The property was beyond my expectations. It had a good rating on booking.com, this is also the reason why I choose it and found that it richly deserves its rating. First of all, the property was very nicely arranged, it had a pool with large red fish, specific to the Asian region, as I saw in several places during my stay. Very tasty breakfast, with a choice between the Asian, European or mixed version. Big, spacious room, large and comfortable double bed, I also had a balcony with a table and 2 chairs (which I didn't have time to use). Elegant bathroom, shower cabin, hot water both in the sink and in the shower, daily cleaning, changed towels and sheets, arranged the bed... In just few words ..... I recommend that property. It is the kind of property that I would happily return to in the future.

For those who do not like to walk: the property is located approximately 1.8 km from Chiang Rai Night Market. I knew this from the very beginning, so I choose to stay here in full knowledge of the reason. And I like to walk, so... not big problem. And I think you can take Uber or Bolt if you want to go in the center.

Homey Dormy is a good place to go to in Chiang Rai. It's well appointed, clean, sleeping was comfortable, it has good air conditioning, the room was spacious, has nice ambiance, it is quiet and close to the market. The breakfast was good, the staff pleasant and polite. Recommended for people with their own transport as there is no public trasnport around and the roads are very busy to walk around.

The shower did not drain well and was once flooded with the water upstairs. I suppose the staff know about it as when we mentioned it nothing was done - possible too difficult, requiring some larger reconstruction of the system.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. The location is excellent, making it easy to explore the area. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. Housekeeping was prompt and thorough, with daily service ensuring everything was in top condition. The atmosphere was wonderful, with a serene touch provided by koi fish swimming gracefully at the entrance. The breakfast was a highlight—freshly prepared with a great variety of delicious options. The receptionist was outstanding: extremely polite, helpful, and spoke good English, making communication effortless. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel without hesitation!

This place went above and beyond. The breakfast was great, we stayed for 2 nights and had a different breakfast each day. The location was good, very close to a small airstrip with a cafe and close to Central Plaza mall. The room was huge and very clean! The bathroom was big as well and had the shower separated from the toilet which was nice. The entire property is very well maintained, you can tell a lot of effort went into decorating it and that effort is appreciated. This place is excellent value and well worth a visit, stay here if you are in Chiang Rai!

Nothing, the property was perfect

The Check-In was perfect and overall the staff is super friendly. The house itself is very beautiful and the rooms modern and spaceous. There are plenty of outlets. The beds are very comfortable and also spaceous. The bathroom is very clean and modern. The AC is not the quitest one but we found it allright. There is also a window covered with a mosquito net which we closed each night, since the insects are quite loud. But with the closed window it is completly quite. One also has a TV in the room. The window towards the inner courtyard which can be darkened by the curtains. The room itself is also lockable. The breakfast offers esch day another option of a Thai breakfast which we liked a lot and can just recommend it! There is also some juice, fruits, Toast, marmelade and one can get freshly fried egg, hamd and sausage. The breakfast room is very beautiful and semi-outdoor. Nearby are several local food options as well as a 7 Eleven and a Mini C. All in all we can just reccomend this accomodation to anyone who wants to explore the beautiful city of hiang Rai!

Lovely little hotel near the old airport runway. Great for our daily exercise. Beds were very comfortable and rooms spacious. Got a good night sleep as it was very quiet. Breakfast was included and set us up for a day of exploring. Also the receptionist sorted out a scooter which was delivered and collected from the hotel. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

Really liked this place, very quiet and tranquil. Room was very big with comfortable bed and small balcony (lots of other places to sit outside). Staff were lovely and good home cooked breakfast. Location is a bit outside main area but walkable or can borrow bike (for free, just ask for lock). No real need to go there though as plenty of restaurants and bars just a few minutes walk away.

A very cozy and peaceful place with clean, comfortable rooms. The breakfasts are delicious. The staff is polite and attentive, always ready to help. The location is convenient — a quiet area, perfect for relaxing from the hustle and bustle of the city. An excellent option for those who value comfort and peace of mind.

AMAZING! :) If you go to Chiang Rai you must stay in Homey Dormy. Our room was very big and nice, (2 AC). Also room was clean which is important. The breakfast is excellent, "resort" nicely decorated. I would like to praise the kindness of the owner. You can borrow a bike (ask for a lock at the reception), as well as the pump if the tire is empty. The next very good experience is that they called B-RIDER (rent a scooter) at the reception, and they brought the scooter in 20 minutes. In the evening until 18:00 they also come to the hotel to take it back. We drove all day for 500BTH, we probably could have gotten cheaper, but for all the comfort and good experience, it wouldn't be worth looking around the city for other options :) So I can only warmly recommend this accommodation!
