The continental breakfast was enough to satisfy most people. My room 101 was next to it. Sometimes I could hear the chiller pump kick in of the fridge cooler. The bed was hard the way I like it and the A/C cooled the room. I came on a motorcycle which was possible to park in the pedestrian street under my varandah. I doubt not so with a car. There is a mini fridge to put your cold drinks in. Friendly and mostly family staff.

No English speaking news channel on the big TV.

I've stayed in a lot of hotels over the years but for the blend of genuine staff warmth, quaintness, value for money, comfy bed and character, I'd have to put this one up near the top. Its location right in the cobblestoned centre of Beja just adds to the allure. If you are staying in Beja, itself a very nice little town, don't look any further.

Nothing, everything was excellent.

Lovely small hotel in the middle of Beja, a location which made getting about easy. The breakfasts were excellent - plenty of choice with foods typical to the region. Very, very friendly people (in fact, some of whom are the owners themselves) and all are really helpful. We would stay again without a doubt.

One just needs to be able to find the hotel without driving to the door because it is on a pedestrian street. Not a big issue.

Location: very central and easy to find. Breakfast is VERY GOOD! Varied, with fruit, eggs, different assortment of homemade cakes and bread! Staff was very nice and accommodating, available to help and understanding of the baby needs.

The location is near the bus stop. The hotel is in pedestrian road which is a plus, quiet, and plenty of restaurants, castle, stores to visit. Breakfast had a variety of delicious fruits, eggs, coffee. The owner and family were very nice to us. One night we sat at the entrance of hotel (tables and chair available) to have wine we bought at a store, and they brought us cheese and cold cuts as complementary service. Rooms were clean and comfortable. We recommend this place!

Characterful hotel, great central location with friendly service. Good comfy, communal lounge with lots of books, games etc. Our room had a nice little balcony overlooking a very pleasant (pedestrianised) road. Nice breakfast. Very good value for money. Would book again.

The bed is comfortable. Nice, clean room with helpful staff. Location is perfect, walking distance to the castle and museum. There is a Supermarket ‘Pingo Doce’ nearby. The breakfast which was included was a very nice surprise for us. The breakfast buffet had a wide selection.

My room was facing a Bar which opened till midnight was a bit noisy. I was woken up by the noise once.

Centrally located, this family owned hotel, pulls out all the stops to be helpful on every step of your stay. They simply could not be more helpful. Great breakfast!!!

The street on which the hotel is located is now pedestrianised but there is street parking 200 metres away - it’s free at weekends and from 6:00pm to 9:00am and only 2:40€ for 4 hours. The room did not have a safe for valuables.

Staff is amazing at all levels of service. Breakfast room is a delight as is service. My room was perfect for my needs & location of hotel makes it easy to walk anywhere. I adored my time there!

Very well located, right in the heart of the city. Super cozy and inviting facilities. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Varied breakfast options. Super nice overall.

Room cleaning could be a bit more thorough. Tiny bathroom.
