The stay was good, late check-in and early check-out worked. The room was okay, the beds were comfy. Neat location. The messages I received from the hotel weeks in advance telling me to check in online lead to (different) sketchy URLs, and I think nobody should enter their data there. It all worked out without using these pages.

This hotel has an old style and gives an almost museum feeling. It is in the middle of nowhere but comes out as a wonderful oasis. We got one room facing the pond, and one room facing the road. We would definately recomend facing the pond, where we could watch ducks stroling around, turtles and fish in the pond, and a refreshing balcony to enjoy the morning breeze. We got some great burgers in the restaurant for brekfast.

It was clean enough, but nothing more. Waterpressure in the shower was almost useless, but we survived. The place had a great soul, which covered for the odd improvement :-)

Amazing surrounding of the Inn, with small lake, ducks and gooses. Decent restaurant inside the inn with good beer and wine. We asked change of room to one with balcony and got it with appropriate extra fee. We have choosen this inn for overnight stay because we couldn't believe that such object is built in the meedle of nowhere, in the desert just few hundred meters from California border. It is worth to visit it!

We didn't take breakfast because you can only choose any meal from the menu at full price. Actually, average breakfast is over 20$ per person. Small shop in the inn has very poor choice of food.

We did a roadtrip around Californai and by far, Longstreet Inn & Casino was my favourite place to stay. Our room was large and had a terrific locked in historical charm about it. Yes, there is a casino, but it's small and not intrusive. I absolutely loved the 70s, 80s, 90s paraphernalia everywhere, loved the landscaped outdoor area, loved the farm animals, it had a restaurant and mini-mart on site. But best of all, if you're coming from Death Valley National Park, driving the extra 8 mins from Death Valley Junction was not an issue.

Very cool, affordable place to stay outside of Death Valley. The casino is small, but within it, there are ALOT of old, interesting items from the area (think of furniture, pictures etc...even an old bar). We had breakfast at the resturant and it was amazing. Our room was comfy and I liked the convience type story in the casino which had alot of food, liquor and snack options. The casino bar was good and affordable. There were a TON of things to explore outside (old church, lake, sculptures) but it was rainy and cool when we were there.

The room was comfy, but stuffy and warm. I wanted to turn on the AC, but it didn't seem right to do that when it's 40 degrees outside. There's really nothing else to do near here. There was a bar across street but it was open only on weekend.

We booked last minute for 2 nights to see Death Valley NP - which is around 40 min drive. It was beginning of Dec, and so great time to see the National Park. The room had 2 queen beds and it was spacious (2nd floor). It had a second sink outside the bathroom. There is an elevator to the second floor, however the elevator is such that you still have 8 to 10 stairs to go to your room (or any room on second floor, I think). The rooms are non smoking but had a strange cleaning agent smell. We had to open the window for an hour to get the smell out / or adjust to the smell. The rooms have small fridge. You have access to microwave in the "convenience store" where you can also buy snacks and drinks. The second night, we had veggie pizza from the restaurant there, which was pretty good. The gas station is right by the property. It is a good place to stay, if visiting the NP and can't find lodging inside the park.

We stayed 2 nights. I had driven 8 hours to reach there in the late evening, and unfortunately between 12;30 AM to 4:40 AM, the smoke alarm kept on beeping loudly more than 7 different times. I couldn't sleep and had a severe headache because of the screeching loud noise all through the night. The next night, the hotel staff, compensated us (after I asked, and they could see I had called 7 different times when the alarm had went off) by giving us free veggie pizza and soft drink. The second night was quiet - thank God.

If you are looking for a standard chain hotel, then Longstreet Inn is not for you. We like places with character, which is why we liked the Longstreet Inn so much. Although centered around a casino, which we weren't interested in, the Inn is full of, and surrounded by, historical memorabilia which gives an interest and charm. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we enjoyed the meal. The shop is open 24 hours with free coffee on tap, the beds were comfortable and although it was a cold night, our rooms remained cosy. Would be a great base to use to explore the Death Valley National Park. Would definitely stay there again.

In general, I liked the hotel. Great value for money. A very atmospheric place, it is a kind of mix of a hotel, a museum and a casino. Like in the movie. It was interesting to see and feel that atmosphere. Comfortable, clean, quiet room. There is a restaurant for breakfast and dinner. I really liked the live music in the restaurant in the evening. Just a great backyard area with a lake and ducks. We are satisfied, interesting experience.

In principle, there are no serious comments or disadvantages

This was a convenient place to stay to visit Death Valley. There are not many hotels nearby and this one was only about a 30 minute drive to Zabriskie Point. There was a restaurant on site (which was decent) which was a good thing because there was nothing else nearby. On the weekend they had live music.

The facilities were dated and the room was showing its age.(though it was clean). In the description it said they had 2 restaurants, but only one was open, so it was the only option for breakfast and dinner.

I'm not a big casino person but I absolutely adored this place. It's much more authentic than Vegas; like time stood still which is a good thing - I wish more places like this existed. With just a short drive from Death Valley it has the perfect location as well. The room was bigger than I imagined, very clean, splendid bathroom and the vanity was a huge plus for me. The staff was super friendly but I of course fell in love with Jackpot the Casino cat. Although we visited mostly everything around there I will make it a life goal to visit this place again one day!
