Great location, clean rooms, cleaned every day. Good restaurant with reasonable prices. Nice staff.

The dog was aggressive and was allowed to roam free. There was a sign saying don't touch him he's aggressive, but he shouldn't have been allowed to roam around public areas if he's that bad. No fridge in the room. There was no place to put away clothes or bags only 1 little wardrobe, so the room always looked untidy. Lots of signs with rules , no outside food or drink, no trespassing, to get through to the beach or you'll be fined. Only guests can use sun loungers or you'll be fined.

I had the lowest price bungalow. Nice vibe to the resourt. It has a bit of character. Comfortable bed, fan was enough. Small bathroom but did the job no problem. Room cleaned and bed made every day. Lovely patio. Great breakfast. Fab location very near choice of resturants, a lovely supermarket that hired out bicycles! A must. Didn't eat at the resourt apart from breakfast, which was very good. Great location on the beach. There are plenty of bars around an easy walk. Lovely place. Yes, the signs telling you the cost of breakages are there, but what's wrong with that? The grumpy dog was no problem if you ignored it, it didn't stray far from it's spots near reception. I only heard it bark once and it was soon made quiet! They arranged a tuk tul to bring me and return me to the ferry. All the guests I met were friendly. Lovely massage hut on the beach.

Didn't like that I had to leave.

We stayed for 6 nights to relax and that's what we got! The location was perfect, the staff was very kind and helpful and the price is right for what you get. There are a lot of little restaurants and little grocery shops in the close proximity. They have motorbikes for rent for a good price and no deposit if you are a guest. They also clean the Bungalow every day.

The Bungalow we chose was very basic, with no AC and no mini fridge. If you prefer to have these amenities, you better choose the other type of bungalows.

I had a wonderful short stay in a standard bungalow. The location is so beautiful right by the beach and in a very green area. The accomodation standard is really ok for the price - it’s not modern but really for the price is enough - you got a nice bed, a fan, clean private bathroom, a small terrace for so little money. The staff is AMAZING, from the owners to waitresses and a driver. They were so nice to us! Also, the property’s restaurant has a nice variety of delicous dishes and good prices. Having Thai breakfast by the sea was a great experience. The beach is also super nice for swimming, relaxing in the shadow, or a walk.

Some small improvements would be nice - new chairs by the bungalows, new window curtains, just details if there’s no money for big renovations. But I really liked the place!!!

Being right on the beach, central location. Restaurant and bar good, reasonable prices.

Our first room was older, very basic, but comfortable enough. It had a fan, no Aircon, no hot water, and no space for toiletries in the bathroom It's age and amenity was reflected in the price. We moved for our last two nights, still in the back section of the resort,but this room was more spacious, air-conditioned ,fan and hot water. Space to put toiletries and a screen door. I think the bed was bigger, a more comfortable room.

Property is directly on the beach. The beach was glorious, walk a long a bit to avoid the rocks and easy to swim. All the rooms are garden facing except two rooms at the front. Very lovely location surrounded by trees and flowers and bird song. Restaurant was great for breakfast/lunch or dinner. We also visited other restaurants and found all to be good quality. No doubt the food here was very tasty.

The mattresses could use replacing or toppers. They had been over used so not as comfy.

Great happy guest vibe. Super-efficiently run resort right on beautiful safe swimming beach (& wedged between much higher end resorts) Clearly a favourite with returning guests booking for longer stays. We would have preferred a higher-spec room but nothing available at short notice. However the basic chalet was clean and exceptional value for money for such a delightful beachfront resort location. Range of restaurants & bars nearby and so much to do and explore on this special island.

Quiet location right by the beach, which, wasn't busy. The restaurant offered a good selection of food, and the staff were all very polite and helpful. The location was in close proximity to good restaurants with tasty food.

The rooms including bathrooms could do with being modernized. Plug sockets next to the beds would be very useful to charge electronic devices rather than having to charge them on the other side of the room.

Everything! It has been the perfect stay, in fact I keep on extending because I love it so much here. 3 nights turned into 5 and I am sad to leave! What makes it so special is the staff, from the cleaners and waiting staff to the receptionist. They take such good care of this place and the grounds are beautiful with plans and trees. Also the location is perfect, right on a beautiful calm beach in the middle of the island with a choice of bars and restaurants in walking distance serving some of the best food I’ve had in Thailand. You can rent a motorbike from the property for a good price too to explore the rest of the island

Nothing! No aircon but managed perfectly fine with fan. Some snorkelling equipment to hire would be great

Right on Golden Pearl Beach which is superb! The restaurant/food exceptional value and delicious! Staff and front desk are very helpful - transportation to/from the pier is a great choice. Plenty of bungalows, the basic ones are budget however clean and very peacefully set in the back jungle area.

Basic bungalow mattresses are bit uncomfortable but that's par for the budget :). Could use more hammocks throughout the property grounds.
