Perfect location, it’s close enough to the party side of the island with lots of bars and restaurants. 15 mins walk from the ferry. The room and bathroom are very spacious and clean and really quiet. Food and drinks at the restaurant are similar prices to the rest of the island. They have dedicated day beds for the resort guest. You can snorkel right off the beach and swim with turtles. The staff at the resort are very friendly and helpful.

Amazing location right across from the best beach and snorkelling spot on GILI T ( I walked around whole island so have viewed all the beaches) . Every-time we swam/snorkelled in front of hotel there were turtles right there . Amazing drop off with corals and many fish too . we stayed in a newer villa, these are at the back of the property, lots of windows for natural light, villa was large, with plenty of storage and space , aircon worked well for the size of room. large bathroom with lots of natural light .

our only issue was the bed, it was terrible , so hard and uncomfortable, our hips, back and shoulders would be sore and we did not sleep well , we asked for a extra doona saying the bed was too hard , so we could put that as a makeshift mattress topper to relieve our bodies , they didn’t really seem to understand what we wanted it for but did provide a thin extra doona /comforter . we still had to fold it in half to try and get some kind of relief from the hard bed .

Beautiful bungalow with a wow factor ceiling and just afew feet from the beach, 15 mins walk to centre but bikes available out side get you there in 2 mins. Didn't need to go anywhere snorkeling as the turtles and coral literally just outside the accommodation. Perfect. Friendly happy staff and nothing too far away.

Nothing to do with the accommodation but the horses are worked around the clock and it's heartbreaking to see them slave heavy loads of rocks, wood and people with luggage. Wish this would stop as its cruel. Gili islands are a perfect heaven apart from this.

The location of the resort is fantastic! The room and facilities are so well kept and clean. The room was fresh and lovely. The buffet breakfast was amazing and well priced - it would be better if they included it in the room fair though. Great hair dryer and soap!

I was very excited to stay here for my birthday and intentionally chose somewhere nice however, I was offered a flower arrangement for my birthday which was never delivered. The resort also offered a complimentary cake however made this difficult for my partner to execute for me. Staff were hit or miss, some were amazing and very lovely/accomodating whilst others were unaccommodating. Cocktails were extremely strong and undrinkable.

Vila Almarik was an absolute delight from start to finish. Nestled in a prime location on Gili Trawangan, it offered the perfect balance of tranquility and accessibility. The resort's lush gardens, spacious pathways, and peaceful ambiance created a relaxing haven that felt like a true island escape. The room was beautifully maintained—spotless, spacious, and thoughtfully furnished with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the overall atmosphere was calm and inviting. While we didn’t sample the food during our stay, everything else about Vila Almarik spoke of quality and attention to detail. The staff were courteous, helpful, and always ready with a warm smile, making us feel welcome and well cared for throughout. For anyone seeking comfort, charm, and a great location on the island, Vila Almarik is a fantastic choice. Would absolutely return in a heartbeat!

Villa Almarik is a boutique-style hotel with dedicated staff ready to help whenever possible. The rooms are spacious, the bathrooms and the dressing area are large and the little balcony to have an early morning cup of tea is perfect. Though it's a bit further away from the beach, a short walk, the hotel also provides free motorbike drop-off and pick-up service. The kitchen ladies cook delicious food!!! We loved everything on the menu.

We went in December which is the rainy season. That means a lot of bugs and other creepy crawlies, especially since the hotel is surrounded by greenery. The AC in the bedroom didn't work to full capacity and even though the staff looked at it, it didn't cool the room as much as we would have liked. Little bugs would fall out of the AC and since it was directly positioned over the bed, they would fall on it. The lounge didn't have games or coffee-making supplies in case a family decided to hang out.

Nice tranquil place with a location in front of a beach with beautiful snorkeling, while also being close to restaurants and bars without being in the busy mix Beach chairs included - that we didn't have to compete with anyone to use We also liked that they had complimentary tea, coffee, and snacks in the afternoon

The beach chairs could use better upkeep. The pool seemed fine, but not particularly inviting as far as pools go. We also would have liked more convenient access to drinking water

We travelled around Bali for 3 weeks and out of 8 hotel rooms this was our favourite! The villa was fabulous with a huge outside bathroom, lovely lighting ideas and beautiful decor. There were lots of sockets including international ones in the room and lots of storage and hanging space. The ‘moon’ above the bed was a great part of the room and the daybed was a lovely surprise! The gardens surrounding the villas are beautiful and the outside water tap outside each villa was great. The location for this hotel is great, sunbeds on the beach and you can walk straight out into the sea and snorkel with lots of turtles! Surrounded by lots of restaurants serving delicious food and great prices.

The only thing that lets this hotel down is the food, it is well below average for a 4 star hotel and expensive in comparison to the surrounding restaurants. The afternoon tea is not great with dry biscuits and no cake. The sign outside of the hotel on the Main Street ‘stop here, good food is here’ must be a joke! Depending on which room you pick will depend on how far it is from the beach if walking is difficult. The villa had a lovely large tv however it didn’t actually connect to anything so couldn’t watch any tv channels with decent signal. Need a hard drive connected to a usb to watch anything. The pool looks much better in the photos, in reality it is very tired looking and needs maintenance and is closed at 7pm which seems a little on the early side.

Beautiful place just outside the busy part of Gili T and walkable in under 10 mins. The best part was being able to snorkel and see turtles right opposite the hotel which was amazing. Rooms are spacious and clean and the grounds are pretty and well landscaped. All the staff were super helpful too. They organise an e-scooter for us for a day which was hassle-free.

Breakfast seemed a bit limited for 4* so don’t book it for that! They also had an issue with booking.com messages as their account may have been hacked so if you get a booking.com message asking for verification and a link that takes you out of the app don’t do it! I didn’t and the hotel and booking.com were great about it - just a warning to others really

We had a cottage by ourselves, so that was pretty nice. Bathroom was nice and big with a very nice bathtub. However, the bathroom was outdoor, so it was quiet hot and with insects (I guess I am just not used to this kind of setting). Right outside of the hotel, across the road, there is a beach with launch chair (& restaurants) that we can use. Good snorkeling spot, we can see sea turtles swimming by. Nice place to hang out during the day, and great place to watch sunrise. The good thing is the beach was not that busy (private?), so we can always get front row seats. Location was very convenient, there are many good restaurants & massages places within 10-15min walk. Many diving shop & snorkeling tour shops (very inexpensive) close by too. It was approx 20-30min walk from the pier, so better to use the horse carriage to take you & luggage to the hotel. Breakfast was pretty good, they will take your order, rather than buffet style. Not too many variety though. The whole island was just prefect, with very nice water, beautiful scenery & beaches.

There are many cottages close to each other, so the environment was a little crowded. There are quite a few mosquitos, but the hotel would light up 1 Repellent Coils outside of the door (& bathroom if I asked them to), which would last whole night.
