Koh Jum Delight is a wonderful place to stay to just STOP. The staff are so very welcoming and accommodating we were made to feel welcome from the moment we were picked up from the ferry. The resort itself is a pleasant layout with access right on the beach. The beach is the biggest draw as it's by far the best on the island. Every resort may be fully booked, but it's easy to believe you're only one of a few people on the whole island. The rooms were comfortable and perfect for what we needed - a cool place to get a good night's sleep. The restaurant and bar have a great selection of food all cooked on site. I seriously recommend the spicy seafood glass noodle salad! The resort attracts well behaved European families and older couples which was nice as we had escaped from Railay as it was just not our vibe. If you want to party and drink into the night... DO NOT COME TO JUM. It's a quiet island and it would be so nice to keep it that way. There are plenty of other options for you in Thailand... The resort rents scooters and kayaks and accepts credit cards for a transaction fee which is lucky as there are no ATMs on the island and cash is king.

The only thing I can think of are the sun loungers. There aren't masses of them (which I suppose is also a good thing as they tend to clutter up the beach). However parasols would be a great addition as there is limited shade on the beach and the Thai sun can get SERIOUSLY intense.

Simple very clean Aircon bungalow with hot water, good WiFi, fridge,. Resort staff friendly & kind. Restaurant food tasty, and whole resort well maintained and taken care of. Beach location is superb, beach is beautiful for swimming and daily walks.

Motorbike hire, massages, laundry all 25% + higher than the other resorts I stayed at on koh jum. Hiring out the kayaks instead of providing free use as most other resorts do felt a bit greedy.

Everything! Staff is exceptionally friendly, the food is excellent, the beach beautiful! The resort is the perfect getaway to relax and enjoy the sea. The resort is right on the beach and you can swim no matter the tide. Staff will help you book trips and you can rent a scooter on the spot. In case you don't know how to get to Koh Jum: just book the resort and they will tell you how to get there (there is a number of piers on Koh Jum and the resort will pick you up anywhere).

The location couldn't be better, after months of travelling this has been the perfect place to relax. Morning walks along the quiet beach, plenty of chairs to sit and watch the waves, shaded areas when it is hot, a lovely pool that is cleaned every day, beautiful sunsets, and warm sea to swim in, and the loveliest staff who make delicous home cooked food all day long. I particularly liked the green curry, spicy mango salad, and pad thai. They also made lovely smoothies, just fruit and ice, no added extras. The whole place is set up for relaxing and enjoying, even when it is busier it doesn't feel too noisy or over crowded. The rooms are comfy and have everything you need, the air con is good, the shower is powerful. You can rent a motorbike to see the island. It is a one mile walk to the closest village where there are some shops and cafes. You could easily stay on the resort the whole time you are here. It is very self-contained.

Fantastic location right by the beach. Great lounge chairs, and greatly appreciated the separate beach towels. Super quiet airconditioner, comfortable bed. The receptionist was very pleasant, answered all my questions, and was very helpful with booking airport transfer. I love this island and the laid-back atmosphere (no cars, no 7-elevens).

Breakfast buffet was of mediocre choices and quality. Being a late sleeper, I did not appreciate that the buffet gets cleared at 10.00h (at 09.58h to be precise) and it is impossible to get even another cup of coffee because the machine is dismantled for cleaning. No fault of the resort: beware of sandflies on the beach at the end of March, I came away with about 50 extremely itchy bites, despite mosquito repellent.

It was a paradise. We had the biggest bungalow right at the beach - 3 adluts and one child. Very spacious, clean, and well airconditioned, wirh a terrace and an extra bathtub with shower on the terrace. There were plenty options where to sit outside and at the beach. It was very quite and we had sever kilometers of beach just for us. We could swim even with a low tide. The reataurant was good, breakfast quite limited, but even I could choose and I am very picky. We tried 2 restaurants next to the resort and they were both great. The Island is quite small. We rented a tuk tuk and drove one day to the other part of the Island and stayed the whole day at another beqch whi h was also quite and lovely. It is a perfect place if you want to relax on your own.

Everything was great, but you cannot expect night life. Yet there are couple of bars on the beach where you can enjoy coctails and beautiful sunset.

The resort was lovely, quiet and peaceful on a gorgeous sandy beach. The pool was very clean and well maintained and was the perfect spot to cool off at any time. The staff were so pleasant and attentive. Our cabin was cozy and comfortable with excellent air con a small fridge and great shower. The well covered deck with drying rack was very helpful for our wet towels, swim wear. We rented a scooter through the resort which was the best way to explore the island.

Beachfront location with good bar and restaurant facilities. Shower good and plenty of plug sockets.Pool was lovely to cool down in and was often the only person using it. The resort was better than the pictures had shown. Other restaurants/ bars nearby and even the walk to the town (pier area) was easy enough. Lots of mini mart around for supplies. Overall we had a better stay at this lovely island than we had expected. For a slower pace of life I definitely would recommend coming to Jum and staying at this resort.

I've just spent 7 nights at Delight Beach and would highly recommend it. Located on, probably, the best beach on Koh Jum, the resort is a little haven of peace and tranquillity. Simple, comfortable accommodation, super helpful staff, great food and a lovely pool, make it the perfect escape from the hustle, bustle and tourists of the other islands. And, just so you know, there's also a great little bar, 2 minutes walk down the beach, for that perfect sun-downer !! So, to Suwadee and all her team, many thanks once again for a really memorable stay. Will definitely be back.

Great little resort right on the beach around 20minutes walk to Ban Ko Jum. The pool was lovely to have, not big but clean and set out with loungers. We also had separate pool towels to take out of the room. The staff were so friendly and helpful, collecting us and dropping us back at the pier when we left. Great value accommodatiòn

One of the local wild dogs was always begging at the breakfast tables. The resort dog stayed well out of it's way, even when attacked by the wild dog. The dog should not be allowed in the restaurant. We had to shoo it away a couple of times but the resort staff just let it stay. Not a pleasant experience. Water from the restaurant was 50bt which we thought was expensive. Scooters were 300bt per day, also expensive. We just went elsewhere for both. Apart from that, nothing else
