I surprised my wife by booking one night in this charming hotel in the French country side of Normandy, leaving the kids to friends, and we absolutely loved it. The site is just unique: a beautiful French style 18th century castle in a beautiful park. This hotel has its own restaurant next door in an old barn that serves creative and delicious French food. The environment is really quiet and romantic. Our room was recently renovated and it was cosy and comfortable. We left in the morning after a good French style breakfast (fresh coffee, pastries and jam) with a smooth checkout. We felt very welcome by the staff and we will definitely come back and take more time to visit the surroundings.

You just need a car to get there.

Great setting. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Restaurant was excellent- great menu choice with lovely ambiance. Dog friendly. Room was comfortable and quiet. Look out for the white rabbit!!!

Felt room price should have included breakfast. Otherwise good value for what you get.

Lovely pretty location, secure, hotel booked a taxi for us to eat at local town as arrived Sunday and restaurant at hotel was not open. Very pretty local town.

It would have been nice to have access to a bar / restaurant but understand and staff very happy to help arrange a reservation.

Everything :) Just everything. A super luxurious hotel. We are excited. Everything was just right here. Thank you for the nice staff at the reception. We had a great stay and thanks for the romantic surprise in the room. The revised breakfast offer and the beautification of the room worked great. Sustainable and delicious side dishes alongside great food and friendly service.

Wow, why can I say, after the hustle of my previous few weeks it was so nice to get here, simply stunning, cheeky rabbit hopping around, amazing staff all round, great food at the restaurant 6/5 stars, I will be back for sure

That I had to leave sadly

Fabulously restful setting with everything we needed on site, including a beautifully set out breakfast each morning in a lovely light, bright breakfast room with big windows overlooking the gardens. Or you could have your breakfast IN the garden. I come back to this place for rest & recuperation, and it does not disappoint! Bravo to it’s staff team who kept it going through Covid.

Room could do with updating

Food was plentiful and surroundings very clean making it a pleasant experience

Would have liked too see some older furniture in the bedroom, for example the bed.

Beautiful Chateau Comfy Beds, pillows, sheets. Pleasant staff. Hard working in the hotel and the restaurant. Everyone was smiling. Bunnies, chickens, goat!

I would have liked a cooked egg breakfast and some fresh fruit (not banana) with breakfast. But overall everything was lovely. We enjoyed our stay.

It was ok and grounds fairly well kept but grass should have been cut shorter

Bathroom poor quality - i,e, door handle falling off and needed painting. Pity having to walk to restaurant.............
