I wish we had booked for more nights. The hotel is a complete delight, from the welcoming informative host and lovely room with lots of nice touches (eg quiet aircon and good hot high pressure shower), to the breakfast featuring omelettes, home made phyllo pies and sweet breads, homemade jams and very good coffee (rather rare in many hotels). The host was especially helpful in making sure we got parked okay in a safe spot right beside the hotel. There’s lots to do in Kastoriá.

We good a large, quiet room with view to the lake - the view was WOW. We'll miss Zissis the receptionist was always available through phone (if not in hotel), he solved couple of issues quickly and efficiently. The hotel is 8 minutes from center, although it requires some stairs and climbing not so steep hill. We got an excellent recommendations from the receptions on restaurant and attractions, we ate in a wonderful restaurant Kalnterimi and on the other road was a great wine bar (Idees).

I think music in the hall where breakfast is served would have been contributed to the experience (it was too quiet and felt uncomfortable).

Set near the historic centre of the town and close to all the important landmarks, Hotel Tsarsi is one of the best and most modern hotels we have stayed in in Greece. Everything from the furniture to the color palette of the rooms was well chosen to accommodate the guests in a cosy manner. The staff was more than friendly and helpful, the internet speed was excellent and the breakfast was fantastic! We will surely stay there again.

The hotel is located on a narrow street on the hill where Kastoria is situated. The parking near the hotel is a bit tricky. We found a spot a few meters away, but immediately the person from the reception of the hotel came to help wits the luggage and accompanied to the hotel's parking place, which was very convenient. The room was large, with a terrace viewing the lake. Complimentary bottles of water were nice extra. Breakfast seemed to be a bit frugal at the begininng, but a rich scrambled eggs made the trick by the end. The cheese pie and apple pie were very tasteful.

It's not the hotel's fault, because that's how Kastoria is, but people having walking difficulties must be aware that, although the lake promenade is really not to far, but implies walking through steep streets and stairs. But for all others, it's just a nice walk.

We have such fond memories of the two nights we spent at the Hotel Tsarsi. It's a very small hotel, newly and wonderfully remodeled, and the staff is truly extraordinary. The manager actually moved his personal car on the street in front of the hotel so that we could park in his spot! How accommodating is that?! Our room was large, modern decor, spotlessly clean, with a balcony overlooking the lake in the distance. Best of all: The breakfast was an assortment of freshly baked pastries, egg cooked to order, with all of the sides and beverages you could desire.

Not the hotel's fault, but it is located adjacent to the old town, at the top of a hill. My wife has some trouble walking, so that could be an issue. BUT the hotel has an elevator, and taxis are easily and inexpensively available to access the old town and other sites.

The hotel was lovely in the heart of Kastoria. The staff were friendly and helpful. Telling us about the perfect places where to eat have, have cocktails and what to see despite our limited time there. We definitely want to return to Kastoria and stay at the Tsarsi again for longer next time! . I would certainly recommend this gem of a hotel we found.

The hotel is in a restored mansion & is very comfortable & quiet. It's in the centre of Kastoria so it's easy to walk to all the main sites. The staff were very helpful & gave us information about the town & good places to eat. Our room had a balcony with a view of the lake.

Generously sized rooms, super comfortable, minutes from everywhere, AC was terrific, dedicated car parking (front x1, back (2-3) breakfast omelettes were amazing and the team looking after us were so friendly and kind!! Wish we had of been staying longer and do hope to come back.

The hotel is located close to the lake as the crow flies, but when walking, you should take into account that there is a descent to the lake area.

Very well decorated and furnished, beautifully clean and well maintained. The bed was really comfortable and the shower incredibly powerful! Upgraded to a room with a small balcony looking out over roofs to the lake. Very nice breakfast with fresh pastries every morning and freshly squeezed orange juice.

The hotel is centrally located for all the attractions of the city, but the area does feel a bit run down, with lots of empty shops and buildings.
