In short: fantastic stay. But Fonneke&Theo B&B deserves more words. The structure is in the countryside, not far from Ferreira do Alentejo, but it’s an island of cork oaks, palms, figs, orange trees. The nature is lavish. Our room was overlooking the pool, a much needed and refreshing asset of this structure. It was spacious, furnished with taste and perfectly equipped, with a mini-fridge, coffee machine and water. A selection of wines is available for you to taste, maybe on the private veranda right outside the full-wall window. Everything is quiet and lovely here, the only sounds you’ll hear are the sounds of nature. Let’s talk about breakfast: probably the best Ever tried, all prepared dayly by your hosts. See picture. Theo is going to be a great support for your trip, always ready to suggest restaurants, activities and Places to see. A precious and much appreciated help. We left this morning and we miss Fonneke&Theo already!

Just a warning: there is a lot to see in the Alentejo region, but there’s also a lot to drive. Keep it in mind, but otherwise enjoy this countryside jewel

My stay with Fonneke & Theo was excellent and exactly what I was looking for - remote, quiet, luxurious, uncomplicated. And thats what I got. I stayed for 2 nights and came back very relaxed. Everything is very well furnished, all around the property you find unique decor and well thought out design features. The room is very spacious and the bed is super comfy. I enjoyed the room service breakfast. As it is very remote, you do need a car, which I had, but for a full day I simply enjoyed the peacefulness, went for a walk and read a book by the pool. I can recommend for singles, couples or young families with small children (they do have a family house for rent).

The location is perfect for those looking for relaxation, tranquillity and contact with nature. The hosts are friendly, polite and always concerned about the well-being of their guests. The breakfast is exceptional, with lots of variety and made with local produce. The accommodation is clean and modern. I look forward to returning here.

First, the hospitality of the owners. They are very kind, they show you their home. Then the orange and lemon trees! At breakfast you are served oranges from that same trees. The breakfast was very good, the room was nice.

Trend is a great place to rest! The hosts are the nicest ever! They always check if everything is perfect or if we need anything. They're super nice and amazing hosts. 5 stars. The breakfast is really good! The pool is amazing, it's warm and salty! Everything is in perfect condition. It's a great place to relax and spend some quality time!

It's just a suggestion, but if the rooms had a microwave it woul be perfect! Because the rooms have no kitchen and even tho the restaurants are not very far, it would be nice to have that option!

Great home made breakfast the hosts were very welcoming and available. Ideal for a get away from the daily city stress and to reconnect with nature.

The only less positive is the location you need to drive about 15min to the main town for restaurants or super markets.

Everything was perfect. bedrooms are a mix of luxury and peace. the owners are very friendly. i definitely recommend this place for those who are looking for peace and quality (for a very good price!)

I liked everything

This place is way better in real life than the pictures! Theo and Fonneke are amazing hosts, they will give you recommendations that you MUST follow. Super friendly and kind. The breakfast is amazing, with fresh orange juice and an assortment of sweet and savoury ingredients. The place is very quiet so it’s amazing to rest and enjoy the calmness around. There are a very good bunch of great restaurants around that you definitely need to try. The room is great too with all the amenities needed, hairdryer, towels etc then you have a mini bar, a kettle and even a wine opener! You’ll find a few friends around, we were lucky to meet Luna a two week old donkey, and her parents. You’ll also be welcome by Luz, the kindest dog ever. I can’t recommend this place enough.

I wish I could have stayed longer!!

If you want to escape from the fuss and the noise of the city, this is the perfect place. Very good room with a very smart decoration, breathtaking exterior with a great pool. An awesome place to relax and be happy.

My stay at Trendy and Luxe Bed & Breakfast was simply fantastic. Lovely space, super comfortable room with huge attention to every detail. The breakfast is wonderful and Theo and Fonneke are amazing hosts. They made me feel at home. I will certainly come back. Thank you very much for everything.
