Everything is great! The hotel is just above the Harbour Bay, very convenient. Room is spacious, bed and pillows are comfortable. Swimming pool is clean with nice sea view especially during 4-6pm. On top of that, the hotel staff are the best. They very helpful and efficient, especially Kevin who made our stay at the hotel very enjoyable. He was very patient in answering our questions, recommending food in Batam and explaining the culture and religion. He introduced us to the restaurant's chef Dinar, who personally prepared for us a unique Batam local cuisine Ketupat (traditional rice cake), rendang sapi (beef rendang), sambal goreng hati (fried potota with chicken liver), absolutely delicious! Highly recommend! We’ll come back again.

It would be great if it was clearly stated whether the room includes a bathtub. I may have overlooked the details, but I was under the impression that a bathtub was available. I even brought along a bath bomb, but unfortunately, the room I stayed in only had a shower and toilet.

The breakfast spread is awesome! Compared to other hotels, Marriott offers the biggest variety. The staff at the restaurant always provide excellent service. Great job, keep it up!

The breakfast menu should be changed at least every year or two. For regular guests who stay at the hotel, after a couple of months or years, it feels repetitive since the menu stays the same. The only change I’ve noticed is in the mini bar—used to have chocolate in the fridge, but now it's no longer provided. I wonder why?

The service is impeccable right from check in to the final moment of checking out. Risya at the receptionist attended to us for both check in and check out and we have such a strong and positive impression of her even though it was just a few minutes worth. They upgraded our room, gave us a one-day complimentary hotel breakfast and celebrated my partner’s birthday with a whole group of staffs even without my request. Room service and in-room dining when requested came very swiftly unlike the usual slow services in other hotels.

Their services are very good and friendly staff as well. Thank you to the duty Manager, Randi for giving us a complimentary breakfast and also sending us a small cake to our room as a wedding anniversary gift when he found out that we were going to celebrate our wedding anniversary at the hotel, when we checked in at the counter. We really appreciate that. The seaaview from our hotel room is amazing. The rooftop bar, the view is simply amazing at night as well. We enjoyed the live music there. The pool, which is also facing the seaview, is also amazing. The best part is that the hotel is just a minute away from ferry terminal.

Im staying at room 701. I think the toilet plug spoilt coz cant use the hair drayer. As for others is great!! Above the great staying over, the only problem is during rooms payment on the first day. My first experience payment rejection by my cards. Till now i cant figure it out why our cards been rejected when we can withdraw, dine and do shopping using the same cards. When we pick Marriott Hotel in the future hope there will be no problem for room payment again.

Everything is as advertised. The food was delicious, absolutely recommend breakfast at the place (worth the extra money). The hotel staff are very welcoming, polite and helpful. We celebrated our daughter's birthday at the place, and they decorated the room for us (all free of charge). They gave a tent for her to play with. They even provided us cake, and helped us blow several baloons for the occasion. They went beyond expectations. Totally worth the money. The location is also incredibly convenient. If arriving from Singapore via Horizon ferry, it's right next doors.

Providing a small kitchenette would be a great idea for families with kids. My kid has a special diet. Would be great in those circumstances. Also, inflatable tubes or swimming boards for kids would be lovely. However, they don't advertise it, so not a problem. Just a few suggestions.

Everything about the hotel is awesome. The breakfast spread was so good. The staffs were very friendly and helpful. The facilities that the hotel have is sufficient and maintained very well. There's nothing more you would ask for. This is my repeated stay. The hotel is linked to Harbourbay Ferry Terminal. I would like to personally mention the staffs names that have helped me alot during my stay, there are Rahmat(Guest Relation) , Deddy and the other 1 of his colleague I couldn't recall his name from (Baggage Department). This people are just lovely & gave out all their best service to the guest. The hotel should recognise them as part of an Excellent Staffs.

Nothing that can make me say till the word " Things that I didn't like" everything in Marriott Harbour Bay was just Superb. Nothing negative for this hotel from start to the end. Keep it up! If would be more great if you do have a family room & more affordable price. But what ever it is, everything is just too good.
