Property is in a great location in the heart of Praiano. Close to many restaurants and One Fire Beach. Hotel pool is a great option for spending a quite day in town.

The only thing I believe could enhance the experience is if the hotel could offer shuttle service to Positano. Although they do arrange land and water based taxi service, the cost is high. And bus service although available is not a good option, especially in bad weather when water taxi service is unavailable. If you are lucky enough to get to Positano by bus you may find yourself stuck in Positano waiting for hours for a bus that is not full and unable to get a taxi back to Praiano.

The views were breathtaking! The staff was so friendly and helpful. They assisted us with calling taxis and directions. The daily breakfast which was included was delicious. We loved hanging by the pool, and ate dinner at the restaurant one night. It was top notch. We were there in July and it was SO much less crowded than Positano. We went into Positano for one afternoon/evening to shop and eat and were so happy to be back in Praiano. We walked down to One Fire Beach club one day and ate at several restaurants nearby that were delicious (and no reservations needed). We also did the Path of the Gods hike nearby which was stunning. I would highly recommend this hotel and location if staying on the Amalfi Coast. I hope to get back there again someday! We stayed in a sea view terrace room and was so glad we did. I could not get enough of that view!

Our stay here was only short (2 nights). We were made to feel very welcome by all of the staff for our whole stay. The hotel is built into the side of the cliff and our room was on one of the lower levels without any windows however it was clean, spacious and comfortable. The hotel has modern decor & incredible views of Positano and the Amalfi coast. Breakfast was excellent quality, fresh ingredients and really well considered with lots of variety and very tasty. We ate at the hotel for one evening meal & it was well worth it. You can sit on the balcony overlooking the coast.

We LOVED the staff and location. Fantastic views over Positano. Hotel was spotless. Large terrace with pool and bar was a perfect place for a Limoncello spritz. Breakfast was incredible. Praiano is quieter than nearby Positano& Amalfi and it was lovely to escape the hustle bustle . Access to the Amalfi coast is by local bus ( you can buy tickets from reception ( in cash). Bus stop is close by. Water taxi and taxis available. The staff were really what made us love Tramonto d'Ora. From the moment we arrived and were welcomed by Chiara, nothing was too much trouble. Antonella, Frederica, Alessia & Roberta also helped organise reservations at local ( excellent) restaurants and trips using their local knowledge and expertise .The WhatsApp was a great resource and they were able to contact us and confirm reservations in a seamless manner . The restaurant is situated overlooking the stunning view . Here we were looked after by Pietro ( barista extraordinaire!), Peppino ( 46 yrs service), Fiorina, Thomas & Augustino . The service was fantastic and friendly and the food, fresh & delicious. We were sad to leave and on our last day Anna , the housekeeper , sang us a beautiful aria ! We will definitely be back !!

The view, the staff, the owner, the food, and the calm of the hotel and area! I absolutely love this hotel and will be back again! Carmela welcomes her guests as friends and you feel “at home” and after a long trip that is the best feeling. From their impeccable service to clean and tidy space, the staff go above and beyond to ensure you enjoy every minute of your visit. The food is EXCEPTIONAL! We loved our breakfast cappuccinos, homemade parfaits and the fruit filled cornets were worth every caloric bite! Of course walking down the 400 steps to jump in the sea helps you work off your vacation indulgence! Of course stop at Cafe Mirante on the ascent back for a Lemon Zest cocktail to give you the boost to finish the last 100 steps! And when you get back to the hotel, jump into the cool refreshing pool overlooking the breathtaking view of Positano and the golden sunset (for which the hotel is perfectly named!) The dinners were perfection with local fresh caught fish the best way to go with the lemon linguine being my absolute favorite pasta in Italy! The ladies at reception were wonderful in arranging for our taxis to Positano and Marina de Praia for our fantastic boat day! Do keep in mind these one way trips can run €30-40 so a day away does have an additional travel cost but worth it! We came as guests and left as friends and I am forever grateful for the hospitality we were shown by Carmela, her family and staff!

The staff is exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable and helpful!! The hotel location, and the views from the room and restaurant are stunning! The breakfast buffet was marvellous and the à la carte restaurant serves great food. Parking is limited but the staff goes all the way to find solutions for all guests, we did not need to worry.

In april, the pool and pool bar were not open yet and the wellness facilities were not included in the price. For this price standard, we feel it would be suitable to make the latter inclusive during the off-season period when the former are not accessible for the guests.

My best friend and I had an unforgettable stay at Tramonto d’Oro. The views are simply unmatched and the location in Praiano was perfect to escape the masses in more popular destinations. However, it was truly the staff at Tramonto that made this trip for us. We felt so welcomed from the very first moment and the team went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. You really feel part of the family at this hotel, which has been run by four generations of the same family! We cannot thank the team enough for the most incredible holiday, and have already planned our return for next year!

Paradise! Don’t think about it…just book it. We had an amazing time staying at this lovely little hotel. The views of the Amalfi coastline in this hotel (dining areas and from the Mediterranean room)are even better than you can imagine. The only thing that surpasses the beauty of the location and the hotel is the impeccable service from the entire team at Tramonto. So friendly, professional and always willing to go above and beyond to make sure your stay is amazing. The owner was so hands on and would come and chat at any opportunity. The hotel is also conveniently located near many great shops and restaurants and the bus station which will allow you to easily get to Positano or Amalfi. The food at the hotel was also really good. This place is a hidden gem and I strongly recommend it! Thank you to the lovely team at Tramonto. We will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful stay for our honeymoon. This beautiful hotel & area was a great location, bus stop down the road to the busier towns. The breakfast & dinner views every day, wow! The staff were incredibly helpful, friendly & remembered the small details. This hotel oozed authenticity, quietness kindness and we would happily return!

Don't look anywhere else - this is the spot - perfectly close to Positano but away from the craziness in the cleanest and nicest boutique hotel I have ever stayed in.

That I had to leave - honestly - it was like staying in my home (but so much nicer) with a view and staff that will not be beat - thanks so much!
