If you’re heading to Santorini, I can’t recommend Honeymoon Beach Resort enough—it’s an absolute gem! I booked it a bit on a whim after reading some reviews, and wow, am I glad I did. It’s a cozy, family-run boutique hotel with all the charm and warmth you could hope for, and it ended up making my entire trip unforgettable. Right from the start, the hospitality blew me away. Our flight was delayed, so we arrived pretty late at night, and I worried we’d have to scramble for transport. But when we finally landed, Julia’s son, Michael, was waiting for us with the friendliest smile, holding a sign with our names. It might sound small, but after a long day of travel, that welcome made all the difference. We got to the hotel, and even though it was way past typical hours, Julia herself came out to greet us. Seeing we were hungry, she offered to make us a late-night snack, and within minutes, we were enjoying a delicious homemade bowl of pasta by the pool. It’s not every day you find a hotel where the owner treats you like family right from the start! The room was spotless and beautifully styled with that signature Greek look—whitewashed walls, blue accents, and cozy furnishings. It was so welcoming that I immediately felt relaxed. You could tell the family takes great pride in maintaining everything to perfection.

Beautiful small family hotel run by Julia and her sons, who make you feel right at home with their warm welcome and discretion. Steps away from the beach and numerous restaurants and bars, and within wlking distance (about 30 minutes, don't forget water) from Vlychada and Perissa. The homemade food is very nice and the shaded tables on the edge of the heart-shaped pool make for a very relaxing experience. On top of everything, we were upgraded to a beautiful 2-level studio with 2 terraces and got small goodbye gifts even though we onlt spent one night there. We hope to be back.

Julia and her family are lovely. In 5 minutes they solved the problem of transportation in the city and to the airport. The girls received a gift at the end. The accommodation is very well located a few minutes from the beach. Every day they clean and tidy the rooms and change the towels.

It's not their fault, but the water is salty from the tap.

Managed by Julie and her family, who are very kind and took very good care of me and my family. The hotel is a 5 min walk to the beach, 10-15 mins walk to the bus stop and mini Market. The pool can be used until 12pm. Infinity pool on the 1st floor, although small but we did had fun everytime we used it. The food was great, and the hotel was clearly loved by the hosts.

Entire place was very clean and tidy, staff was extremely friendly and kind. Cleaning team was super nice and did very good job. Food was out of this world. Extremely tasty, fresh and the best food we ate in Santorini. Apartment had everything we needed to stay Cosy and comfortable. I can highly recommend this place and definitely the food that Julia was cooking. If I ever go back to santorini this would be the place to go again.

It's a great option if you want to combine beach holiday with sightseeing around the island. A beautiful Perivolos beach is just around the corner and the bust stop is also some 200m away. The hotel is in a traditional greek style, looks very nice and well maintained. Julia and her family are the perfect hoteliers, very welcoming and attentive to the needs of their guests. The food at the hotel is excellent, much better than in many places where I eat around Santorini. It's a bit tricky for me to evaluate the rooms. I lived on a ground floor in a studio for 2 people. The room was tiny, dark and a bit worn out. It reminded me of a hostel rather than a hotel. However, I had a chance to see a room on the upper floor - this is an absolutely different story - bright, spacious, with a sea view. So my recommendation will be to book the upper floor so that the hotel will fully meet your expectations. I guess all the exceptional reviews were from the guests who stayed in those rooms.

For the rooms on a ground floor there's no privacy at all. The building designed the way that the pass to the exit comes along the area in front of your door. So everyone who live in the next to you rooms will be passing by while you are eating or reading outside. Also you can hear everyone around.

Honeymoon Beach is a family run hotel. They make you feel welcome from the outset. Julia and her family are great hosts. There is a lovely heart shaped pool and in the area above a jacuzzi- as other reviews state it is salt water as is the showers but this was not a problem for us. The rooms are cleaned every day and fresh linen and towels given. We didn’t eat our evening meals there but had breakfast regularly which was really good with a decent choice. It’s location is great being just a five minute walk from the beach with plenty of selection of bars and restaurants whether you go left or right when reach the beach. There are a couple of mini markets at beach (one left, one right) and a bigger Euromarket if come out of hotel and turn left and follow road to end. A wonderful spell and we would happily stay here again

The people were VERY FRIENDLY and HELPFUL. The food was good. The location is amazing - 200m to a great beach There were even friendly animals - cat, horse, donkey

The suite we had booked was unsuitable (I am very tall), but they upgraded us to a perfect suite for a little extra.

The pool and jacuzzi were great and well maintained, the staff were amazing and very polite and accommodating, they helped us with any questions we had and even gave us a lift to a nearby beach

The room had some weird smells with and without the aircon, stairs to the bedroom seemed very dangerous

The Hotel is fantastic, the rooms were great and very clean. They have a good size pool and a jacuzzi which were so nice to spend time in. The owners were fantastic, very helpful, very polite. The hotel is in a great spot, just a five min walk from the bars on the beach front. only a ten minute walk to the local shop and bus stop.

Everything was perfect for us.
