We loved our stay in this special abode, nestled at the top of the village of Praiano. The view was exceptional at a very agreeable price. The breakfast each morning was generous and prompt. We felt taken care of but also free to enjoy the space as we wished. The terrace sea view room we had was excellent. We loved walking down to the beach and getting our steps in over the week. Praiano is also centrally located between Amalfi and Positano - great for exploring the coast. We hope to return one day!

All was excellent. We would caution those who are less fit to research the area, as you will be limited by bus access and/or your mobility could hinder your experience. That is not on the owners though - do your research! :-)

We are two Belgians, and it was our first time on the Amalfi Coast. If you're looking for a place to stay in the area, I highly recommend this accommodation. We stayed for one week — the price was affordable, and breakfast was included (and very generous!). It's conveniently located near the main towns like Positano and Amalfi, with the local bus stopping right nearby. The sea view is an added bonus. Praiano is a quiet and peaceful town — perfect for relaxing. I truly have nothing negative to say. Thank you, Locanda degli Dei, for your warm hospitality!

Our hostess greeted us warmly when we arrived and showed us to our room. We stayed in the junior suite, which had a very large balcony patio with an absolutely spectacular view of the ocean and coastline, as well as the church and lemon groves below. There was no street visible below us, only trees, rooftops, and ocean. We loved watching the sunrise in the morning and relaxing on the patio at night. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was small but very clean. Breakfast was beautifully presented in the garden, under the lemon trees, overlooking the ocean. Our hostess was also very helpful when we had questions about bus stops and towns to visit.

This was our fault, not that of the inn, but we didn't quite understand where to get off the bus in Praiano so that we didn't have to walk up so many stairs through the town (with heavy backpacks) when we arrived. We should have done a bit more research, as there is a bus stop very near the inn. Once at Locanda Degli Dei, it was all worth it!

Everything about our stay at Locanda Degli Dei in Praiano was simply wonderful. The location is breathtaking perched on the cliffs of the Amalfi Coast, the view from our terrace was like a dream. The highlight of our stay, however, was Ester, the owner. She was incredibly friendly, warm, and helpful throughout our visit. The room was spotless and very comfortable, and the entire property was perfectly maintained. We especially loved the breakfast it was fresh, delicious, and served with so much care. It was a truly peaceful and memorable experience.

There was absolutely nothing we didn’t like everything exceeded our expectations.

It’s a very charming little B&B with an incredible view over the Amalfi coast. The owner and her dad are super welcoming and very helpful. They take great care of you during your stay and the breakfast every morning is so good. Our room had a terrace with a table and two long chairs that we could use at any time. The B&B is directly connected to a set of stairs that take you to the city centre - and another one that is at the beginning of the Path of Gods hike. We had an amazing time!

Praiano has a local bus that takes you up and down in the village because of its great (!) amount of stairs. The B&B is located at the top of the village and the bus doesn’t stop there very often. It’s in no way a dealbreaker but it makes the planning of the day a bit more difficult. Be prepared to use your legs!

The property was amazing, the views were stunning and most importantly the staff were so kind and helpful! Breakfast was fantastic and the room was comfortable and clean. The location was perfect with a local bus stop right outside to take you through the town and other bus stops reachable via some stairs outside the property which take you to Amalfi, Positano and Sorrento. The property has free parking if you rent a car or scooter which was also super convenient. Could not recommend this place enough!

I can’t thank Ester enough for her kindness and hospitality The hotel is spotless The rooms true authentic romantic Italian They are Quiet and comfortable The breakfast was the best I have ever received at a hotel! the host was extremely knowledgeable about gluten free food -unexpectedly as I usually just have a coffee I was provided with plates of food at breakfast every morning including a variety of meats and cheese,bread salads fruit yoghurt ect I was very impressed and extremely grateful The hotel is next to the path of gods hence the name its decorated in reference to this and its beautiful and charming The views are phenomenal We had the best nights sleep! Parking was not a problem it was very private and secure I felt so relaxed Sleepy praiano is a short walk away with buses to connect all around the coast I would recommend this hotel and I would go back in a heartbeat Ester was very nice and provided us with a champagne ice bath to celebrate our engagement She went above and beyond to make sure we had a lovely stay This place will always have a special place in my heart and I can’t wait to return Thank you!!!

We loved this accomodation and would highly recommend staying here. It was very clean, tidy and immaculately kept. The breakfast was sensational, and Esther and Franco were very friendly and accomodating hosts. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they were great organising a scooter for us and giving us recommendations on restaurants to eat at and places to see. The property is directly opposite the start of the Path of the Gods and walking distance to a number of restaurants (although there are a lot of stairs). The bus service was also quite good and is the best way to get to the accomodation.

The accomodation is quite high up on the hill but the local bus service helps to get around. Be sure to ask the hosts when the local bus runs to help you get to the accomodation.

Amazing location overlooking the sea. Sitting on the balcony after a long day of sightseeing and watching the sunset was truly incredible. The room was typical of the Italian style that runs through Amalfi Coast and included a mini bar, hair dryer and toiletries. Francesco the owner was also very friendly and helpful with any queries we had. Breakfast was unusual compared to a typical English breakfast but delicious. Having cake for breakfast was a nice experience as was eating it whilst sat under the lemon trees in the gardens of the property.

The property is high up in the cliff face so be prepared for some epic step climbing. I think I worked out that you have to climb an average of 600-750 steps depending on where you start and it is tough in the heat! There are local buses that can take you around the area and a bus stop is located at the top just outside the property but we could never work out the bus route or timetable properly! The room doesn’t have an iron so you will need to take a travel iron with you or iron creased clothes beforehand. You also have to be out of your room before 11am otherwise you will not be included in the days housekeeping rounds.

This was the hotel that we didn’t know how it was gonna be when we got there, but it blew our expectations out of the water!!!! My wife and I loved every bit of Locanda!! The hospitality was great, breakfast was incredible, the views are stunning, and just overall a great value for my wife and I!

The only thing people need to be aware of is to make sure that you are aware of the local bus (black Mercedes van that says local bus) that takes you right up to the hotel. If not you’ll have to walk up and haul your stuff up with you up .7 miles of hills and stairs which isn’t ideal. Ask the front desk when the local bus comes so you can make sure to take it up to the hotel.
