The listing said air conditioning. There definitely was no air conditioning. Not even ceiling fans. Luckily it wasn’t too hot while we were there. Could use some modernization with the bathrooms. Our room safe didn’t work. No elevators.

Beautiful historical building. Very friendly staff. The rooms were very warm which was such a comfort in the chilly Xela evenings.

The typical breakfast included did not include any cheese or cream for the beans and/or plantains. The tortillas were made produced, thin, tasteless and cold. A big disappointment compared to the typical breakfast included at Lake Atitlan and in Antigua.

So many stairs without any elevators They put me on the fifth floor floor and most of the time the electronic key was not working and I had to get down the 5 stairs to ask for a new key at the reception and then I had to climb up the fifth floors to be able to finally get to my room This is horrible !!

Breakfast was good, the place is amazing! The owner and everyone very friendly. Our room cleaner, Yohana was very kind and efficient.

Lots of stairs without an elevator. No Parking in front. Dangerous and slippery street in front of the building. Very difficult to be picked up or to be returned to the hotel.. Can’t call on the phone (regular house phone) from the room. Dim lighting in the room, but they brought us another lamp.

Location was good but Saturday night was too close to discoteca, Beautiful building

Too many steps ,no lift . Twice we had people open the door without knocking and try to walk in

The staff were all so attentive and kind. I enjoyed everything about my stay. The location is right at the main square. The hotel is beautiful. The bed was comfortable and so were the pillows.

It is always my go to in Xela! Not only is the hotel historic and lovely the people make this a wonderful place to stay. There is a parking lot that is walled and very safe perfect for the traveler picking up and packing goods for work!

Because the hotel is across from central park, I was concerned about noise but our room was very quiet. The hotel is lovely and much bigger than I expected. Very clean, friendly staff and lovely decor.

Excellent location in the heart of the old town. Beautifully appointed hotel and staff extremely helpful and friendly.

The room was spacious, and newly remodeled. It was very quiet inside, no street noise. I liked the seating areas through the hotel, and the swimming pool was very nice.
