The hotel is very well-located. Just across the street you reach the Akigawa station and a family mart which has ATM machine. The bus stop and taxi stand is just right in front of the hotel. Walking one block away (5mins), you can find Tokyu Mall with supermarket, McDonald and Daiso. The neighbourhood is nice and there are many places for eating out.

The neighbourhood is just in the outskirt area of Tokyo. If you plan to travel to famous tourist destinations, this is not the area you want to stay. It will take around 1.5-2hrs. to get to famous city like Ueno, Shinjuku or Shibuya. I booked this place because I had to do some business around this area. Another thing is that not all the staff can speak English. It gets difficult communicating to them when you need help on something.

Location is great, it is 100 meters from the station exit. Very convenient if you are going to sight see around Akigawa.

A minor complaint: If you want your room cleaned, then you have to stay out from 10 am to 3 pm. it was not a problem for me because I came to sight see. but 5 hours is a bit much.

It has two washing machines (¥200) and two tumble dryers (¥100 per 10min).

I was traveling with my son (aged 14) but because there were no twin rooms I had to book two single rooms, which was fine, but they put us in two separate floors, 3F and 5F. I requested to be on the same floor when I made the booking. The staff didn’t seem concerned at all - her attitude was ‘we are a cheap hotel, what do you expect?’

The breakfast area was so tiny and crowded. I’m concerned about covid19 in such a cramped area. There was no way to heat the croissants. Parking was very limited on site but I paid 300 yen to park nearby overnight.

Bed was super uncomfortable, almost like a rollaway cot. I left after one night and forfeited the 2nd night reservation.
