Good proximity to Freiburg. We cycled. All the way to Freiburg cycle paths. The food in the restaurant was quite good. The room was quite spacious and breakfast - although quite standard - provided sufficient variety.

There were no mattress or pillow protectors which is below any hotel or accommodation standards. It really put me off and just for that reason I probably would not come back. And the staff - although very nice - could be somewhat more attentive/alert, especially in the restaurant. They were quite laid back. However you could say this was part of the hotel’s charm.

We were put up in the new apartments connected to the hotel and I have to say they were great. Very big with your own kitchen. The bathroom was bigger than a standard room in other hotels. Not sure what the rooms are like in the main hotel but the apartment was great. Also had plenty parking.

Have to say the breakfast was definitely not worth it. If it comes in the price…ok. If not it wasn’t that great. Only hot food was boiled eggs or pretty dry scrambled.

An extended continental breakfast, no cooked food provided., lots of cold meats and cheese, bread of all sorts.

No restaurant in the evening during the week day, needed to drive to get to a restaurant, having driven all day it was the last thing I wanted to do. Needs to be shown that there's no restaurant during the week. Would have chosen a hotel with food in the evenings

The room was lovely with a large sitting area, a bedroom, a balcony overlooking the garden and a super shower room. The staff were very professional and friendly.

Nothing, apart from the menu might be a little limited if you were staying longer than 2-3 days. Everything else was just right for us.

Great location close to the main road. Bed was very comfortable and bedding and pillows lovely The restaurant was very welcoming and food good. Staff were all very professional and helpful.

Some milk in the room for tea and coffee would have made the stay perfect

Heard a vibrating noise in the bedroom at 03:00, loud enough to get up and investigate. It came from the fridge when the compressor started the fridge vibrated against the cabinet door. I simply pushed the fridge back and problem solved - although I was now wide awake

We were lucky enough to get an upgrade in order to accommodate our baby cot and arrived late. This was greatly appreciated after 8h drive with a 2y old^^ The property exceeded our expectations, the bed was of an amazing quality and the breakfast had plenty of options. We would definitely come back! Thank you!

Our room number was not written on the signs and we needed some time to find it :D

Room spacious. Location close to motorway. Comfy bed and pillows. Sockets near mirrors to do do hair. Restaurant very good. Nice breakfast

Chargers sockets would be better than just plug sockets. Milk and coffee in room would be good.

We were given a self contained appartment with parking just outside. Good location not far from the motorway in a nice quiet village

No air con. Hard to find on car sat nav

No kettle, tea/coffee making facilities in the room.
