Everything. The house. The pool. The staff. The quiet. The privacy

I booked a specific house and then learned it was a Booking thing. No-one there was aware that I had chosen THAT house. But when I mentioned it they changed everything to get me my dream experience! I was there for the privacy and the quiet. And then it was Saturday early morning… and the man with the lawn cutter showed up. Early! Marta did everything she could to keep him away from my house but the contract said he could only work Saturdays. After the poor woman chased him away for hours he came back to the area mid-afternoon. Much better but it still meant I had this “special” buzzing soundtrack for HOURS while trying to relax by the pool. No fault of hers. The woman was tireless in her efforts to protect my privacy and quiet. They just need to review their contracts.

It a beautiful property in a very calm area. The room was huge and nicely decorated. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom had both a bath and a shower with was amazing. The pool was a perfect place to relax.

We waited for good 20-30 min at the office after arriving- even if the owner texted us and we shared our exact arrival time prior. The lady that showed us to our room insisted that we tell her at what time exactly we wanted to have breakfast the next day (when we said between 8:30-9:00, she insisted that we pick the EXACT time). But then there was nothing ready at 8:30. We waited until 9am for her to show up. It would be no problem at all, but why insist we pick the exact time and then not get it ready?

We liked everything. Was just for one night in a working day, so there weren't many people staying there, we could as well be the only ones. Super calm, clean, great morning walk in the cork oak field accompanied with Rosinha, cutest dog ever.

Bathroom window on zero floor didn't have curtain, potentially could be looked inside by just passing by. didn't bother us too much but was little strange.

Beautiful location. There were no other guests when we stayed there which made it even better. There was a sweet little dog that followed us around and we 100% loved it. The breakfast was really nice and so was the staff.

The access to the property isn’t the best. The room was really cold when we arrived (it was January though) but we asked for an extra blanket and it was promptly provided. Once we gave the AC a good 20/30 minutes the room was warm.

Everything! It’s the most amazing and perfect place to stay if you want to connect with nature and relax. The breakfast is delicious, Rosinha is the cutest dog, and Marta was the best hostess! We felt very welcome, thank you!

Truly beautiful place in the middle of nowhere, where you can rest and recharge. The rooms/villas are comfortable and cozy :)

The place is so good already that it could only be better with an investment into the mattresses that they currently have

A beautiful sanctuary for people whom would like to switch off from the city's noise. The staff and Filipa are very friendly and helpful. The estate is and the room was cozy, quiet and peacful. I can only recommend and we will definitely return for a longer stay!

Excellent location and setting! Very beautiful and well kept! The staff were super friendly, as well as Roger (the dog) - we couldn't have chosen better to switch off and relax, whilst enjoying the swimming pool or a drive to the coast for a swim in the sea! If you like to watch the stars, it's also an excellent spot - it's magical to look up in the sky at night!

The only thing, and it is a preference, is the mattresses could be a little softer; apart from that we had a super relaxed stay!

The peace and calm, perfect to relax. Very beautiful environment and was a shame that the weather was not hot enough to dive in the pool, definitely will come back in the summer.

It needs some renovations

Remote, quiet & peaceful. Great pool with wonderful gardens and 360 degrees views of the cork tree plantation.

No coffee making facilities, but possibly due to the time of year, (we had a very good deal). Asked about coffee and was brought fresh jug of coffee straight away!
