The property is in a nice location in a medieval village on a steep road. It is well restored and comfortable. There is no lift but the host helped us with our luggage. A spacious and comfortable bedroom with adjacent bathroom. The breakfast was also very good and plenty with lots of homemade and delicious food. However, what made our stay special was the hospitality of the hosts. Our flight was delayed by three hours and we did not arrive at the property until well after midnight and we were welcomed as lost friends! An amazingly friendly and hospitable B&B!

A Casa del Nonno is an absolutely amazing little B&B in a lovely mountain village, with great local walks. The hosts are incredibly friendly and helpful, and provide a wonderful fresh and varied breakfast. They even did this early for us on our last day, before we headed off to the airport. Definitely the place to stay if you are touring this part of Sicily or visiting the local Observatory. The little restaurant at the Observatory is also totally fabulous, and very much a favourite with the locals.

The breakfast was fantastic. Definitely the best we had in Sicily. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and provided a real insight into life in the hill villages in 2025. Sadly we had poor weather so did not get chance to enjoy nether beautiful countryside during our very short visit. We hope to return soon.

The village is very quiet with limited opportunities for food / drink unless you drive 15 mins to larger towns.

Lovely sleepy village, great to experience some a bit of real life Sicily. House is a nice example of a traditional Sicilian home, and has some lovely old tiles, beams and furniture. Hosts were very welcoming, friendly and accommodating. Was lovely to chat with them at breakfast, which was 10/10 and served in their living room, very good value indeed.

No AC in room so was a little warm/needed to leave window open. The room is up a quite tight set of stairs so we left suitcases in car as we only stayed 1 night.

Isnello is quite a lively mountain town, with some 1,300 inhabitants, 7 churches, 2 bakeries, 2 vegetable vendors, and lots of small streets to wander around. The B&B is located in an old, tastefully renovated, and lovingly decorated building near the center of the town. The hosts are very friendly and have gone out of their way to make us comfortable and prepare a very nice breakfast for us. Everything is very neat and clean. Parking is available down the road, or at a (free) public parking place some 150 meters away. We highly recommend this place; I wish we had stayed longer.

We loved it! Isnello is such a beautiful and charming place, and Casa del Nonno was the perfect base to explore. Spacious, comfortable room, outstanding breakfast and both Nonno and Nonna were great hosts. Thank you!

Loved the small village feel, not touristy, yet there were a few restaurants open even in off-season. Owners extremely friendly, helpful. Best.Breakfast.in Sicily!

We didn’t have internet, though host tried to put us on his phone as hotspot.

We end up in Isnello because we wanted to see mountains and we found this amazing place on Booking. The Owner speaks English and German. Room is furnished with taste. Breakfast was really good. We recommend this place to anyone who likes small, nice and beautiful B&B. In the city are only 3 restaurants and on Monday only one is open. It is better to book a table in advance.

Bathroom is not in the room but really close. I can understand that in old building it is hard to do it differently.

We loved the hospitality of the hosts, the ambience of the house/room. It was clean and comfortable. Free parking nearby. Breakfast was plenty and freshly made.

The least that we liked is the fact that the bathroom is not in the room itself, but we already knew about that during our booking.

Situated in a beautifully refurbished village house, the room was spacious and characterful. Everything was spotlessly clean. The quietness at night, coupled with an extremely comfortable bed, made for a blissful night's sleep. Our hosts were delightful. Breakfast was superb. This accommodation is a little gem, not too far from Cefalu, set in a lovely mountain village which, somewhat surprisingly, had an excellent restaurant too.
