrellas. The breakfast is adequate as for a relatively small hotel. It also has not too large but a reasonably deep swimming pool that is rarely used by hotel guests so that one can have it practically for oneself. The staff is polite and helpful, and they also arrange travel options or snorkeling trips. Generally, rooms are large enough, with comfortable beds and solid room service. They also have a black resident cat (like most places in Gili), which could be an advantage for people who are cat lovers.

We were three people so to have a a comfortable stay we had to book two rooms, which significantly raised the total cost of the accommodation. But it is not a fault on the side of the location.

Lovely spacious, clean rooms (that looks like the photos) away from the main hustle and bustle of the busy part of the island but still within easy walking distance of the port and the restaurant and bars. Great showers. The bamboo architecture is lovely and gives privacy. The only (small) downside is the lack of natural light, however, with the incredible beach (and free sun loungers/beach towels) just a few metres away, there is no need to spend much time sat outside your room during the day and at night it's very peaceful! The beach is truly stunning and the corals and turtles are easily seen just a few metres offshore. Bring water shoes as there is a fair bit of rock and broken coral to navigate when the tide is out. You can order decent, good value food (we had two lovely meals there) and drinks to the beach too. Theres a lovely private, pool to cool off in after a day on the beach. The staff at Vamana are exceptionally friendly, helpful and lovely to chat with. The breakfasts were great, a good range and lovely fresh bread and juices. I would definitely come back and stay there again.

The beach is right at your doorstep. The water is so clear and blue. The snorkeling was incredible. The fish and turtles are amazing. The room was perfect. Very quiet which is what we asked for. The pool was lovely. A really lovely resort. Breakfast everyday was so tasty. We enjoyed walking through all the streets and stores. The Island is a perfect size, as we could walk around the entire place. We hired bicycles which I loved. A great way to get around should you choose not to walk.

We did not like that horses are used as taxi's. After we realized this, we chose to walk with our luggage. Having said that, Gili Trawangan was one of my favourite places to visit.

Absolutely loved staying at Vamana resort. The staff were so lovely and really looked after us well. The rooms were large clean and very comfortable beds. With lovely smelling towels! The location is perfect. Great turtles and snorkelling right off our beach, with own deck chairs for Vamana and the staff delivering any food and drinks we wanted. We hired bikes for our stay and could easily ride to the sunset side of the island or down to the bars etc. thanks for a lovely holiday.

An Amazing Experience! Our stay on Tili Trawangan was truly incredible, thanks to the fantastic staff. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the most kind and friendly people. The service we received was exceptional—they took care of everything, making sure we didn’t have to worry about a thing. A special shoutout to Jacky and Yousoup! These two hardworking individuals went above and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. They are not only professional but also incredibly hospitable and caring. My husband got injured while snorkeling, and Jackie immediately stepped in, offering assistance and providing everything needed to take care of him quickly. Thanks to him, we felt well cared for and at ease during this stressful situation. The hotel itself is perfectly located—close to the port, which is very convenient, and just a step outside, you can start snorkeling in the beautiful reef. Encountering colorful fish and majestic turtles was an unforgettable experience. However, it was the service, especially Jackie, that made our stay truly exceptional. It was great to wake up every morning and have a wonderful breakfast with Yoseph as our wonderful host! The beach was directly across the street and you can rent bikes to go around the island. Was a perfect location to be away from the party areas but close enough to walk to them when in the mood to party.

We didn't know they had a menu for lunch and dinner till we were leaving or we wld of had more dinning there.

Location - close enough to the action and far enough to be quiet. The basic facilities were very well presented. The staff were very personable and ensured we had everything we needed Breakfast was everything we needed Beach was across the road

Unfortunately the photos of the beach restaurant were out of date and should not have been used on booking.com The photos looked impressive (large bamboo structure on the beach), but this was removed some time ago). However there are plenty of options nearby that we used instead.
