A] Rooms were excellent and very contemporary. B] Super-friendly staff and brilliant Concierge.

A] BREAKFAST a real let-down. Tried one day and never went back. French bread was stale too. Only choice of eggs were hard-boiled or scrambled. B] PRICE OF DRINKS in 3rd floor bar were exorbitant. Example HKD48 for a small can 180ml of Schweppes Tonic Water C] Elevators advertises bar open for Happy Hour from 9:30pm until dawn when in fact it was not possible to get a drinl after 10:30pm! D] City view is terrible. Make sure you book a SEA VIEW (Aberdeen Typhoon Shelter) facing room.

Very good location, 15 minutes from the center by public transport, spacious rooms and good service and comfy bed. Shower was great.

Pool is closed in winter, they also take deposit 2500HK$, which will be returned upon check out but still I did not expect that so it was unpleasant surprise.

Definitely the view of the Hong Kong southern harbour view. I took so many pictures and videos of it. The hotel is close to the subway station and a nice mall that opens recently. However, I wish it has a grocery store inside the mall that we can buy fruits and snacks to enjoy in our rooms.

Although the walk to the subway station is short, only about 7 mins, we have to pass by a smelly open waste water drainage. I had to wear a mask everyday while walking next to it. My husband also complained the noise in the early morning when the subway train passing by. But I found the noise tolerable and it didn’t wake me up.

The staff are exceptional, friendly, helpful and polite. The rooms are incredible. They pay extreme attention to detail in everything. Beautiful rooms spotlessly clean. Comfortable with extraordinary views. Really a beautiful well thought out hotel. I loved staying here. It’s definitely worth the stay and I will probably stay at this property again.

The location was a bit far from the places I needed to go. No too central as it is in Aberdeen. So I spent a lot on transport. The deposit of HKD 1000 was a surprise. This should be communicated clearly on bookings before confirming the reservation.

We checked into our room facing the harbour in the evening and was greeted with a gorgeous sunset view 🌇 The hotel is conveniently located near bus stop and MTR station for exploring the city and the seafood market at the former fishing village Ap Lei Chau. After the 2nd day we started to take the bus to Times Square at Causeway Bay (4 bus stops) and Pottinger Street and Hong Kong MTR station at Central area (leas than 30 mins) instead of the MTR that requires a slightly longer walk to the MTR station and a change at Admiralty station. The staff from front desk to housekeeping we met during our stay were all very attentive and polite.

We had a wonderful stay at The Arca! The room was exceptional — located on the 35th floor, it offered breathtaking views of Hong Kong both at night and in the morning. Watching the city lights sparkle and waking up to such a view was a real highlight of the trip. The room itself was surprisingly spacious and beautifully designed with a clean, Scandinavian touch that made it feel both stylish and cozy. Everything was thoughtfully laid out, making it a very comfortable stay. The check-in and check-out process was incredibly smooth and efficient, which made everything even more enjoyable. If you stay at The Arca, I highly recommend taking the Aberdeen Fishing Village Boat Tours — it's a great way to experience a different side of Hong Kong. Plus, getting to Wan Chai was easy, just about a 30-minute bus ride or MTR via South Island Line and Island Line. Overall, it was a fantastic stay in a quieter, more relaxed part of Hong Kong — perfect if you're looking to unwind while still being close to the city's energy. Highly recommend!

Overall, the room was very clean and spacious, considering the usual small room size in Hong Kong. We were also surprised at how good was the soundproof between the shower area and bedroom area. I can't really hear the water sound when my friend was bathing! The water pressure was excellent too! After walking for the whole day, the strong water pressure provided comfort for us. Not forgetting the fabulous sea view, I booked the sea view room after reading about the reviews of it, and indeed it met my expectations. The staffs at the reception and concierge were very friendly and approachable too. I ordered the birthday celebration package for my friend; all the staffs did a great job in arranging it! My friend really got a big surprise :D Kudos to all the staff involved!

The humidity in the room was too high, we tried to wash our clothes for the first day and it can't get dry during the stay period. In the end I gave up washing anymore. The humidity also caused the bedsheets to feel "wet" and the papers on table also turned "soft" from the humidness. I suggest the hotel could place a dehumidifier machine in each room. We also noticed some mold on the ceiling.

Set in a more relaxing spot overlooking the harbour, the rooms by HK standards are spacious and modern. We had a two bed apartment with a sitting area, which was good for the three of us. The staff were professional and friendly. Check in was quick. Restaurant downstairs was nice and convenient. Room service also a great option for tired travellers! Pool area was nice, with a bar/cafe where you could get food or drinks sent up. Near the train station and a shopping centre which had a small niche kind of supermarket if you needed supplies. Plenty of dining options. My son let something behind after we left and the staff have been very helpful in helping us retrieve it.

My only suggestions would be more facilities in the kitchen area of the apartment - toaster, microwave, slightly bigger fridge, cleaning products so you can be a bit more self sufficient (green credentials go out the window if you need to buy your own dish sponges, washing liquid etc), advice on recycling and rubbish removal. The air con was quite aggressive and noisy, but that’s probably something you need to accept in apartments.

I had a fantastic stay at The Arca. The bedding was exceptional, ensuring a great night's sleep, and the entire place smelled wonderful and was impeccably clean. The breakfast buffet, though a bit pricey, was delicious and offered a wide variety of options. The infinity pool was stunning, especially with the amazing view. While the hotel is a little off the beaten path, it’s very easily accessible via the MTR and bus routes. The room was spacious, and the staff were always attentive and eager to help. Overall, the price was reasonable for the quality of service provided.
