The property is in a very convenient location right in the centre of Salerno, 20 mins walk from the train station and the ferry terminal. Everything was very clean and has modern bathroom with funky lighting in the shower. There are many restaurants and bars within a few minutes of the property and it’s a few minutes to the sea. It is two rooms on the second floor of a building (not a purpose built hotel) so there is no reception or staff so basically it is like an Airbnb where you have a code to access the front door and your room. I never met the host Gabriella but she was always available on WhatsApp to help and answer questions. Breakfast is provided in the room and is cereals and packet croissants with yoghurts, fruits, milk and juice in the fridge. I didn’t use it but it was included for free. It was safe for solo traveller and good value for money accommodation for visiting all areas in the Amalfi Coast and Pompeii, Herculaneum etc. Highly recommend this property.

As the property is in the middle of the town centre it was a bit noisy at night especially Friday and Saturday nights with music from nearby bars or restaurants. With earplugs it was fine. Also the rooms are on the second floor with quite steep stairs, it was no problem for me but people with heavy luggage or mobility issues should be aware.

Super location in the old town, near the sea, easy walk from the train station, lovely outlook onto the square, great facilities including an orange juicer, fab jacuzzi, diy breakfast provided with mix of packet and fresh produce, friendly helpful staff with rapid response to any issues

It was fine for me but be aware the stone staircase needs care when descending and the location is noisy, there is a restaurant below the window. For me it added to the colour but early sleepers might need earplugs.

the communication with the owner was swift and polite, we had an issue very late in the evening and got an answer pretty much right away we appreciated that the rooms was packed with snacks the indoor whirlpool was great, I wholeheartedly recommend it

we wanted to run the jacuzzi before going to bed and it wasn't connected to the breaker, we were able to figure it out with some remote assistance over messages the espresso machine was a little tough to operate and took me a little white to figure it out

The host was very communicative and friendly, offered clear check in instructions and offered to let me drop off my luggage before the official check in time. I felt well-informed and comfortable throughout the entire process. The property was easy to access using key codes. The property itself was very clean and modern with a generous breakfast selection. It was right in the centre of the old town and very close to a train station.

Fantastic stay from the minute we booked. Giovanni and Gabriella kept in contact while we made our way from Ireland. From checking in with us along the way to Giovanni meeting us at the B&B and showing us around and how things work. A lovely breakfast hamper of cereal, pastries, and snacks along with milk, tea, coffee, yoghurts, fruit, juice, and also a gift of bread mozzarella tomatoes They have thought of everything! Very helpful with recommendations for restaurants and where to visit. The location was ideal and not far from the train station to walk (less than 15 minutes straight all the way to the old town). The place is so clean and secure. I could go on and on, but I honestly wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Wish I stayed longer.

Room was very clean. Kitchen was fully equipped. Italian breakfast was provided (toasts, jams, apples, juice, milk, cakes etc). There was an air condition. Object is in front of beach, near railway station so localization is great. Personnel was very helpful. Gave us tips and answered on all our requests.

B&B in Centro Storico Salerno contained the best of the kind of accommodation that appeals to me: privacy, cleanliness, a thoughtful & helpful owner, breakfast & snack items in the room, a kitchen as well as close proximity to the main sights, restaurants & the train station. The greatest bonus was the in-room spa bath.

I was satisfied with my stay.

The room was great and bed was comfortable. If there could be directions on how to use the stove properly it would have been helpful.

The steps up to the room were definitely steep. Lugging the luggage up/down the steps was difficult. Having a list of local restaurants with food choices and locations (times being open/close) would be helpful to know best places to eat.

Excellent experience. The apartment is at the center of the city. Everything was clean and very nice. The stuff was perfect. We were welcomed by Giovanni, who helped us in so many ways about finding suitable restaurants, helping with our luggage, booking ferry to Positano etc. Great person. Also, the breakfast was very convenient and complete.

The room was very nice and had very welcoming vibes; all kinds of snacks provided with the room is an excellent idea (though I didn't try any). The location is right in the heart of old Salerno, with restaurants literally in every building on the street, including this one.

It was very tricky to find the place: GoogleMaps that I used was way off, it took a few attempts to find it. So that may be the Google issue. The jacuzzi never worked (they warned me about potential glitches and showed how to fix it but still it never worked for me).
