very comfy and good location to go to Humpty's for breakfast while I waited for my shuttle bus

I guess this is not uncommon, but there is a large deposit needed like $200 on credit card. I am not sure how this would work for travellers with no credit. I had issue with getting it returned to my card, but the manager straightened it out, so that was very nice.

The room surprisingly had no odor or moisture, no carpet, and the floor and other indoor facilities were very clean. The room is very warm in a cold rainy night.

The smell in the reception room

Motel was easy to find off the Trans Canada, about 300m south. Motel is clean modestly furnished and recently renovated. Bed was very comfortable to sleep on. Also, like the greeting from the owner's cat, Happy. Very friendly!

Very quiet/peaceful motel. Clean and pleasant accommodations

The bathtub didn't have a stopper, and very few TV channels

The motel was in a great location for travel, close to the highway and close enough to restaurants in the surrounding area. The room was clean and warm (even during -28° weather), the beds where comfortable and slept well.

My only complaint was the room had smelled like a prior guests pet cat had sprayed recently. Very strong odor.
