The location was perfect for a journey to Brussels to catch a flight. The accommodation offered a great mix of comfort, convenience, and hospitality, all surrounded by natural beauty. While I was a bit overly critical, I noticed that the electricity pylon lines were close by; however, this is beyond the owner's control. The breakfast was a bit unusual but enjoyable, with well-seasoned scrambled eggs and gorgeous waffles.

Breakfast, as I mentioned, was very good, but it wasn't our preference; we would have preferred a buffet breakfast. It would also be great if you could provide lunch or dinner. We asked the owner to book a meal at a local restaurant, but unfortunately, the meal was awful and disappointing. Overall, the experience was good, but it wasn't quite right for us.

Additionally, the host bakes a delicious cake daily, which is shared with the guests, adding a special touch to your stay. The location is also perfect for example a trip to Brussels. You can park for free at the train station in Merchten and take a train, which is only a 30-minute ride to the city. This convenience makes it an excellent base for exploring the area. Moreover, the B&B offers a very good internet connection, making it ideal for remote work. Whether you’re on a business trip or simply need to stay connected, you’ll find the internet speed reliable and efficient. Overall, this B&B provides a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and exceptional hospitality, surrounded by nature, making it an ideal choice for your stay.

I had a wonderful stay with a great welcome. The rooms are decorated with care and thoughts. The mattress and pillows were so comfortable I’ve taken the brand name and references for when I’m ready to buy new ones ! Went in town for some food through the pedestrian path. Lovely short walk that felt safe even at night on my own. Breakfast was just gorgeous. Go for the oats pancakes if you can, they are delicious 🤤

Staying at this wonderful, charming B & B has been one of the highlights of our stay in Belgium. The friendliness and warmth of the owners, make you feel right at home. The location is beautiful and you are able to relax instantly. Thank you so much, we will certainly be back!

Everything was perfect.There has been nothing that we disliked at all. We highly recommend this place.

Spacious rooms, comfortable beds, nice surroundings, great breakfast. What more can you ask for. Elke and Franky are are very nice, open and helpful hosts. Parking space is large, The place is pretty convenient as a base for trips to Benelux cities.

The host family was outstanding in terms of friendliness, attentiveness and concern for traveller comfort. We were greeted with a welcome drink and cake. The delicious cake ritual was a daily event. The breakfast was plentiful in terms of variety, quantity and freshness. Frankie (correct spelling?) makes some very nice pancakes. Thank you. The location was idyllic, quiet and relaxing in a residential area a little distance out of Brussels. The bedroom was modern, the bathroom of generous size with new fixtures. There is ample room for convenient outdoor parking right beside the accommodation. The beds were comfortable and if you enjoy a drink in the outdoors, there is undercover seating with a country view.

There is nothing not to like, unless you are looking for the noise, hustle, bustle and general inconvenience of tight city spaces. You won't find it here! Hooray!

The hosts were very friendly and flexible. I changed my booking 3 times and they helped me with the process. They also moved their check in time to accommodate our needs. Their breakfast was excellent. It was fresh and aboundant. I will return at that place definitely.

Amazing host, Nice breakfast, clean and well maintained beautiful rooms and property. Host was so kind to welcome us with some tasty homemade cheese cake.

Couldn’t think of any, may be washrooms could be more better ventilated and lit.

The stay was very nice, staff of the hotel were very welcoming and caring. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, rooms clean, authentic and cozy. We are very happy about our stay and recommend this hotel for others.

It seemed to be not that much lightening in the rooms. Could be more bright lights, but in general everything was fine.

The location is in a calm place. With beautiful surroundings.

It is necessary to have a car. It is remote yet near at the same time.
