We had a wonderful stay here! From start to finish, the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. Whenever we had a question, they replied right away and always made sure we had everything we needed, which made our stay so much easier. Everyone spoke excellent English, which was a huge help since in the city not many people do and there isn’t much written in English either. Every morning they kindly waited for us to have a late breakfast, and there was always a delicious muffin along with coffee, tea, water, or fresh fruit waiting for us. Such a thoughtful touch! The rooms were very comfortable and spotless. The hotel itself is beautifully renovated, everything was in perfect condition, and we especially loved the small terrace area – perfect for eating, working, or just enjoying the fresh air. The location is ideal: close to everything, yet tucked away in a quiet side street. Even at night we could sleep with the windows open, as it was so peaceful compared to the busy parts of Ayvalık. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Ayvalık!

A beautifully decorated hotel, very clean, and centrally located in the heart of Ayvalık. Our room had a beautiful sea view. The owner of the hotel is a very lovely and attentive gentleman who also helped us get there by car and gave us many recommendations for nearby restaurants, parking, and beaches. Will definitely come back when I'm in Ayvalık again!

There is no breakfast offered. A small breakfast would have been nice, but the fresh filter coffee and homemade pastries were sufficient for a quick breakfast.

A very warm welcome to two bedraggled and weary visitors, including booking our airport shuttle for the following day and carrying our luggage up the stairs. A beautiful old building with tasteful vintage touches throughout. Only a one night stay unfortunately but hotel was ideally located for sampling the centre of town and the delightful port area. A very nice touch was to offer complimentary tea and a couple of tasty treats in the morning before we headed off to Izmir airport. We will be back.

As stated only stayed one night, arriving late and leaving early so for that short period there was nothing at all to dislike. It suited our needs perfectly for a simple, traditional Turkish hotel that was welcoming, clean, attractive and obviously well loved and cared for.

The hotel is simply gorgeous. There are so many nice details, like the antique ceramics. I was truly charmed by its vintage yet curated aesthetics! The staff is incredibly nice ! They gave me tips and recommendations for places to go for a swim as well as to go for dinner. One of them even found me outside the hotel and happily greeted me. Everyone was super kind. And though they claim not to serve breakfast, they offer coffee, tea and a lovely Turkish pastry and a cupcake in the morning. Everything was amazing and it made me want to stay longer !

Retro, vintage style of the hotel and the rooms. Great view of the ocean and the sunset from the room window (the room with the ocean view is extremely beautiful and highly recommended). The staff was very friendly and highly accommodating. The hotel is on the main street with every restaurant and bus stops being accessible. The ventilation in the rooms was great and so was the wifi. Highly recommend the peaceful environment for couples and families.

Very polite and friendly hosts, amazing hotel and comfortable room! I definitely recommend it to everyone wanting to stay in Ayvalik. The coffee and cakes they serve in the morning are just perfect to start your day. We had everything we needed. The hotel takes you back to the past with its preserved neoclassical building and view to the sea. Even though the building is not new, it was perfectly cleaned and smelled amazing.

Historic hotel tastefully and simply and sensitively renovated. Fresh crisp bedding that smelled so good! Comfortable bed. Amazing views! Super hospitable owner on site. Helpful and hard working staff. Walkable to really good restaurants and shopping. Easy drive to quiet and beautiful beaches. Very restful stay.

Not much! The rooms and baths are a little small. That said, everything feels true and authentic.

The Kidalyo Hotel is situated in a beautiful old house with a lot of charme. From the balcony in the second floor, you have a view of the ocean. The owner was very friendly and gave us advice regarding things to see and where to eat. The restaurant he sent us to was excellent. Even though the place does not serve breakfast, there is an offer of tea and coffee (the owner made us Turkish coffee) and homemade pastry which was delicious. We loved that Ayvarlik is a small, charming town - very good to relax.

In the mornings, they serve very nice coffee and tea, along with pastries and muffins. It was all great. Everyone was very friendly. The location is very central, I walked around with my friends all day and it was very safe to walk the streets alone at night. All the employees were very friendly and helpful. Everyone treated us like family. Thank you very much everyone for this experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The accommodation is situated in a very central part of the city, with everyone being incredibly helpful. The rooms were spotless and beautifully decorated. I’d love to return and would highly recommend it to anyone planning a visit to Ayvalik.
