My partner and I stayed at Samaina Port Hotel in late August for four days due to my work commitments. We had a lovely apartment (split level) spread over two floors with a fantastic view of the port. The balcony offered a beautiful view of the sea and the promenade along the port, which we enjoyed daily, accompanied by a drink. The two-level layout of the suite was incredibly convenient, allowing me to work downstairs without disturbing my partner on the upper floor. In general, we had lot of space! For work, I had the option to meet my colleagues in the mid-level space, which was filled with cozy tables, or at the bar connected to the hotel—both were really useful for our meetings. The hotel’s location is excellent, just a few steps from the port, making it super convenient. It’s also close to some great restaurants and nearby beaches. The staff was very friendly and always available to assist. Overall, it was a comfortable and convenient stay, and we were indeed very pleased with our choice.

If you are looking for the perfect hotel in Karlovasi, don't hesitate to book Samaina Port Hotel. From the start of our arrival the greeting was perfect. We celebrated our honeymoon, so we found a very nice surprise in the fridge and the whole room was decorated with candles. It is worth booking a room with a sea view, because you will have the opportunity to see the most beautiful harbor and enjoy delicious samian wine on the balcony. The room is very spacious and bright with a king size bed. The linen smelled wonderful. There is an elevator, so you won’t have to carry your luggage up the stairs. I really liked that the most popular restaurants are under the hotel, there are a lot of people, so you can sleep with the balcony open and listen to people’s laughter mixed with the sound of the sea. If the sound bothers you, you can always close the windows :) There is a free parking lot nearby where you can leave your car. Special thanks to the reception staff. The staff were absolutely amazing. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and no ask was too big or too small to do! Our only regret was that we didn't stay here longer! Such great value for money and the people make this place. Very well located to Potami Beach (5 minute taxi ride away) and well situated to the Karlovassi ferry port (walking distance). Close to car rentals too, and we're happy we chose this location for a quick stop over. Also a 30 minutes drive away from Kampo Marathokampos beach which was stunning!

I had a fantastic experience staying at Samoina Hotel. The location is perfect—close to all the attractions and just a short walk from the cafes and restaurants . The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, with everything being neat and tidy throughout my stay. My room had an amazing view that made every morning special. To top it off, the complimentary wine upon arrival was a lovely touch that made me feel very welcome. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Samos!

The hotel's location is fantastic. The rooms are very clean, and the air conditioning and room temperature are ideal. The staff is very helpful and friendly. This was our second stay. I would love to come back

Clean and spacious rooms. Quite fair in terms of offer/price. Good location, right in the port. Quiet rooms.

Needs a quick refurbishing to give it a fresh vibe. Breakfast could be included for the price in one of the restaurants close-by in case opening one is not possible.

This beautiful boutique hotel is steps away from the Karlovasi ferry terminal. Our room was spotless, clean, and comfortable, and we appreciated the complementary water in the room after a long nighttime ferry voyage. The staff is super friendly and helpful, and arranged a taxi to the downtown KTEL intercity bus stop. (About a 25 minute walk, or 7€ taxi is better with bags). Breakfast was delicious as well. The Samaina Port Hotel is an excellent value and highly recommended.

Unfortunately, we were only able to stay one night.

We arrived after midnight for a one night stay, the receptionist was so welcoming. I did say at the time it was the warmest welcome I ever got. That said the warm welcomes continued in Samos, it is a beautiful island with lovely people. We would stay longer in the port hotel next time, there is much to explore here, hikes, wine tasting (which we did), a short walk from.the hotel.

The room was clean, the port was a nice place to hang out and the receptionist people were really really nice and so helpful:) They helped us and showed us a great way to enjoy Samos:) I felt at home thanks to them:)

It is not super close to Vathi and Pisagor's hometown. The bus station is 30 minutes by walk but you can take a taxi to get there. If walking is okay for you, it is not a problem but if it is a problem, you really have to rent a car to travel around Samos.

Samaina Port is really nice and clean hotel with amazing sea view. Marble used in each area and make you to feel great if you like marble. Ms. Koula has positive vibes all day and really helpfull person. Near the hotel you can find beach with free sunbath, supermarket, restaurants etc.
