An absolutely fabulous jewel of a hotel! The rooms are beautifully furnished and very comfortable, the restaurants and other public spaces are in mint condition, and the staff are exceptionally kind and friendly. The location is superb for numerous reasons. First of all, it has direct access to the Tyrrhenian Sea where you can choose to swim from the beach or from the small dock at Marina di Praia. The hotel’s close proximity to that little harbor is also a huge advantage because you can catch water taxis and can also join tours etc to Capri etc., with great convenience. The water taxis to and from Amalfi and Positano are fast, convenient, reasonably priced and tremendous fun! Marina di Praia, is a hive of activity which is exciting to watch. It also has a couple of great little restaurants. The third advantage of this hotel’s location is how immensely relaxing it is. Unlike hotels that are in the towns, this hotel is a haven of peace. But the excitement is very close, when desired. it is a short walk to Praiano and its restaurants, and a short trip by water taxi to the bigger towns of Amalfi and Positano. The main restaurant is delicious. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were all superb. You must have the deserts, which are absolutely delicious. Thank you Hotel Onda Verde, I hope to see you again soon.

Nothing. It was perfect.

Hotel Onda Verde has a beautiful view of the Amalfi coast and a nearby beach. The staff were friendly, accomodating and catered for every need. You could not find a better location, we could not even fathom how beautiful the views were. Our room was large, comfortable and had everything we required. A special mention to Davide at the pool, who was so friendly and made sure we were always comfortable . The staff went above and beyond to ensure you felt you were in luxury, always catering for us and carrying our bags ( even with a very early check out). They arranged our private transfers as well, which was very helpful. The property also allowed us to check in early. Breakfast was great too!

The only issue we had was the noise at night due to a bar being close by. This is not a hotel issue and there is nothing they could have done to fix this, just something to note

Third week Oct- weather still nice! Couple, early 40s. If going to the Amalfi STAY HERE. Driving from Tuscany we knew there would be difficult driving (it was- take it slower than you think you need because other drivers there are other tourists who will cross lines around bends and VERY large buses who don't care if you're new to driving there; pro-tip- watch a video about driving in the Amalfi before deciding to drive there), but we found the worst part was the idea of not having parking. Some hotels had very difficult driveways or parking lots that were down steep hills, or were public garages. Onda Verde had a pull right in lot and valet who moved your car if needed and parking was included! As a heads-up: we parked our car until we left because there are city buses called SITA and ferries and another shuttle I can't remember the name of that are convenient-ish and we walked a ton (but the roads are not exactly pedestrian friendly as a heads-up). Breakfast was great. Buffet with lots of delicious choices. Room so clean. We had the deluxe double with Terrace and Sea View and it was perfect size, with a safe and a great water pressure. The view. My glorious goodness. I am a world traveler, have stayed in places on the edge of the caldera in Santorini, in the mountains and in rainforests, and this was hands-down up there with the best. It's private and quiet with a horizon of bright blue water and marvelous mountains at sunrise. Pool was open Oct 22nd and wasn't heated but a great swim. We took an arranged tour to Capri from hotel planned, was great. We also wandered up to the "center" of Praiano (not a true center) for dinner to a place called Il Pino and the older gentleman (whom I believe is the owner) was incredible and sang loudly and at one point the whole restaurant joined impromptu. Another great spot, Saghir, is a phenomenal wine bar with delicious food. A short cab ride to both.

We went for our honeymoon and there was no acknowledgment of same. This is not a MUST it just would have been nice. I think at the end of the busy season they were customer-ed out. One of the female desk attendants was very brusque; just needs a little less bluntness maybe. All of the others were great!

Pics on website don’t this place justice. The rooms are immaculate and so inviting. The views are spectacular from wherever. The access to the water is so easy. The beach restaurant below is fabulous and the food / bar amazing. Can’t say enuff good things abt this hidden gem. We room water taxi to Positano and Amalfi with ease. After going to both those major spots it was always nice to get back to Praiano where it’s less busy and more scenic.

The hotel is absolutely fabulous. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The view from our room was simply breathtaking — it honestly felt unreal. The hotel’s décor is charming and beautifully thought out, adding to the whole experience. We had an amazing stay! The staff went above and beyond to help us with our suitcases and anything we needed, always with a smile. There are also great spots nearby to eat and have a drink, making the location even more special.

Stayed here on the recommendation of a friend and it is a superb hotel. Not cheap, but then again the best things seldom are. Loved the small size and its location is stunning.

We arrived back after dinner at 2215 one night to enjoy a drink on Terrace, only to find the bar had shut early. This spoiled our evening somewhat. I mentioned it at Reception the following day but whilst being apologetic, he did not empathise with our disappointment. This is something that clearly should never happen in a hotel of this quality and whilst we didn't expect a 'Free Stay', a small gesture would have been nice.

Firstly, I will start with the staff. They are very helpful and respectful. The food is amazing. As for the room, I think it is one of the best rooms I have had in Amalfi. I have been there for six times and it is very clean and cozy. The hotel's attention to detail is outstanding, from the beautifully arranged flowers in the lobby to the personalized welcome note in my room. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure that every guest feels comfortable and well taken care of. The meals at the hotel's restaurant are a culinary delight, with a wide range of delicious dishes to choose from. The chef's expertise is evident in every bite, and the attentive waitstaff makes dining here a truly enjoyable experience. The room itself is a haven of tranquility, with plush bedding, tasteful decor, and all the amenities one could need. The attention to cleanliness is commendable, as the room is always spotless and fresh. Overall, my experience at this hotel has been nothing short of exceptional, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a truly memorable stay in Amalfi.

Our suite Sofia with a balcony was absolutely amazing. gorgeous views even from the shower 😂Beautiful decor, stocked mini fridge, excellent service. Parking on site was so nice to have! Hotel restaurant was excellent. Breakfast was included with plenty of great options to choose from. Really makes me sad that we dont have good breakfasts in our hotels in the US

would have liked a room where the view was accessible from inside the room with the curtains opened. We had to stand on the balcony to see the view. For what we paid, I thought we would get better.

The comfort in the room. Bed, linens and towels very clean and of very good quality. Our room faced the sea line which was wonderful. Breakfast of very good quality. We had lunch twice in the restaurant and was a wonderful experience. We did not have more because we wanted to explore the area around. Staff is very courteous and polite. Another good thing for us was that the hotel offers free parking. Ah, last but not least, there is an elevator to access lower levels BUT, does not get to all levels. Depending on the room you stay you might need to use the stairs. It worked fine for us. But we did not bring down our luggages. Instead, we bring what we might need in a bag.

Nothing I can remember on right now. There is something that does not have to do with the hotel itself which is the beach which is not what I was expecting. The hotel has a private access to a path that leads to the beach. A five minutes of breathtaking views walk.
