Very friendly and helpful staff. Very good beer at the restaurant from their own micro brewery. Very good breakfast starting at 7 am with excellent Swiss cheese and good bread. This is a hostel und thus you have to be prepared this is not a five star hotel. However, it is a very good place for staying one night. Quiet room with sufficient heating.

Friendly and helpful staff. Hostel is a separate building with good facilities for the price and easy access to the Waterfront and to the Station. The Brewery and Brasserie was a high quality and enjoyable experience, often with a busy atmosphere! It also functions as the hostel reception. For late March, it worked well for my trip.

Friendly staff, nice location close to the lake and walking distance to the train station, beaches and the old town.

No individual lights in the shared dorm so it's inconvenient to turn the main light on if someone is already sleeping in the room.

Great ambience with the beer garden just in front to the bedrooms. Excellent beers and food by the way! Comfortable beds, pretty clean and.good showers/WC. There are electronic safes in the rooms. Definitely an amazing place to stay in Biel, for every kind of traveller (solo, couples, friends, families with kids, etc).

The only thing I didn‘t like was the bathroom light that takes about five to ten minutes to shut off and can‘t be turned off manually.

Check in was fast and friendly despite the establishment being very busy. It seems to be a local watering hole so there was plenty of atmosphere about the place and not boisterous at all. There's a substantial food and bar facility with nice but basic outside seating. The rooms are spartan, but spotless. Nice, but basic ensuite facilities.

Towels were provided but no toiletries. Only free parking for 7 vehicles. Loads of adjacent parking and free overnight, but about 1 euro per hour outside this.

Close from the train station. Fully equipped kitchen. Good quality reasonable food in the pub. Several choices for breakfast: self-cooking, buffet or just coffee& croissant. Friendly staff.

The location is wonderful, the staff are very friendly and helpful and the room was spacious and had all I needed!

The mattress was a bit too soft, and it was very hot at night (fan provided though, which helped!)

This hostel has a great atmosphere - friendly, relaxed and uncomplicated. There is a bar/micro brewery offering drinks and food with plenty of outside space.

It was a nice stay. The room was warm, clean and comfortable. It has a kitchen and lounge which was also good.

Stayed there 4 days and no cleaning any of days. It s after check out but it would have been nice if there would be a quick cleaning in the room like in every 2- 3 days.
