Clean and very calm and serene. The staff are exceptional especially Delfina who was always ready to help and provided all information needed. Just across the road from the best beach in town with stunning sunsets. There is a supermarket and also loads of cafes and sodas within walking distance that are amazing. Morning coffee provided which was very good. I extended my stay here and would defina stay here again.

There is a bit of a walk (20 min) to the bars that’s are functional in the evenings. I rented a bike which solved the problem so no big deal.

I planned to stay for 3 nights and I stayed longer. I was in a dorm going towards the inner court yard, so there was not too much noise from the street and I slept well. The staff is very friendly. The room was cleaned every day and my bed was made every day, which I found really a great service for a hostel. The kitchen is well equipped and it was clean. The location is great, close to the beach and many shops and restaurants. The garden is nice too. I would definetly stay there again.

There were 2 coakroaches in my room when I came, but I told the cleaning ladies and they desinfected everything and then they were gone, so it was not a problem (also my roommate had stayed there for several weeks and he told me that he never saw them before). That was the only small issue, but it was solved quickly, so I would definetly stay there again.

The rooms are big with good light and great balcony, the staff is super nice and helpful, always replied fast and the location is great! The common area is exactly as in the pictures, really pretty and so nice to chill with your group! One of the best places to be at Santa Teresa for sure!

It only accepts cash payments (which we knew before booking), not the best water pressure for the final showers (we were 4 people in each room), we didn’t have hot water for one day of the stay (the staff was super helpful and fixed it for the next day) and we had power blackouts on two mornings for a small period of time but enough to make the room feel hot and wake us up (we were there for peak season and don’t know if the entire part of town was affected). The rooms could use a minibar, the common fridge is usually packed.

The property was exceptionally clean and very comfortable. We had a spacious room, which was wonderful after our travels, and we even received an upgrade to a room with a balcony. The location was ideal, situated in the heart of Santa Teresa, close to both the beach and various restaurants. The staff was also very helpful.

We had to pay to refill our water bottles which was quite expensive compared to the shop next door.

The room is amazing. I had more than enough space and the terrasse was also spacious. Super clean and in the perfect location. Kitchen and outside area is also clean and well equipped. I would book it again.

The reception is open between 9-12 and 15-18, but the receptionist was not holding their hours. The receptionist let me wait 30min in the morning, although I wrote her the evening before that I will be there at 9:00 and I was missing my business calls because I had my Backpack inside. She didnt even slightly apologize as she arrived. Super bad service. On the other hand they are super exact with the time when it comes to closing the reception at 18:00 or check out. I was 5min late for my check-out and they were already at my door. I think either they should be easy both ways or just hold the reception hours, especially when the opening time of the reception is already limited. If I would have to take a buss this morning I would have missed it.

Good location, there’s a kitchen which helps cut down costs in such an expensive town… and staff are nice.

The front desk staff weren’t always available/there. The hostel can be noisy but I don’t think that’s their fault as there are signs saying to respect the quiet hours (but American tourists clearly don’t read or don’t understand how to communicate without yelling)

Very nice stay here at Point Break. The staff is friendly: they even have us a free upgrade which was so so kind! Room was clean and facilities were good. Only downside was the pillows: these were not really comfortable at all. But still would stay since the location is also good but if you have a room facing the road it might be noisy. We didn’t have that.

Staff were really helpful and lovely! Cleaning staff found an item I didn’t realise I’d lost and returned it to me! Really good location. Really good night’s sleep there, liked having a balcony overlooking the communal area, and liked that there was a fridge we could use and coffee on tap all day! Room nice and big and had air on.

Safe didn’t work and door lock issues.

The location is perfect, near the beach, cafes, supermarkets and stores. The room was simple but very clean and spacious. It even had a huge balcony that was really nice. The shower was great, with lots of space and high water pressure. I highly recommend this stay.

We stayed 5 nights at Point Break and it was great! We loved the nice location that allowed us to explore Santa Teresa, going to the beach, doing yoga, eating well. We used the shared kitchen everyday, and it was perfect to make breakfast & lunch. The room is simple but with everything you need. We booked a room upstairs with a balcony which was perfect for more privacy. The staff was always super friendly and the place was always super clean. I had to work during our stay and Wifi was good speed and stable. Definitely recommend this place.

A little bit more details for comfort in the room would be a plus. But it's simple comfortable as it is.
