The place feels and looks brand new, lots of space. Parking was very easy, free and secure. Somebody put a lot of effort to blend some history with a good quiet stay.

Google maps could not find the place, just continue the main road and you can not miss it. Not everyone spoke English. The restaurant around the corner was very simple and local people are very simple with the typical temperament of south Europe. Sometimes it feels they want to fight you, but actually they seek interaction and are your friend. But if you are tired from a long trip and do not speak Portuguese you might want to stay at you room. The hotel itself is a very good place!

the price was fair , the hotel has so much potential , it’s a big hotel nice downstairs common areas , nice balcony off the rooms

ok there is a number of things first off the staff , they could learn to smile and be friendly , they lacked any information even about the hotel . we got more sense out of the pool cleaner than the actual reception the hot water in the room took ten minutes to heat up , the bed wasn’t real comfortable , the restaurant thou there is photos maki g it look like a restaurant isn’t really one ,no menu , nothing on offer but the same thing every day , this hotel with just some attention could easily be a 9 but currently it isn’t

Substantial parking, large pool area with cosy rooms and great catering. We arrived quite late at night having not eaten all day, our receptionist offered to prepare toasties for us which were very generous in portion-size and a very reasonable price. Bathroom in room was exceptionally clean.

The room was beautiful with a large balcony overlooking the pool. The pool was amazing with plenty of sunbeds the food was exceptionally good and brilliant value for money the staff went out of their way to make sure everything was great

This hotel is wonderful, so friendly and helpful staff, everything is clean and there was a cosy fireplace downstairs and the staff made a vegetarian meal for me even though is was only meat on the meny.

Restaurent close on Monday but the lady from reception open the kitchen at 22:00 and cook us a meal herself after a long day travel wich was really kind of her Great rooms very clean and comfy Car park 10/10 I recomand it Don't hesitate

The welcoming staff. - Comfort, quietness and charm of the venue. - Restaurant and hotel in the same facility (we could eat in spite of a rather late arrival).

Maybe a little more pressure in the shower flow. Otherwise everything was perfect.

The fact that is on our way to the Algarve, in a very convenient location for a pit stop... I definitely will come back to explore the surrounding area. The facilities were great and the staff is super nice and friendly.

The staff are fantastic and the hotel is in an interesting setting of a mining area.

If the restaurant had a menu that would help and a selection of drinks available from the two lovely looking bars!
