Good breakfast. Clean rooms. Great staff

Most expensive hotel in the region. Not worth the money. Room and taxes outrageous. There are no other brand hotels in Hibbing, so they have the market - and they are charging ransom money. Seems everyone staying there is on business with companies footing the bill, so these customers don't care about the price. People staying on their own dime will go elsewhere like Virginia. Had problem with the TV in my room, whereas local channels didn't work. They tried to fix it for 3 days to no avail, and the manager gave me discount on the room. Netflix worked fine, however no local channels or news available.

The location, the newness and cleanliness of the hotel

The young lady on staff Saturday morning needs to be replaced or some serious re-training. I was standing at the front desk waiting to check out. She was on the phone and did not acknowledge me. She could have told the person to hold on or asked me to give her a moment. When my wife told her to have a nice day she did not answer her either. Since we usually stay at this hotel when in Hibbing, this is not the first time she has acted this way.

We did not see a lot of lodging options in Hibbing and so were happy to find the Hampton Inn. It felt like a very new (or newly renovated) property with exceedingly clean rooms and facilities, ample parking and a nice pool / hot tub.

The price point felt high for the location.

Very clean, good breakfast, including gluten free options, rooms smelled fresh without the use of scented products, complimentary hygiene products were unscented and formulated for sensitive skin. Friendly staff!

The room was spacious and bedding comfortable. I appreciated the breakfast in the morning. It was clean and convenient.

I will never go through booking.com. the Hampton Inn was willing to give me a bereavement fee and waive the fees for canceling original reservation. After calling Hibbing 9 times, booking.com was unwilling to make this happen. I was very disappointed with 3rd party. Now they are sending room rates for Hibbing almost 1/2 cost I paid. I really don't get it!

we travel a lot- and the staff was the friendliest we have ever encountered. the towels were actually soft too. not stiff and over washed. you can tell everyone works hard at doing their job well. even the maintenance guy was friendly!!!

the beds are super hard. nice sheets, blankets, pillows, and comforter, but the mattress was really hard and not comfortable.

Clean, great breakfast, hot tub, room real close to outside door so we could bring in bikes into room to charge.

It was a clean comfortable stay. I appreciated the gluten free muffin and hard boiled eggs in the morning with fruit.

The hotel was great! First time there and it was awesome. 🙂 We will be back.
