The Gunsynd was very close to town. Great sized room for our family of 6. It also had comfortable beds.

Car parking was an issue. We were directed not to park in the allotted space as it was too small (extremely small). We had to park over near the entrance/bin area. Wasn’t a huge deal, but it would have been better to have the car near the room. Also there was only a sink in the bathroom, which we chose to ask for more crockery etc rather than wash up in the bathroom sink.

We stayed here some time ago and the motel has since changed hands and we were very happy to see it has really improved. The rooms have been modernised and are much improved clean and fresh. I was really happy to see they have removed the tables and chairs from outside front of rooms as previously they would often have guests smoking and talking into the evening disturbing other guests. Great improvement. We had an excellent night sleep in a quiet room and compfy bed. Thank you we will definitely return.

Well to tell the truth it was the only accommodation left in Goondiwindi for the night. But as it turned out it was comfortable. We had a two bedroom unit, which we didn’t need, but handy when husband snoring I went into other bedroom. Ha ha.

Great having fans and aircon and plenty of storage on 2nd bedroom. Loved the quiet despite lots of guests on-site. Bathroom was quite small but adequate.

I didn't like the strong incense smell in the bathroom, as I'm sensitive to strong- smelling chemicals.

Room facilities were OK, parking easy enough. Local to several dining options.

Toaster blew the circuit breaker, early morning traffic noise, bed was a little firm. We booked a room that was supposed to be 1 x Queen bed & 2 x lounge chairs, got a room with 1 x Queen & 2 x single beds, no lounge chairs...

Comfy bed, clean rooms although rather cramped. Walking distance to pub for meals once we googled the area.

Arrived to pick up key at check in, then had to wait for others who had no idea how to park their bus and trailer then taking up parking area we were supposed to park. Bus should have been made to park elsewhere, had to cart our belongings several rooms away. Went back to get directions from reception as to where best to eat they had already shut at 4pm.

We had a family room which was large and spacious. Everything we needed for an overnight stop during our travels.

The only complaint we had was the cushions on the dining chairs were dirty and covered in some substance.

The staff was really nice. You can walk to the Main Street where all the good places to eat are. It’s close to nearly everything you need. The beds were comfortable the room was very clean. I would recommend this motel to anyone.

Room was clean and comfortable, Television was a smart TV which was great to watch our favourite shows. Shower and restrooms were clean and good water pressure and temperature. Location to local shops was great. Pubs nearby for a meal and drinks. Very friendly staff.

Pool is pretty small , however we didn't use it .

Great location. Staff great. There was a problem with the hot water and advised immediately when booking in.

Would have liked a table. Would have preferred a small couch but no where as there was our bed and 2 singles, which weren't required. Also the room we had felt like in the middle of the road at night. Will go for a lower number next time, as had in the past
