This small hotel had absolutely lovely staff. Very helpful and friendly. The pool was wonderful with lots of space to sit and read in the water, or swim and play. Rooms were clean and any issues addressed quickly. The hotel is just a few minutes walk from our favourite beach, and a nice walk or short taxi drive to the marina and the historical district and restaurants. We started every morning with a cappuccino and breakfast in the patio restaurant. Great service and clean rooms. Would stay again.

This is a great location. We stayed in the area before, and it is close to many good places to eat, the beach (chahue), and the Chedraui (big grocery store). Easy and reasonable walk to Santa Cruz or La Crucecita. Room was a little smaller than anticipated based on the pictures, but still cozy and quiet. Pool was excellent and often quiet, which was very nice. Son Juan restaurant, which is right in front, was convenient and excellent.

The breakfast was simple and mostly the same every day, but very fresh. Most importantly, the coffee was good! My husband landed in the hospital for a night. The hotel moved us to a suite for the same price as the room so he would be more comfortable when he came back! One of the staff went out and bought a little bag full of Mexican treats for him! Truly kind and helpful people! It was a short walk to a beautiful beach and a 15 min. walk into the center of town.

Hot water in the suite was sketchy. The pool sometimes had leaves and things floating in it that should have been removed.

Glad it hd an A/C bc it was hot and humid outside. The pool was nice but we couldn't use it since it was only open from 8am til 9 pm and it was past 9pm when we checked in.

There was sand around the room and under the bed, the stand with the mirror was very dusty, and they didn't leave us any towels in the bathroom to dry off after showering. Upon check out they asked us about the towels and we told the front desk that we didn't get any. And she didn't even apologize

The room far exceeded my expectations and the price I was paying for it. This is a small hotel (taxi driver struggled to find it) about an 8 minute walk from Chahue Beach -- which is large, mostly empty, and a nice mix of crashing waves with quieter spots... lifeguards on duty. No shade though, and risk of strong currents. 15 min walk up to the main town and about the same to the marina, where the boat tours depart from. The whole town felt very safe and friendly. Not over developed though a lot of construction going on. The restaurant is here is excellent. The complimentary breakfast was nice but after a few days I wanted something more/different (and of course, you can always pay for that).

I consider myself an independent traveller but the downside to such a small hotel, travelling alone, there weren't any other native English speaking customers (everyone was Mexican), and my Spanish is virtually non existent. I was surprised the staff here also didn't speak any English really. So we resorted to google translate and I drifted to the neighbouring Villa Blanca hotel for dinner and a bit of conversation. The hotel could use better signage -- my airport taxi took 5 mins to find it even with google maps.

Hotel is in a very good location, very close to the beach, supermarket and other restaurants are very close to the facility. It's in a bit less touristic area which makes it less crowded and the closest beach is almost empty and marvelous at the same time. The inner yard with swimming pool was very nice. Special thanks to the lady, the only one who spoke English, she really helped us to organise very nice trip to coffe plantation and also gave us some recommendations what to see around. That's true that the breakfast was very basic, but really nicely served ;) at least you can have some coffe and fruit in the moening before going further.

The staff are very friendly. Second time staying here and we booked the suite which we loved. Lots of room for a few night stay. We also really enjoyed the pool. Having breakfast in the morning was also a nice benefit.

Very nice pool courtyard. Very nice continental breakfast (bananas, pineapple, papaya), Very nice rum selection at bar. Air conditioner in room worked really well! 3min walk to a fully stocked supermercado. 20min walk to central plaza for nice restaurants. Walking was safe with many locals walking the main avenida.

Very common for beds in Mexico to be firmer than I like. Perhaps my back appreciated it after 3rd night ;o)

The location of the hotel is perfect; it's very easy to get to any of the bays that Huatulco has to offer. There is a mall and a convenience store within walking distance, and several restaurants with delicious and affordable food. The facilities are lovely and clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful.

The continental breakfast was incredible. Upon checking in the reception mentioned it is toast and coffee but we were pleasantly surprised every day by delicious coffee, fresh squeezed orange juice, delicious breads with agave and raspberry butter, and an array of tropical fruits presented beautifully with yogurt and granola on the side. The staff always went above and beyond and were genuinely kind to all the guests. We always felt safe and cared for. The pool was refreshing (it would have not been fun staying in Huatulco in April without a pool given the heat!)and always immaculate, as were the rooms. The proximity to the beach, grocery store and amazing street food (15 min walk) was a perfect balance of feeling in the city while still having vacation comforts. Overall it surpassed our expectations of a hotel and we can't recommend it enough!

The only possible room for improvement is the construction noises around the hotel, which is beyond the control of Eden Costa. It was only noticeable if we were at the pool in the middle of the day which was uncommon. If you like being busy then it would not have been noticeable. The excellent service, breakfast and facilities well made up for some banging anyway!
