First of all we absolutely loved the staff especially Francesco. He made the best drinks we have ever had and he was absolutely fantastic in every other way. The breakfast was great and we loved that we could eat a bit later than in usual hotels. The location was great, the view was immaculate and the rooms were lovely. It was very practical that the bus station was so close. All in all we are so happy and would absolutely recommend this hotel to everybody. We were amazed and enjoyed our time at the Torre Sarancena Hotel.

There was no toothpaste but fortunately there was the small convenience store right next door!

A very good hotel for the price. A fantastic breakfast which included hot & cold selections. Great reception staff especially Regina, who allowed us to drop off our bags, even though they were extremely busy & we arrived early. She even gave us great recommendations for food & drink whilst we waited. Nice little plunge pool & sun deck. Small private sea deck with ladder into the sea. The views from our room were stunning.

Rooms were a little tired but for the price we paid.. expected & no complaints.

Wow we are so happy we stayed here! The hotel, while a little dated, was an absolute gem. We stayed in the Acqua Marina room and I honestly think it was the best one. We had a private patio overlooking the sea and we were in a quiet corner. The hotel includes a delicious breakfast every morning and has their own private access to the sea. There are no chairs but you can rent towels for 5 euros each. We also used their pool which was quite warm during the day but very pleasant in the evening. It’s small but honestly does the trick if you don’t want to go all the way down to the sea (there are a lot of stairs!) The staff was incredible and so attentive. They offer a free shuttle to their sister property that has a restaurant which we did one night and really enjoyed the food, view and staff. Next door to the hotel is a little tabbacchi or market for some basics as well as a cafe we really enjoyed. You will also be right by the bus stop #10 and can easily access Positano and Sorrento. Highly recommend staying here in Praiano. It’s much quieter and less busy than Positano but you still get the beach and the beautiful views!

Maybe just the pool temperature. If there was anyway to make it more refreshing it would be perfect (or maybe more shade over it)

The size of the sea view room was fantastic and the air conditioning was close to silent which really helped us sleep well. The view from the balcony over the sea was incredible. The room was kept scrupulously clean by the cleaning staff. The breakfast was excellent with everything one could hope for - a feast every morning! The access to the sea was superb. The staff were very kind and friendly. Praiano as a village has great restaurants and has not yet been completely overrun by tourists. Hot tip - the pasta dishes at the small cafe next door to the hotel, which is only open for breakfast and lunch, are delicious. The prawn ravioli was the best meal I had during the whole 10 day stay.

Nothing. It was all wonderful and hard to improve on. Recommendation to visitors - if you are coming during the Summer, a car will only bring you stress and pain. You are better off using local public transport during your stay. If you want to visit Pompei and Herculaneum, add a couple of extra days in Naples at the end of your trip. Trying to get there via the crowded, dangerous coast road from Praiano during the summer months is not worth it.

I booked the hotel due to its location and that it looked more authentic accommodation than other hotels around. We chose Praiano due to its closeness to Positano and Amalfi, but really did not have to go far for beautiful experiences. The people managing the hotel were absolutely amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. From the welcome we received when we arrived, to breakfast each morning and every time we came and went, we were made to feel so welcomed and the loved how genuine they were. They provided held and support. They gave us information about the local town and how to get around. The breakfast was delicious, the rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. The facilities at the hotel were fantastic. If we went back to the area we would definately stay there and certainly highly recommend it for an authentic stay in the Amalfi coast.

There really was nothing we did not love about the hotel. If you are looking for a modern hotel, this is not for you. If you want an authentic experience, this is the place to be. Love it

The sea view is unbeatable. The nearby restaurants were very good (down path toward ocean). The staff are very nice people. Our room was beautiful in appearance. Breakfast is nice. The on-site pool is refreshing.

The bed was very hard and the blanket was tapestry like (not at all soft). They charge you 30 euro per night to park (not listed online/unexpected). Praiano is very quiet and getting between towns with public transport is unpredictable and time consuming. Getting in the water was challenging.

The location was stunning, direct access to the sea and caves where we cliff dived and snorkelled into caves with stalactites away from crowds. Direct access to "The Path of the God's" a stunning walk to Positano with amazing views of the coastline. The breakfast was delicious offering everything and the staff were very kind We arrived early after a hot overnight train journey and were welcomed with a cold drink and allowed to check into our room early which had been upgraded to a family room so I didn't have to share a bed with my son 🤗 Thank you so much for a wonderful restful stay in this stunning part of Italy, hidden away from the crowds.

We stayed at the hotel Torre Sarracena for 7 nights and we really enjoyed it. This hotel has the perfect location, between Positano and Amalfi, away from the crowd and right next to it there is a little beach, a bus station for Amalfi and Positano. The terrace with the swimming pool was just perfect to relax. The room with sea view was beautiful, cleaned everyday, nicely decorated, comfortable bed and the aircon is a big plus. The breakfast was amazing, great vegetarian options and delicious sfogliatella. The entire staff is extremely kind, very hardworking and helpful, they all speak english and they are very attentive. Big thank you to all of them for our beautiful stay. We really recommend this hotel!

Some tourists were very noisy, however there is nothing the hotel can do 😅

We loved everything about the Torre Saracena - what a magical few days we had! Drinking a cappucino overlooking the sea at breakfast or from our balcony was astonishingly beautiful but what is truly exceptional is the direct access to the sea to swim off of the rocks. The staff are friendly, the hotel is on many levels so feels very small, there is a beautiful terrace with sunbeds shaded by apricot and lemon trees, and there is a bus stop right outside to visit Positano or Amalfi. Priano itself is lovely; much quieter than other towns and a lovely escape from the bustle of the more touristy spots.

Not a problem for us, but you have to be able to cope with steps (but that applies to the whole coast, not just this hotel!)

Regina the Manager was really good and also before and after the holiday, she was most helpful, especially, when I took the keys away and had to post them, back, successfully from Naples. Along the Amalfi coast you have to be prepared for steps, up and down to reach anywhere..... The hotel now has a small swimming pool which was not advertised. The views are breath taking, lovely to watch the boats all day. Capri worth a trip. Postiano not so great as touristy and so many steps...Amalfi better. There are 2 small shops nearby and walking to the beach takes five/ten mins..steps again.. Good restaurants by the beach. Lunch at il Pirata recommended. The hotel offers a breakfast only, but it is of a high standard. The sister hotel restaurant was very good. and they provide a five mins complimentary lift there and back. You can book a taxi via Regina, from Naples airport there and back. Definately needed, rather than pot luck at the airport.
