The location was good. 15min walking distance to Santa Cruz Beach and city centre. The hotel was clean and beds comfortable. The reception staff were lovely.

We didn’t like that there was no kettle available in the room. We love drinking hot tea in the evening and the hotel restaurant was closed at 3pm. The restaurant staff appeared always unhappy and never smiling. Once I came 10min earlier before the service began and wanted to pour myself coffee as it was ready to go but the waitress said that I am not allowed. I have been to many hotels in Asia and South America and always staff was going above and beyond to make sure the guests are happy. I didn’t feel this attitude in Hotel Mexico Lindo. The pool area was always very loud in the evening so if you are sensitive to noise request a room further away.

Here are the negatives: - The restaurant closes at 3 pm - No fridge in the rooms - There is no coffee or tea-making facility in the room or on-site after the restaurant closes at 3 pm. We found this disappointing after returning to the hotel before dinner and not being able to get a cup of tea/coffee/soft drink. We took to visiting a beach bar to get a cup of coffee.

I love the location of this hotel. It is closest to my favourite beach - Chahue Beach and only a 20 minute walk into town. The staff are lovely and the hotel is exceptionally clean. The pool is spotless and wonderful to lounge by after a day out exploring.

The only downside is not having a refrigerator/coffee maker. There is a restaurant that is open from 8am-3pm where they serve a great breakfast. Unfortunately, their coffee is terrible.

Location - within walking distance of everything. Staff - really did their best to make us comfortable and taken care of. Cleanliness - every staff person was involved in cleaning all the nooks and crannies.

It would be lovely if the rooms had a small fridge. Pool needs to be filtered more often when it’s been heavily used. We understand the high cost of electricity, so these are small inconveniences. Due to the popularity of the restaurant buffet with bus tours, we would suggest tables for hotel guests are reserved in the morning to ensure guests get their breakfast served in a timely manner.

For a quaint family owned local hotel, Mexico Lindo was superb. Our room had comfortable, clean beds. Staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. The restaurant offers good breakfast and lunches. After a day exploring it was a blessing to hop in the refreshing heated pool, and finally the hotel offered the perfect location to explore the area.

Like a lot of the local hotels Hotel Mexico Lindo did not have a coffee maker and a fridge in the rooms. We just went to the local store and got a cooler and ice from the local convenience store and we were set. The furniture around the pool could use some updating.

We had breakfast included during our stay. The breakfast was good but not much selection or choice to change it up. We like the location. It is centrally located. We really liked the staff. They were very helpful and responsive. It was a very clean Hotel and the swimming pool was clean and well maintained. We also the many plants and palm trees that surrounded the Hotel. The staff paid attention to detailed and took wonderful care in all areas. The staff were very accommodating.

The coffee needs improvement. It was weak and Mexico is known for their good coffee so it was disappointing not to have tasty cup of coffee in the morning.

The staff is friendly and professional. They went above and beyond to help us with outside requests. The location is fantastic close to shopping and beaches. The hotel layout is nice with rooms all surrounding the pool, the nice little restaurant. The rooms kept very clean.

There was nothing that we didn’t like about this place.

Breakfast was regional Mexican dishes. They offer a buffet during weekends during low season. Well located, within minutes to Chahue and Santa Cruz beaches also within 15 minutes walk to the city centre. Small and local hotel. Close to a Chedraui supermarket and an Oxxo, Spacious rooms and a pool.

Maybe a little frigobar to keep some food when people are staying a bit longer.

The rooms were comfortable and so clean and large. The staff was incredible and took such good care or us. The location could not have been better.We stepped right into all the activity, art and music and yet our room was so quiet. I would recommend.

At first I was disappointed that there was no widow but we had AC and it made for a quiet sleep.

The staff were so friendly. They gave good travel advice, helped book buses, call for taxis and provided restaurant recommendations. Everyone at the hotel was polite and civil and was never noisy at night. The staff cleaned the rooms daily. The aircon and shower worked well. The beds were comfy. The railings were very useful to dry off wet swimwear too! Playa Entrega was only 60 pesos away by taxi, great beach! Great snorkeling. Hotel is close to a beach and also a supermarket. Would visit again!

Wish there were more restaurants nearby.
