The hotel is located close to the shopping mall, bus stop and park, spacious, comfortable room and bathroom.

I got quite an unpleasant surprise when we booked out and discovered that the quoted amount for the stay paid upfront through Booking. com, weren't the actual cost and that I still had to pay an additional +-300 euros for the 13 nights. Apparently, the rate changes from day to day, according to the room demand and whether it is the weekend. Would be nice if they could quote the actual cost, so there are no nasty surprises afterward..

on arrival we were dismayed that our 'deluxe' room had no opening windows and a noisy aircon machine and decor and lighting suitable for a bordello (a bit OTP on my part maybe). A request at the front desk for a room with opening windows was initially refused, but one member said a room in the new block had windows that open, and for a surcharge, we could have that. So arrangements were made and we got the room and no surcharge was added (I did my sweet talk routine of course). The new room was perfect for size and quiet and comfort, and oddly, a little less deluxe than the sombre room we were first offered. A very good shower room and as in most hotels the pillows were nonsense, but we always bring our own. The highlight of the stay was the restaurant. The food and the staff were first rate... mixing elegance, calm and friendliness. We declined breakfast for a picnic on the road.

The deluxe room was lifeless, airless, and noisy and dull.

The room we got was very large, bigger than the apartment we were staying in before passing through this hotel, maybe we got a family room, but definitely caught us off guard. The breakfast was also amazing with great egg, bacon options for a more traditional breakfast as well as having waffles, mini pancakes and so on. What is more the selection of fruit was incredible and everything seemed fresh. Even though a somewhat expensive hotel for one night, I would recommend a stay here.

Not much I did not like: - The door to the room was light, so you could hear some sounds from the hallway - Coming in late you are required for a receptionist to open the door for you, can't use a room key card for it, but they react pretty swiftly, so can't really complain much about that

The hotel would benefit from a little upkeeping of the outside, Our room as was really clean and spacious enough and standard toiletries for a 4 start hotel were present. Located opposite a large shipping center, finding a place to eat was easy and convenient. Good breakfast with several options (see my comments on price below) Friendly staff. Large parking and no issues finding a spot.

Pillows (always pillows) not comfortable enough. No water in the room, no coffee or tea amenities as we normally find on a 4 starts hotel. We did not book a breakfast with our rooms as we thought to go and have it somewhere else but as it was Sunday everything was closed. So we decided to pay for breakfast at the front desk. Although, breakfast was good and had enough options, 20 euros was overpriced as we usually pay between 12 and 15 euros when we stay at other 4 star hotels. I would not rate the hotel a 4 starts but a really good 3 starts.

Room , evening meal and breakfast were all very good. The position of the Hotel if good for an overnight stop if you are travelling by car from the UK to Germany, add the free spacious car park comfortable rooms and friendly staff and you have a good package. Meals in restaurant are good quality but also pricy, but packages are sometimes available that make it a sensible option.

Having to leave the next morning, no real problems, just a good stay.

The location was perfect for a stopover on our drive. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

The staff member checking us in seemed very short tempered with us, not rude. I got the feeling that they didn't like us using the hotel as a stopover as we were the only people I saw in casual clothing. There were a lot of people there to use business suites.

Good spacious rooms and a quite area. Enough parking places. All that was listed was available. Additional security with manual engagement to open the door for the customers.

There was no Kettle in the room for a cup of coffee or tea, and/or a small water bottle. This is pretty basic should be included in our opinion. Some tissues missing from the tissue box in the bathroom (can happen not a big deal). According to our observation the cost of Breakfast was comparatively high for similar facilities and even the drinks were expensive.

Diversity of the breakfast, the nice terrasse (especially on a mild summer evenning) and the very dedicaded staff

1. No Belgian French speaking TV Channels altough most of the rest of Europe and the World is available (Strange for Belgian hotel) ... it sounds looks like a cultural segregation in a bilangual country... as the French (from France) channels are available.... :-( 2. Very HVAC System on the roof (permanent rotation sound), all through the night, very loud sound when located on the 3rd floor. 3. Automatic time relay switch of the lights' bathroom set with a too long delay (more than 5')... very annoying during when going to the toilets the night

Nice hotel. Used it during traveling for a night. Staff very friendly. Nice beds and excellent breakfast for that price. Airconditioning silent and and so room was quiet.

For a long stay I would prefer a more central location but for us it was perfect as it’s a 5 minute drive to the motorway.

Good restaurant and location. The restaurant is well used by local residents, which shows its quality. Spacious bedrooms. There is plenty of free parking on site. Friendly staff and good service. Very comfortable large bed. We opted for a standard room rather than superior this time. Classic decor and fittings, but clean and well maintained. The only negative was a lack of power sockets. We stayed in the superior room in May. These are recently refurbished and have plenty of power sockets.
