Very close to town , the staff were simply amazing from the time we arrived to the day we left .The cleaning staff always left our room very clean .Loved the breakfast every morning.

Sometimes the noise by the pool was a little much , we probably should have chosen a room on the other side of the hotel .Found that some people that enjoy the pool area have no respect and leave cigarette butts and their garbage for others to clean up , which really isn’t fair to hotel staff because they do a heck of a job there .

The hotel manager is wonderful. She is a great communicator, and tries to get the best transport and pricing for wherever you want to go. She definitely made our stay better by accommodating our check in and check out requests. All of the staff there are friendly and accommodating. There are excellent restaurants within walking distance. One of our favourites “Dons” only a block away. Beds are very comfortable, rooms with fridge is nice. The area is safe.

The pool is a nice place to use in the heat of the day. They could use more and better lounge chairs around pool area. Breakfasts were adequate but quality could be improved.

The daily breakfast was exceptional and varied regularly, with several options available. The hotel was very quiet and within short walking distance of all services and many fine restaurants. The facilities were very clean and well maintained. The in-room air conditioning was very welcome, as was the beautiful swimming pool. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and we always felt safe and secure. We would highly recommend this hotel.

Beds are quite comfy and really liked the pool, would be nice if the loungers were like the ones in the pictures. Breakfast was good, nothing exciting but a nice easy breakfast. Would have loved to have some water available at breakfast in addition to the juice and coffee. Staff was friendly and helpful, easy to get a taxi.

It would be nice to have some sort of drinking water, even just one bottle in the room when you arrive. Towels are small and not great by the pool, they should think about getting some larger, pool only towels as many people travel with carry-on and won’t bring their own. Had to pay for all 7 nights upfront which is a bit unusual and also not how it is listed here. Didn’t love the 2 days in a row of gas-powered power washing happening on the pool deck and really wish they would clean off the dirt and bird poop on the loungers.

The breakfast was good. The breakfast staff were nice, friendly and hard working. The rooms were very clean and the kitchen area was a bonus. With the mini fridge and microwave, we were able to have some lunches and suppers in the room. I brought some cutlery, bowls and plates so we could buy groceries and eat in the room. The pool area is beautiful with lots of shade. The front desk staff and manager were very helpful.

I wish the a/c was located more center in the room, it didn't cool the room evenly

We enjoyed the fresh fruit at breakfast. It would have been nice if there was more variety such as eggs made to order instead of scrambled. We would have liked the option of toast everyday, but I realize you can't please everyone. The coffee was great. Loved the pool often had it to ourselves.

A suggestion would be to put a hand rail of some sort to enter and exit the pool as it was a bit awkward for us older people.

I liked the location, close to mostly everything, no more than a 10min drive. Breakfast is different every morning.

wifi was horrible, need better service at that, towels need to be asked for, they don't change bedsheets nor towels.

Can get noisy at times with children running through the halls.

Breakfast was great. Service at breakfast was impeccable. Loved the location - tucked in a quiet residential area with plenty of restaurants. We stayed here one night to avoid the noise of Carnival in Santa Cruz. Returned for a second night, when we found out that carnival was not yet over.....definitely recommend this small hotel - the pool area has the feel of a mini resort.

The only thing that could have been better was a coffee maker in the room.
