We had an amazing stay! The accommodation was in a beautiful location, with breathtaking views from the terrace. Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the sea was simply unforgettable – fresh, delicious, and the perfect start to the day. The host was incredibly kind and helpful, even taking the time to show us around the town and assist us with everything we needed. We felt truly welcomed and cared for. Highly recommended – we would love to come back!

The property has a scenic view of the Salerno coast. It was enjoyable having breakfast and seeing the panoramic view from the terrace. It is clean, well maintained and has the necessary amenities. Massimo is an amazing host who takes care of each and every need. He made sure as if we were at home and would help to any query I had. He keeps basic food items for the guests. He took us in his car to Cetara and showed us the village and recommended good food. This is one of the best stays ever and I hope to visit this place again soon. Thank you Massimo

Massimo was the most spectacular host I have ever had and the level of hospitality was out of this world. The property has an amazing view, extremely clean, nice breakfast every morning, and is very comfortable. The location is wonderful and the nearby towns are very cute. Everything was very well organized and easygoing, Massimo gave us many recommendations of restaurants, places to visit, contacts for tours, etc. which was very helpful and enhanced our experience. I will definitely come back, and have no doubt that this is the best place so stay on the entire Amalfi coast.

Nothing negative to comment about this accomodation. Everything was perfect, just be prepared for some stairs but this applies to anywhere on the Amalfi coast.

We stayed at Il Glicine to experience the Amalfi Coast this week. This place exceeded all of our expectations. The view is incredible, the rooms are clean and spacious, and the feel of the B&B is a traditional Italian one with authentic decorative pieces from Vietri Sul Mare (the neighbouring town). As you walk up to the B&B, you walk through a tunnel of lemon trees, which makes also brings you the feel of Amalfi. All that being said, what really makes this place so special is the host Massimo. A genuinely nice person who wants to help you and make your stay as comfortable as possible, nothing is too much trouble for him. From breakfast hanging on our door every morning which is freshly baked from the local bakery, to quickly responding to any issues with transport, Massimo does it all and with a smile on his face. We will be back at Il Glicine, and I’m sure some of my family and friends will too. Grazie Mille Massimo.

The view from lodge is invincible and host is so nice to give us more than what we need. The free ride and breakfast is so generous that really make our trip wonderful. Definitely will come back for my next Amalfi trip.

The size of room is for 2 but little bit crowded for 3. The last 100 meter to lodge is narrow that you need to connect with the host who will give you the right direction or you will get lost.

The price was an excellent value, clean comfortable, panoramic sea view, private parking and Massimo went out of his way to ensure we enjoyed ourselves and treated us like family. We had a rent car but two nights he insisted he drive us to two nearby towns to shop and eat.

I’ve driven in Italy many times so I’m familiar with roads that accommodate one car at a time and require sharing the road for cars driving both directions. It can be difficult for those not familiar with these conditions. There are 49 steps and two driveways to walk from parked car to enter the house. This is to be expected on the amalfi coast but may be difficult for those with mobility issues.

The view from the terrace was stunning and the way that Massimo has taken care of us it was astounding. He was so accommodating and he made us feel as we were at home.

The amazing view comes at the price of a bit of a difficult drive to go up hill for who’s not used to driving up hill it might be a challenging. However, Massimo was so kind to accompany us to get up to the B&B and he even offered us to take us down and pick us up. There are also options for cheap taxi to keep the car parked at the B&B.

I have traveled almost everywhere around the world, this is the best host I have ever been to, he took us around the city showed us everything , recommended places and restaurants to visit, picked us up every night from the centre to the bnb , it felt more like visiting an old friend rather than visiting a hotel. Massimo our host went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable. We were three women traveling without a car and Massimo was gracious to transport us when he was free to do so. The views at Massimo’s B&B are outstanding. The property is modern, clean, quiet and there were no issues with water pressure and temperatures. The breakfast supplies were generous and varied.

Two of the women suffered with the hard mattresses in their rooms. Our stay was 6 nights and this created a great deal of discomfort for two of the travellers. We would recommend the option of having foam mattress toppers available.

We had a great stay at il Glicine. Massimo is such a nice and generous person, he went above and beyond by driving back and forth from the beach and town to the accommodation. Breakfast was really good, and Massimo can get anything you'd like in addition to what is offered there. We highly recommend this place.
