Koh Lanta is not a tourist destination Mecca like Phi Phi or Phuket… which is what we were looking for in between some really busy days. This hotel is in a perfect location if you visit Lanta. If you don’t have heavy suitcases, you could walk there from the ferry doc… otherwise, like us, you could catch a tuk tuk to the hotel but it’s less than a 5 minute drive. There is a 7 Eleven and another shop called Lanta Mart within a two minute walk from the hotel and an evening market selling all sorts of local food and clothing type stores as well. There are also two restaurant/pubs. We hired scooters and rode across the island to the Old Town which was worth a visit… stopping for drinks at a viewpoint along the way… The hotel has big rooms and a huge swimming pool plus an additional small pool as well and you can walk onto a beach from the hotel. Breakfast was good and catered for everyone’s needs. The best part of the hotel was the staff… they were outstanding… The rooms were big and clean…

The beach wasn’t the prettiest - so we spent more time in the pool and exploring the island. Even though the rooms were big and clean, the TV’s were on the older side and only one news channel was in English.

I have mixed feelings about this hotel. Let me start with highlights: the view is beautiful, the pool is clean and sorroundind garden is very well mantained. We had a pool access room and it was great. The staff is very polite and friendly. Breakfast was ok and the view from restaurant was great. The location is very good too: a few steps away from night market and many restqurants, stores, food stands all the life. The sea view is wonderful, you can swim in the sea till about 2 pm, then it's low tide time, but it's not a problem, you can walk along the shore, watch the beautiful sunset and enjoy the view of boats returning to harbor. The beds are comfortable, the sheets are clean.

The hotel needs maintenance. Each day there was some repair work going on, emitting disturbing sounds, but the place needs thorough renovation. The bathroom wasn't dirty but wasn't clean either, the window in the bathroom was very dirty looked like it wasn't cleaned for years, the walls were dirty and needed fresh paint, the bedpost was scratched.The hotel has great potential. If it was only given a thorough clean up and renovation.

Amazing hotel. The staff were the most friendly and helpful folks we met on the entire trip! We were right on the beach and really enjoyed the easy access to walk down on the sand or setup our hammocks in the palm trees and watch the sun set. The pool was open the entire time and was a wonderful way to cool off a little after a long day. Many little geckos and hermit crabs if you know where to look. Scooter rentals via the hotel worked wonderfully for us to use for a few days during our stay. We were withing very easy walking distance of many many dive shops which was perfect!

We were a little far from most of the bars in the area, so expect a longer walk or a scooter ride in order to join in with the local night life. This was actually fine for us, as it meant the hotel itself was nice and quiet when we wanted to settle down for the night.

The staff are this resort’s greatest asset, very one of them. Smiling, friendly and very helpful. We moved rooms away from the swimming pool area into the older building overlooking the sea/estuary, where the views were incredible and it was so peaceful and quiet. The room was a bit older, but the views made up for it.

The only down side was the very hard beds, but the lovely cleaners soon organised mattress toppers for us. The swimming pool area hasn’t enough sun beds, those it does have are out of bounds for anyone who isn’t up at the crack of dawn, people rushing out to put towels on them and they keep those beds all day. The pool is small and people just stand in there talking. The other pool by the building is cooler and better for swimming, but hardly any sun beds and never any available.

We had a wonderful stay at Lanta Pura Beach Resort! The location is perfect—right on the beach and close to Saladan Pier, making it easy to explore the island. The rooms are clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with beautiful views of the sea and the lush garden. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, always going the extra mile to ensure guests feel welcome and comfortable. The pool area is a highlight, offering a relaxing atmosphere with plenty of sun loungers. Breakfast was varied and delicious, with something for everyone. We also appreciated the resort’s peaceful vibe, which made it a perfect getaway for both relaxation and adventure. I highly recommend Lanta Pura for anyone visiting Koh Lanta—it exceeded our expectations and made our trip unforgettable!

We really enjoyed our stay at Lanta Pura. Firstly the staff are simply charming, so helpful, very professional and hospitable. Lek in the restaurant, and Bee at the Front Desk were fantastic and really friendly. Loved the location, close to the pier, markets, shops and excellent fish restaurants. Good pool area, and easy access to the beach, and sandbar. Great value for money for a deluxe double room with a pool/sea view. Thank you again.

For a three star hotel, all was acceptable. If I was picky perhaps better towels would be good. Hopefully we will be back to stay at Lanta Pura in the future.

The location and our room were both perfect. We stayed for nine nights. The staff was absolutely amazing. Having access to the pool right from our room was perfect. The breakfast was plentiful and varied. It had Thai options as well as traditional Western breakfast options. Close to everything, night market, grocery store, massage, scuba diving. You can rent scooters directly from the hotel. People have complained about the beach in front. We found it suited our needs just fine. When the tide was out, we would walk out onto the sand bar and even got close enough to swim to the island in front of the hotel.

There were a couple of areas that could be cleaned up along the water. There was a small channel that ran along the front of the hotel that is in urgent need of clean up.

Greeted with a drink & welcoming staff who spoke good English. The view when you arrive! Wow! Room was spacious and although i had booked a twin room by mistake the beds where comfy. Cleaning staff very pleasant. Kettle with tea/coffee in room, 2 free bottles of water per day & Fridge. Shampoo and shower gel provided. Also a hair dryer. Pool towels. Seems most rooms have a sea view & what a view. Koh Lanta is a dream. Pool is lovely and warm and there was always a sunbed available. Make sure when you turn out of hotel that you go left as wellat some point as we had last night syndrome when we discovered a load of restaurants & a few bars along this side of the water front. Go to the Frog as welk, the garden is an amazing area to eat. Although there is a great vibe on walking st with the night market, there r nit many bars gere. The night market is a good vibe. Mainly most people head to bars on da long beach such as Jasmines & majestic. 100 thb to get there and all bars along their for sunset into evening. The boogie bar (regaee bar) and the indian are good. We went to the hippy bar one night for a drum and base night too. Also to get to koh lanta id pick the ferrry over the drive. We were squashed in on way there from ao nang and vost 500thb, we got the ferry back which was so much nicer seeing all the islands and scenery and 700thb, value for money and port on 5 mins from hotel. . Koh lanta you where a dream! Thanks staff at Lanta pura .

Staff are very friendly.. They serve you halal breakfast and food.. Most of the staffs are Thai Muslim.. Ms.Bee is the best!! She is the receptionist.. She will help you with anything. The location is very accessible.. Can walk to 7eleven, seafood restaurant, money changer only at front of the hotel road, mini supermarket, morning market, street market at night.. Hotel have no elevator that's all.. Others I give 5stars!!

the staff are absolutely incredible especially Bee on the front desk! The location is right on the beach and is also right by the walking street! the reception were amazing at helping book us a scooter and a day trip to some islands. the tv also has connection to netflix and amazon prime which was cool!

there isn’t enough pool loungers. if you want to get a lounger you need to go early as you will be out of luck around lunch time. the walls are also very thin in the rooms and unfortunately we had a lot of arguments and slamming of doors from our neighbours very early in the morning so it wasn’t the most relaxing sleep. the wifi does not reach the rooms either, we found sitting by the pool was the best wifi spot but we had to use our own internet for the rooms
