The room overlooked a little plaza which was one of the main meeting places for the town. The owner was extremely helpful, and the food was good.

The beds (two singles - how romantic) were not very comfortable. For God's sake don't trust Google Maps for directions to the hotel! By all means contact the hotel directly to get directions on where to park (you can't drive to the front of the hotel, much less park there).

attractive old building with interesting corners. I had good views of the village and countryside. The double bed was comfortable and the chambermaid caring. it’s only 5 min walk from the bus stop. I had a good meal at the restaurant belonging to the hotel. There is a wealth of brochures on villages in the Axarquia.There are board games provided.

The bathroom is two very steep steps up from the room.There was nowhere safe to boil the kettle. 4 tea bags, a sugar and no milk.There were 3 flights of steps to reach my room and I had to go down 2 to reach the fridge.

A lovely small hotel in the main square. Room was comfortable and quaint. Loved the straw based ceiling. Staff were helpful and friendly. Gustavo is a gem. Restaurant over the road run by the hotel was good. Breakfast ladies could not do enough for us. Beautiful views from the restaurant across the mountains and towards the sea.

Too short a stay

We were attending a party in the plaza so it was the perfect place to stay. The room was extremely comfortable and clean with a huge walk in shower We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast in the plaza before our departure.

Very helpful staff and very charming room in a great location The restaurant dinner was a very enjoyable experience too.

Unique hotel in a tiny Andalusian village - as authentic as it gets.

It's a bit hard to carry heavy luggage all the way up to the 3rd floor (where our room was)... but consider it some kind of work-out (for free).

Everything was great Staff very friendly and welcoming, as was the owner also Food superb, could not fault it. 😊

Beautiful location in centre of scenic mountain village.

Wonderful receptionist spoke perfect English and went out of her way to show us where to park. Location perfect on the square. Room and bathroom clean and comfortable and air conditioning a bonus in a heat wave.
