The breakfast was excellent! Extensive buffet and eggs available too, very good hospitality.

Well only that my room was quite small and didn’t have a toilet (there was one on the corridor). That’s not a complaint at all - I knew that when I booked, so it was exactly as expected. But the Schrofenstein was great - lovely friendly people who ran it, really good service, a very comfortable place with good facilities, and an excellent location only a few minutes walk from the centre of town and the ski lifts.

Very clean and well located. Friendly and helpful staff, and great breakfast. I was able to use the shower facilities in the sauna on my last day, after ½ of skiing, before taking my taxi…that was very convenient. A relaxing and well-appointed communal/bar area.

One small suggestion…since there is a kettle in the room👍, having some coffee and tea in it would be a nice touch. Some of us are early risers and like to have a morning coffee before getting moving.

Good location in a quiet part of Lech, where you could ski to the nearby Schlosskopf lift and a reach the village center with a short walk. Great breakfast. Good ski storage with heating of the skiboots.

Breakfast from 8:00, which we perceived as late since the lifts opened at 8:30. 7:30 would suffice. Very (dangerously) slippery entrance and parking lot. No elevator.

We loved this place! Perfectly situated in Lech with a 2 minute walk to the chairlift and a 5 minute walk to the centre of Lech. The hosts were great and helped us coordinate buses, trains and taxis for our various travel needs. The breakfast was delicious each morning and the hotel was very clean. Added benefits included a sauna, a ski storage room and sleds you could borrow for tobogganing in Lech. Good value for money.

The owner is very nice and very very helpful due to my husband injury. The comfort triple room is in good condition and size is reasonable. The view of the room is excellent with town and mountain views. Breakfast is also ok.

Friendly family run hotel . Couldn’t have been more helpful , check in was early & done online before we arrived , rooms were clean , comfortable & well laid out . Staff recommended restaurants for the evening & told us where to hire skis . Thoroughly enjoyed our stay .

Breakfast opens at 8am which is way too late, this is the only negative of the property. It’s a ski hotel, breakfast should open at 7:00am, so we can make the first gondola at 8:30am and not rush.

It was very warm and welcoming, and felt totally safe for me as a solo female traveller, visiting for a few days of skiing. The single room was really cosy, and actually had a shower (the only part of the bathroom that was ‘shared’ was the toilet, just along the carpeted landing. Lovely new towels, nice shower gel, good quality loo roll and bedding (duvet). Very convenient ski room with good quality boot dryers.

Breakfast was great, staff were friendly and location was very convenient. Also got a discount on ski equipment rental for staying here!
