Spending six days at Koh Jum Resort was a unique and memorable experience. The setting itself is breathtakingly beautiful, with every single bungalow offering an uninterrupted view of the ocean. The architecture and design of the bungalows blend seamlessly with the natural surroundings, creating an atmosphere of peace and tranquillity. However, what truly sets Koh Jum Resort apart is its stunning location and the people who run it. The resort manager and his exceptionally service-minded staff go far beyond the ordinary in their dedication to making guests feel welcome and cared for. Their attentiveness is remarkable—they always seem one step ahead, anticipating needs before they are expressed. Every interaction is infused with genuine warmth and thoughtfulness, making the stay feel effortless and delightful. It’s rare to come across a place where beauty, comfort, and hospitality unite perfectly. Koh Jum Resort is not just a destination; it’s an experience that leaves a lasting impression.

Six days was not enough:-)

Amazing location in a more secluded island. Loved the relaxed atmosphere and the privacy of this resort. You have the beach right downstairs and also the hotel's restaurant by the beach. The rooms are made of wood and it add to the whole island charm. We got into Krabi airport and had to take a taxi, a boat, and another taxi to get to the resort. We rented a motorbike at the reception once there and moved around the island quite easily.

The only downside was the final stretch of road leading to the resort. It's unpaved, so it was a bit challenging to navigate in and out with the bike. Another point to mention is the pool – the water was quite warm, and the smell wasn't the best. A little chlorine would go a long way to improve it.

We stayed at Koh Jum Resort for five nights as part of our family trip to Thailand. Here is a summary of our experience: - Very quiet and relaxing location. The island itself is much quieter with much less tourists than Koh Phi Phi and Railay Beach. - Food at the resort was good and we ate most meals on site. The beach bbq at night was a great. - Staff were extremely nice and helpful - the resort is geographically well situated to enjoy an Koh phi phi island tour and or go to Railay Beach. - perfect for kids to play on the beach, hunt for shells, chase crabs and watch the monkeys. If you are looking for relaxation away from the hustle of other tourist spots, this is a great spot.

We had a delightful time at Koh Jum Resort. It is a very authentic place on a hill side located in a pristine bay. The staff, even for Thai standards, is beyond hospitable and accommodating. Upon early arrival they allowed us to join breakfast (although it usually isn't included on the arrival day itself) and made the stay with our toddler more than what we could wish for. A special mention for the resident manager Aom, she made sure we were happy and comfortable. She helped us out with our questions and requests, always very kind and customer oriented. Our accommodation was fantastic, the deluxe villa with a bubble bath, overlooking the sea, full privacy, was a true pampering experience on our trip through Thailand. We would 100% recommend it! Traveling as a family with a child of 4 years of age, all we needed was on premise. Building sand castles at the beach, all toys available to just pick up and play. Plenty of sun beds available. The pool. We also enjoyed the little library they have, with books to read during your stay. Delicious food, tasty cocktails. Rich breakfast, including eggs, pancakes, tuna salad, rice with chicken and vegetables, various sauces, sausages, bread with ham, butter, jams, various cereals with milk, various juices, coffee, tea. Seafood BBQ for dinner on the beach. Beautiful sunsets.

The road to get there is adventurous but the taxi drivers are very skilled at navigating it.

We stayed at Koh Jum Resort for about three weeks. Since we haven't booked beforehand we had to make multiple bookings in four different types of rooms that they have on the resort and also had to book a few nights in a nearby resort due to full occupancy (however, we always came back to Koh Jum as we found it to be of better value). Every single room we had stayed in was great. Some of the rooms have the most incredible seaview you will ever see, others are huge in size, have a beautiful bath, a lovely balcony or beautiful little details (and every single one of them has a very big double bed). One of the rooms that we stayed in felt a bit too hot at night time. Once we raised the issue with management they got the Aircon technician the next day and serviced the Aircon unit which made a big difference for the remainder of our stay. The resort is managed very effectively, everything runs smoothly, all the staff do their jobs without hesitation, in a timely and friendly manner. We stayed with our three year old daughter and everyone accommodate us as much as they could. On a few occasions we had ordered our food at the restaurant and asked for it to be delivered to our room which is very nice when the toddler gets just a bit too tired. The food in the resort restaurant was also the best of all the options available on this beach. All in all, we had a wonderful stay and hope to return in the future.

