Very beautiful location in a gorgeous garden. The bungalows are cute, well-equipped, and spaced far apart, offering a lot of privacy. The place is remote and very quiet, which we loved as this is exactly what we were looking for. The family that runs OonLee is very helpful and friendly. The food is very good, and they have a happy hour on the terrace by the beach to watch the sunset. The beach in front of OonLee is rocky, but just a short walk away is a more sandy area.

The road to the property is very bumpy and narrow. We were not planning to move around the island, so it didn't bother us. The bungalows are located on a hill, so it's quite steep. I wouldn't recommend it for people with disabilities.

We loved everything about Oonlee it is a piece of paradise on the beautiful un spoilt island of Koh Jum. Everyone at Oonlee is lovely, helpful and friendly. You really feel like you are getting to know the family. The accommodation, food and scenery all fab. We were so relaxed and chilled here. We are not ones for motorcycles so only ventured out on foot for a few walks to magic beach and nearby cafe’s. The beach bar at happy hour watching the sun set so the perfect way to end a day of relaxing. Would highly recommend and hope to return one day. Oh and the choice of breakfast is amazing.

Nothing to complain about here…. People have mentioned the food to get here, it’s track and I wouldn’t like to be driving but the locals are expects at driving here and know what they are doing so no issue!

We absolutely loved our time here, our sea view room was wonderful and we very much enjoyed just chilling on our balcony. The food at the restaurant was delicious and varied with wonderful daily specials. The stretch of beach that’s directly accessible is lovely and untouched, whilst the beach bar offered the most spectacular sunset views. The best part however was the lovely family who run the property who were so hospitable and welcoming - huge thanks to Oon, Valerie, Alec and Joey, we had an amazing time and can’t wait to come back!

One thing to be mindful of is that there are a lot of stairs that are quite steep

Oon Lee is pure bliss island bliss. A warm welcome from Oon and Valerie sets you up for a wonderful stay - set amongst landscaped grounds with beautiful butterflies floating in the warm breeze. Our bungalow had a magnificent view out across the sea watching the sun set in the evening was a daily highlight. The restaurant is of a very good standard with a wide range of delicious food - and the beach bar is a superb place to watch the sun drop down over the horizon as Daris talks you into another cocktail! Oon and Valerie and their boys will make you feel entirely at home and are the perfect hosts - helping you plan/book trips on or off the island. Ko Jum itself is a perfect piece of paradise in what is fast becoming a built up and busy Thailand. I hope it remains exactly how it is as we hope to visit Oon Lee again in years to come! Having to leave!

A short walk to a relatively private beach, only shared with the folks from the nearby bungalows. The food at the restaurant was incredible, I highly recommend going there for both breakfast and dinner and trying as much as you can. Some of the views are slightly obstructed by the trees that help hold the slopes together but otherwise incredible sights can be observed from the restaurant while relaxing with a fantastic meal. The staff were incredibly helpful and nice, and always ensured that guests were comfortable and taken care of. Boat tours and other transportation planning can be taken care of by the staff so if you wanted to go to some other beach destinations, it's a boat hop away!

Some folks may not like the local wildlife (e.g., monkeys, ants, etc.) that come with a semi-outdoorsy stay, but that's what you sign up for when staying in a bungalow! I personally didn't mind as I lived in tropical areas before, however if bugs and other things eek you out, this may not be right for you. One thing future guests should keep in mind is that the bungalow itself is a bit far from other businesses, so you'll either need to walk, motorbike, truck out or go on a boat adventure should you need anything else that the bungalows cannot provide.

The family is wonderful, so friendly and welcoming. Every need is met. The place is spotless, and surroundings are just beautiful. The food is the best I've had, 5star breakfast and a free lift back to the main road was just ideal in 34 degrees. Thank you very much. The bumpy road is worth it and adds adventure. Please stay here if on koh jum there isn't anywhere better. In low seasons, you get beaches to yourself and amazing sunsets from the beach. You will not regret your stay here.

W O W It is really hard to explain how heavenly this place is. At first we were not sure, because the way to get to the hotel is somewhat complicated (crew actually comes to pick you up with a truck, which is so badass!!!), but this place really checks all the marks. It is the place at the end of the road, deep in the forest, so you can relax away from those other noisy tourists. Beach is very cute and most of the times there is noone around so you can really unwind. Bungalows themselves are very nice and bed is comfortable. There are a lot of things you can do around here, there is bar with pool table, they offer masagges or kayak rental. However what makes this place full of soul are the people, the most friendly and caring crew we met! And don't even get me started on food... what I would give to have this yellow curry for a dinner now... Oh, dreams! It is criminal how good this place is and I hope to come back someday!

The only thing missing for me was hairdryer.

My stay in the bungalow was great. The whole atmosphere of the resort is fantastic, very relaxing and beautiful with the sea and the amazing green plants everywhere. Bungalows are far enough from each other, there is full privacy. They serve good food and I liked very much the atmosphere and furniture of the restaurant - very comfy chairs. I was sitting there for hours just reading looking at the sea. The sea always can be heard from the bungalow (with sea view). Loved it.

What can I say that hasn't been said already about this beautiful and magical place? If you are looking for a dream relaxing vacation on an island, look no further, this is IT. From the moment we arrived, I felt so happy and at peace. The Bungalow is so nice, I wish it was my home. The staff is incredibly helpful and polite, always up for a little chat. The food and drinks were delicious. Beautiful sunset spot. They have really sweet and well taken care off dogs at the resort, too, which I loved. Also their facilities are quite sustainable in terms of green traveling. Leaving was the saddest moment of our trip so far. We will be back! ❤️

I went to Ko Jum during April, off-season and staying and Oon Lee's apartments was a great decision. The apartment is located directly at the beach, with a nice restaurant overlooking the sea. The WiFi is great (300 mbts), which made my remote work activity exceptional. I would totally book it again!

My stay was perfect. The only downside I can think of is the remote of the location, the road is bumpy, but when you rent a scooter this is not a problem, rather a fun activity.
