The main staff member is very polite and thoughtful, she even recommended us food for our one year old kid, as we come from Europe and did not quite know what to feed her due to the spices! Much thanks 👍 The room was big and the AC was good, not too humid! Every question was answered and every wish fulfilled. The pool is very nice and the food at the resort is delicious! We ate every meal here, as it was so comfortable and yummy. Big recommendation 👍

The laundry service is quite expensive at the resort, as you pay every piece separately in comparison to the laundry at the city.

it's great. any bad comments about the staff are clearly made by a "complainer". the team is super helpful and went out of their way to assist on every possible way. breakfast is fine and even after 13 days we didn't get bored. the restaurant food is very very good and a decent price. overall an extremely nice place to stay. 60-80 baht to most places inside the city centre by Grab. highly recommend this place. Dam the Cat (the manager) was very cute and friendly too.

all good except ..... the floor tiles / stonework which make up the path to the rooms is completely hopeless for trolley bags and also at night it's hard to see. that's one thing I would change immediately if not sooner.

We loved the setting of the resort. Being outside of the city proper was a great way to rejuvenate after our long travel from the USA. The greenery surrounding the bungalows was really beautiful! It felt so natural and made us feel secluded even there were a number of rooms. The open air space for the restaurant was welcoming, and the pool area was tranquil and inviting. The staff was lovely and very helpful. They requested a fantastic place for Thai massage that was within walking distance and for that we were grateful. We ate dinner on site both nights... the food was THAT GOOD!!!! What we really appreciated was the natural ground with a laid back vibe. We truly felt at home at Plan Kled Villa. The bungalow itself was rustic, but so fitting for the setting and made it super charming. It had everything you could need, including AC, a shower, super comfy bed and towels and drinking water provided daily. The hot tub was not hot? But I'm not sure it's supposed to be or if it was just a separate part of the pool. Regardless, the pool was refreshing!

I liked the outdoor area, it was full of green and the rooms were like small bungalows. The staff was very friendly, they cleaned the room and changed the towels daily (a must given the humidity in the area), and the breakfast was also very good. It was a bit outside the city center, but you could easily reach it by Bolt/Grab at a low rate.

There was a lot of humidity, so that made it difficult for towels, etc to get dry. You could also hear people from next house talking. For us it was not really a problem, but if you have trouble sleeping, it might be an issue. The size of the room was also a bit small, especially if you are travelling with normal-sized suitcases.

A delightful resort on the edge of the town. There is an open area for eating and a lovely pool area. The chalet type accommodation is comfortable and clean. The staff are extremely efficient and helpful organising trips and transport. There are various tours available- sightseeing, trekking and cycling. We did a cycle tour up around the. Golden Triangle. The breakfast is great and the food that we had was very tasty and very affordable. We walked into the old town to the night bazaar where you are spoiled for choice regarding different delicious food on offer. It’s easy to get transport back to the Villa. A great place to stay.

The nicest hotel I’ve ever been too. Nestled in nature, you feel like you’re staying in the jungle in your own private cabin. Birds and cicadas singing; wood cracking; and a very romantic feelings inducing confortable bungalow. The staff was extremely kind, the chef is amazing and they are not joking about being an eco village! They have a full vegan menu (and non vegan), their bottles are reusable glass, their cotton buds are not plastic, their packaging is recyclable, etc. And the pool is very nice too! Bonus: they have mosquito repellent cream for free and their cat is super cute!

The swimming pool is fantastic. The staff are really friendly and helpful, even providing a plug- in mosquito deterrent. Relaxing environment in a quiet location. Breakfast was good. 5 min walk to a Lotus supermarket and a local eatery next to it. They lend towels for swimming.

The room was smaller than expected with nowhere to store clothes. Only one chair outside which is a shame as we liked the peaceful surroundings. The shower head holder was broken so made showering difficult. The restaurant food is quite limited and the portions are small.

You need to keep an eye which room you choose. Budget rooms have an very uncomfortable bath

1) good value for money 2) the dinner was good as was the cafe 3) the staff were efficient and friendly 4) the pool area was good (secluded, attractive and with good seating options) 5) the landscaping and planting were really nice

1) needing to put all my clothes on to enjoy breakfast outside when its 14 degrees 2) the room air-con couldn't be used to heat the room 3) no english channels on the TV 4) the bedroom had a strange smell and looked a bit tierd 5) few restaurant options within walking distance

Lovely pool and small but comfortable rooms in small cottages. We didn't eat here (we left too early the following morning for breakfast, although they did provide boiled eggs, bread and jam for the journey). It was a good 20 minutes walk down the hill to the centre of Chiang Rai, but a lovely spot to relax.

Quite a long, busy, and dusty walk into town, with no real pavements (as is usual for Thailand). We just about managed with a teenager and an elderly relative, but with small children I would recommend taking a taxi to get into town if you don't have a vehicle.
