Aloha Lanta is about 10 min walk from the ferry pier and is in the town centre with all the amenities beside you . 7/11,restaurants and markets right beside you and you are looking out onto a lovely beach. This hotel is owned by a lovely family, Mum,Dad and son Peter snd it has such a lovely family atmosphere.

No facilities to lounge or relax - perhaps a sun chair or two to enjoy the beach would be good!

The Aloha is located near the markets and the wharf with a tidal beach - low tide yields sand bars that you can walk along; high tide yields enough depth near the shore to do some swimming (making up for the lack of a pool). The room was comfortable although it did not look like the photos, which are more decorated than the actual room. Good bed, good water pressure, amazing view (we were on the 3rd floor). There’s a really good restaurant right across the street, Sea Sand Soul. Highly recommend it especially at sunset. What makes the stay exceptional is the owners. It’s family run and Peter, their son, is beyond helpful and attentive. Even before we arrived he was answering questions we had and arranging transport. When we got there we felt “at home,” unusual for any hotel stay. He helped with activities and recommendations without it feeling pushy. He genuinely wants guests to make the most of their time. He and his mom and dad made our stay extra special.

The rooms are a bit dated. The air conditioning a bit loud. Access to beach through adjacent hotel.

The establishment is family-run, which is its strong point because everyone is very kind and extremely attentive to the needs of the guests. You can use the kettle on the ground floor for free to make yourself a coffee or tea. The beach in front is affected by significant tides, so you can easily go for a swim or walk for several hundred meters (perhaps almost a kilometer) during low tide. However, it is not suitable for lying on a beach towel, as the sand always remains wet. “Long Beach” is reachable by bicycle in about 15 minutes. One of the advantages of being near the port (7 minutes walking distance), but in front of the see, is that in just a minute and a half, you can reach the supermarket or go out for dinner, with numerous restaurants, street food stalls, and other dining options available. The establishment certainly requires some improvements, but the owner, from Peter to his parents, are always willing to address any issues or requests, making you feel right at home.

Certainly, there are some improvements to be made: adding an electrical plug near the bed and providing a bedside lamp for a comfortable evening read. Refreshing the bathroom and replacing the shower with one that has an adjustable showerhead. Installing proper blackout curtains.

Accommodation is on excellent location for travel and tour excursions. In front of the hotel is a beautiful beach and during low tide you get long sand stroud to walk almost to neighbouring island or all the way around pillar houses. The hotel owner is kind and welcoming to all guest requests and help with booking tours or rentals for the best prices. Place dosenoffer breakfast or any tipe of food service but you can always just leave hotel and across street find amazing whole day open place for deliciousbites( also owner recomendatipn). All together this place is excellent value for money and one of our best accommodations on this holiday. We will definitely be back at Aloha Lanta..

Missed room cleaning service, I would like my sheets to be changed daily, but this can also be personal preference.

Peter the manager was brilliant. Made sure we were happy and told us loads of places to visit Sorted out mopeds for us and washing Location was brilliant just round the corner from night market, restaurants and shops but still in a quiet location. Room and balcony nice and big Shower pressure good When you arrive you can ask for kettle, hairdryer etc and take coffee and tea sachets everyday to room

My bed was a bit hard and it had a wood frame tha5 stuck out all the way round which I banged my leg and cut it twice. I didn’t complain so Peter did not know as I’m sure he would off tried to sort, but everything else was so lovely.

Staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful. They arranged scooter hire, laundry, excursions and connections all in a helpful and friendly manner. It is clearly a family run hotel and you get the feel of being welcomed in. Value for money was excellent, the room was to exactly the standard to which we paid. Location is excellent - close enough to restaurants, bars and shops etc but whilst feeling slightly detached from the noise we had a peaceful night sleep each night we stayed. Also being right on the front of a quiet beach is lovely, with waterfront restaurants nearby also to enjoy

everything was fine and pleasant. good location - quiet for sleeping but still close near the shops and restaurants. It's directly on a beach but sometimes the tide is very high and the sandy part is covered up. but much of the time there is plenty of sand and you can walk a long way on the shore or choose to swim. Other beaches are not far and it's easy to hire a scooter and explore. I recommend this family-run hotel

Well-appointed, spotlessly clean room in a charming little hotel by the sea. Five minute walk to the night market with lots of affordable food options. Peter and the entire staff were warm and welcoming, and responded to our needs and many questions with limitless patience and grace. My girlfriend and I felt as though we were visiting family. We absolutely loved and highly recommend Aloha Lanta!

We loved our stay at Aloha and wish we could have extended our trip by several more weeks! Without a doubt the two biggest draws are the amazing location and the wonderful family who runs the guesthouse. They were endlessly helpful and attentive to even the smallest details and needs. We will miss waking up each morning to a beautiful peaceful ocean view with nothing but the sounds of nature. Thank you and see you again!

It would be nice if there were some beach chairs available to sit by the water :)