We came to Thailand with a hope to find a little slice of paradise further away from the crowds and that is exactly what we found on Koh Jum. We stayed in a few different accomodation establishments and went to view a few more before we found Koh Jum Resort which has fulfilled all the requirements for our stay. The resort is a bit out of the way but possible to reach on a scooter or a taxi. We made a few trips on foot to the nearby villages for some shopping (fruits, milk, water, treats) but it is possible to stay on the adjacent beach for an extended time as the food in the restaurant really is fantastic and comparable to other prices in this area. We have really enjoyed working our way through the menu 😍 That said, we have also been visiting the Koh Jum Relax restaurant for some variety. Also, the cleaning staff are like ninjas, waiting to freshen up the rooms everyday. We would spend the mornings on the beach and return to a spotless room. The ability to use canoes free of charge was a very nice touch as well. We hope to return one day 🙏

First and foremost, it's the staff that makes this place so lovely. Every single one of them was smiley, friendly and very helpful. Yes, the bungalow we stayed in has seen better days, but it was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The aircon and fridge worked well, and the view from the balcony was amazing. I don't know why so many people seem to expect every accommodation to be brand new and sparkling - we need to remember that this is a country/region still recovering from zero tourist income for several years during covid! The pool area was small, but lovely. We had the space to ourselves most days, with people preferring to sit at the beach. The beach around the resort was clean, and the water nice and safe to swim in. The gardens around the resort are well maintained, and it's clear the staff take pride in making the resort a welcoming environment. Following heavy rain, the access road was difficult to navigate and we opted not to rent a scooter to leave the resort. However, it was actually really lovely to spend a few days just enjoying the peace. The breakfast offering was adequate, and the food from the restaurant was all delicious.

The price point feels a little high when compared with other resorts in the area.

Peacefull, quiet, relaxed resort surrounded by a tropical forrest with monkeys to be spotted and the calming sound of the waves of the sea surround you day- and night! It gives an authentic “ back to basic” feeling to stay in the lovely cottages. Great Thai food is served all day, lovingly prepared by the incredible kind and helpfull staff! manager Mitao does everything to make your stay a memorable and unique experience! Arrival via the Koh Yum pier or directly per Longboat on resorts beach😀

The sound of the airco is a bit loud during the night.

An old, but well attended resort on the best beach on north west coast on Koh Jum. Very nice and helpful staff. Ok breakfast - very good seafood bbq or a la carte by or on beach every night. Some stairs and climbing in the location. Clean rooms with fridge and good a/c. Wifi ok in our bungalow. Kayak and SUP available and sunbeds on beach. We stayed five nights and recommend this place.

Only toilet in common areas is up in reception. The resort is rather isolated - nearest minimarket is 20-30 min away by foot. Ask for a hike with hotel car.

10/10! Absolutely amazing stay! The stuff was kind, helpful - while renting a scooter, arranging the boat to Ko Phi Phi or sharing advices - top of the top! Everything was clean including Villa, swimming pool etc. Simple but delicious breakfasts, great thai food and coctails in the restaurant. Beach is right next to the resort (it's rocky, so we weren't swimming). Greenery, beautiful plants everywhere. A lot of animals!

Two things to be aware of (it wasn't a problem for us at all and actually WE LOVED IT, but it's better to know before you go!): 1. Animals - lovely, peeping geckos in the evening and loud monkeys in the night on the roof. You can spot a mouse on the path or a scorpio on the beach. 2. Roads - to travel around the island you need to rent a scooter (which is a cheap and great adventure!). Also there was a landslide nearby, so if you have suitcases, you should get a 4WD car from the pier to get to the resort. Take those into consideration and your stay will also be 10 points!
